2507: Sasha celebrates her birthday

Sasha celebrates her 18th birthday, but she's unhappy that Leo has only bought her an old fashioned dress and Calvin hasn't bought her anything at all. Warren turns up at the Valentines' with a present, but Sasha's initial delight turns to disappointment when she finds out it's from Spencer.
Later, at her birthday meal in Il Gnosh, Sasha is further annoyed when Lauren fails to turn up, Calvin continues to be morose and Leo gets drunk. She storms off to the jubilee gardens where Calvin follows and a heated argument ensues. During the spat, Calvin blurts out that Carmel knows that Nige isn't dead and he inadvertently blames Sasha for the collapse of his marriage.
Fleeing to the Loft, Warren cheers Sasha up by offering her The Loft as a party venue and gives her a birthday peck on the cheek. However, when she pulls him into a full kiss, Warren pulls away. Sasha, however, heads off positive that Warren's attracted to her.
Leila tries to go home to get some of her belongings before her parents realise she's moved out. She's later reluctant to let Bel into her room. Bel becomes suspicious and Leila makes up an implausible excuse. Leila scurries away and Bel comes over to the council flat with two bin bags, explaining she went into Leila's 'dark' room and couldn't see any photographs.
Leila comes clean about moving in with Justin and Justin tells Bel he's committed to Leila and reveals that even marriage isn't out of the question. Bel's shocked and wishes Leila luck, secretly knowing it won't last long. Meanwhile, Leila and Justin are stunned at how fast their relationship is moving, while both unable to tell each other how they truly feel.
A loved up Theresa wakes to discover she's got a black eye. Later in Tan and Tumble, she admits to Jacqui that she's started seeing Ste. Jacqui is livid that her cousin is involved with Amy's abusive ex and when she sees Theresa's eye, she assumes it was from Ste and vows to sort him out, despite Theresa protesting his innocence.
An already tense evening for Josh and Amy is further ruined when Ste suggests that he and Theresa take Leah out again. Amy tells Josh that she's worried about Theresa's influence on Leah, but Josh believes Amy is just jealous. Josh is secretly thrilled when a mortified Ste is dragged from Il Gnosh's kitchen by Jacqui and humiliated in front of the customers. Theresa catches up with Ste after convincing Jacqui he didn't hit her but Ste tells Theresa they should cool off and he should never have become involved with a McQueen.
Steph and Sarah take their first dance class in The Loft. Holly and Tom are unhappy when they're put into a group with trouble-causer Persephone who gives them a hard time. Sarah gives Persephone a telling off for her behaviour and while she's doing so, Tom and Holly sneak into Warren's office to escape. Warren is furious when he catches them and Steph blames Sarah for not paying enough attention.
Back at the flat, Holly suggests to Tom that Warren is hiding something as he was so mad at them, so Holly and Tom decide to form the Cunningham Crime Busters detective agency.
2508: Steph is accused of hitting a child

After a grilling from Mercedes, Theresa lies and tells her Ste is in the past, hinting she's got her eye on someone else. Pleased to hear this, Mercedes offers Theresa her 'pulling dress' and some tips. Theresa enlists the help of Anita and the pair skip class to cook Ste a meal but it all ends in disaster. Not knowing what to do, Theresa eventually takes Anita's advice and texts Ste, telling him how she feels, but is gutted when she receives a frosty text back.
Theresa decides to head round to his flat but on the way, they spot Ste and Justin outside The Dog. Theresa and Anita hide out of view and hear Ste telling Justin that Theresa is bad news and too young for him. Theresa blames Anita for her advice and the pair fall out.
Desperate, a nervous Theresa turns up on Ste's doorstep, glammed up wearing Mercedes' dress, eager to prove she's not too young for him. Ste's unable to resist and lustfully leads Theresa to his bedroom.
Sarah meets Steph at MOBS and although it's still awkward, they share their excitement over the dance school's success. Archie passes by on his way to bowls and Steph overly encourages him to join the class that day, obviously trying to play matchmaker between him and Sarah.
At the class, Archie turns up wearing leg warmers and a headband and throws himself into it, causing chaos in the process. While trying to help him, Sarah is interrupted by Lydia who accuses her of hitting her sister, Persephone.
An innocent Sarah fiercely denies the claims but is still fired by Steph who puts the school's reputation first. Feeling lower than ever, Sarah gets drunk with Archie but feels even worse when he rejects her advances and leaves.
Leila and Justin are both trying to act normal, despite both being really uncomfortable with their situation. Leila has too many belongings to fit in Justin's room and her messiness is really starting to annoy Ste, who moans to Justin. Justin unconvincingly tells Ste he thinks that his relationship is going to work. Leila's attempts to help out in the flat result in a broken boiler and a smashed shelf. To redeem herself, Leila gets in some beers and cooks the lads a feast, which manages to restore the peace.
A fed up Tom and Holly are desperately wanting a case for their detective agency, Cunningham Crime Busters. They sit sharing a hot chocolate in Il Gnosh, much to the annoyance of Mercedes. Business is booming with her dodgy dealings and Tom and Holly are just getting in the way so she tries to throw them out.
Holly stands her ground, threatening to tell Cindy and Mercedes backs down, before getting them another drink. The pair give up and decide to leave Il Gnosh, but Holly suddenly notices that Mercedes is selling stock and pocketing the money. Finally, Holly and Tom have found the case they've been looking for!
2509: Sasha continues to tease Warren

