    Debbie to break out

Over in Emmerdale in a couple of weeks, Eli (Joseph Gilgun) and Marlon (Mark Charnock) prepare to execute their extraction plot to break Debbie (Charley Webb) out of the hospital.

With Eli dressed as a chef and Marlon as a vicar, the pair, gun in hand, head into the hospital to look around, while Shadrach (Andy Devine) waits tentatively in the getaway van. Discovering that Debbie and Danielle (Nicola Stapleton) are under heavy guard, Eli seizes the moment and attacks one of the prison officers with Danielle's help.

Not all goes as smoothly as Eli had hoped, though, when he hears what Debbie has to say for herself....

Zak (Steve Halliwell) gets a bad feeling about the scheme when Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Eli (Joseph Gilgun) turn up dressed as a vicar and chef respectively. While the two brothers head inside the hospital to look around, Zak and Shadrach (Andy Devine) wait nervously in the van. Zak shows Shadrach that he’s brought a gun insisting they’ll do whatever it takes if the initial plan fails. After finding Debbie (Charley Webb) and Danielle (Nicola Stapleton) under heavy guard, Eli attacks the prison officers with Danielle’s help. Marlon helps Eli to hide the guards, but Eli is crushed when Debbie refuses to go with them, sure the whole family will be locked up and Sarah will be left alone. Both are choking back the tears as Debbie tells Eli not to let Sarah forget her. Has Debbie thrown away her last chance for freedom?