Theresa is still at Ste's after sleeping with him the night before. She's so eager to please him and even cleans the kitchen. Ste, still unsure about her, is cold and snappy. In an effort to impress him, Theresa claims she can sort his money worries by going on the rob with Jacqui's baby bump. A bemused Ste is uninterested and leaves the flat when Amy calls and asks him to mind Leah.
At the SU Bar, a 'pregnant' Theresa spots Lydia's purse on a table, but as she tries to pocket it, Lydia spots her. Theresa flees but drops a school text book on her way. In school, Gov accuses Amy of the theft as she's the only pregnant girl in the school and despite protesting her innocence, Amy is suspended. Ste realises what's happened and is quick to rescue Amy, telling Gov the truth. Theresa is confronted and identified by Lydia as the thief and is suspended from school by Gov. Ste, meanwhile, quietly hopes Theresa doesn't find out who shopped her.
Sarah is hung-over and still on a downer about being fired from the dance school. She confronts Steph about the incident, to no avail. She is embarrassed when she meets Archie but thanks him for not taking advantage. An upbeat Archie persuades her to come along to his bowls match.
At first reluctant, Sarah soon gets into it and cheers on Archie, who wins the match, but only until the umpire claims Sarah was sneezing to distract the opposition and disqualifies Archie for cheating. A deflated Sarah and Archie head back to the village and bump into Lydia and Persephone. It soon becomes clear that Persephone was lying about Sarah hitting her and an embarrassed Lydia promises to sort things out. Steph feels really bad and offers Sarah her job back, which she refuses. Archie tries to talk Sarah round and she eventually tells Steph she'll return to work at the dance school.
Sasha is busy organising her fashion show and birthday party at The Loft. She is pleased when Warren arrives with Spencer in tow to help out. Spencer, however, is more eager to hang out with Zak and Hayley. Stressed out, Warren is reluctant but eventually allows him.
The sexual tension builds between Warren and Sasha and after a few near kisses, the mood is shattered when Zak runs in explaining that Spencer's in trouble. A game of dare has gone wrong and Spencer is stuck on a wall. He is eventually coaxed down by Zak, who firstly has to sing an Everton song as his dare. Sasha heads home with Warren and Spencer and seductively tells Warren it's only a matter of time before she snares him.
Tom and Holly are sneakily taking photos of Mercedes' dodgy dealings when Cindy catches them. Realising they've discovered the scam, Cindy makes them delete any incriminating photos of her. Holly and Tom confront Mercedes who is amused at first until she realises they have evidence. Tom is shocked when Holly asks for a cut of the profits to ensure their silence. Mercedes' shock turns to anger when she realises Cindy has cleared herself first. Cindy is pleased with Holly's bribing, seeing a chance to make more money.
2510: Tom and Holly blackmail Mercedes

Despite being blackmailed by Tom and Holly, Mercedes continues with the scam and business is booming. While Mercedes and Malachy quiz Cindy over Holly bribing them, Jacqui enters and overhears their conversation. She immediately wants in on the scam and starts planning. Myra is soon involved and the gang begin to shift more stock than ever before.
Dominic arrives unexpectedly and announces he's doing a stock take, which causes everyone to panic. Cindy, impressing Mercedes and Malachy with her quick thinking, manages to drop Dominic's ledger into the sink, ruining it and saving them all. Myra escapes via the back door with meat taped under her dress but later returns after being attacked by a dog. Loretta arrives to see Dom but Mercedes is quick to have a go about her job. Il Gnosh quickly erupts and as multiple fights break out. Only the shock return of Tony silences them all. Tony's horrified at the bedlam Il Gnosh has become.
Ste is pleased at his breakthrough with Amy and Leah yesterday but feels guilty for shopping Theresa. Ste and Justin head out for a pint and bump into Natty with his mates. They're on their way to the football and persuade Ste and Justin to join them. Ste fits right in but Justin quickly becomes wary of the gang and soon leaves after Natty quizzes him over Charlie.
Natty and his mates tell Ste they know how he feels about Amy and the baby and reassure him that they'll help him. Ste returns after having a good day and is quick to dismiss Justin's claims that Natty and his mates are football hooligans. Still on a high from the football, Ste calls Theresa and asks her to go round his, determined that his day can only get better.
Theresa is at home after being suspended from school and is still completely unaware that it was Ste who shopped her to Gov. She envisions some relaxing time off but Myra soon ruins this fantasy by loading her with textbooks. Myra tells Theresa that Gov has set her coursework to complete and orders her to stay in until she's finished it.
Unable to concentrate, Theresa soon cracks and phones Ste, leaving a voicemail. Bored with coursework, she heads to MOBS for a smoothie but is caught by Myra and Jacqui. Myra gives Theresa an ultimatum - stay at home or return to Nana's. Theresa reluctantly heads home. Fed up and bored, Theresa is pleased when Ste calls and asks her to go round. Ignoring Myra's orders, she agrees to go.
Michaela can't stop talking about Zak's heroism with Spencer the day before. The pair head off to the careers fair and Michaela is adamant that Zak must find a suitably manly vocation. Zak tries to explain that he didn't do anything to help Spencer, claiming that she's making a big deal out of a very non-heroic act. Unstoppable, Michaela sneakily signs Zak up to the Territorial Army, even though he's resigned himself to a career in teaching.
