Monday 5 January on Channel 4

Tony's living nightmare worsens as he's arrested in the Village for sexual activity with a child. Mandy attempts to calm his fears, but he's convinced he's about to lose everything. Arriving at work, a paranoid Tony is determined to move on with his life, however, this comes crashing down around him when Calvin and Mark show up unannounced and arrest him, much to Cindy's delight. At the police station, Mark uses all his efforts to force Tony to confess to his crime before eventually releasing him. Back at Gnosh, a cold and tired Holly spots Tony's return. Heading over, she tells him about Cindy failing to pick her up from school and asks if she can wait with him. A frantic Cindy and Mandy are searching for Holly and discover her in Gnosh. Having witnessed his earlier arrest, Cindy misreads the situation and flies at Tony, telling him to stay away from Holly. A devastated Tony falls into Mandy's arms, as the reality of his situation finally hits home - he's about to lose everything.

Carmel's excited - it's her first day as school liaison officer, but Calvin's clearly occupied with other things, leading her to ask whether he regrets marrying her. Mark's pleased when he gets a positive ID from Louise on Tony leaving the Loft with Theresa. Offering him some extra work in CID, Mark invites Calvin on something he's got planned later, and a grateful Calvin jumps at the chance. At home with Carmel, Calvin tells her about his chance of promotion as things look on the up for them.

An absent minded Cindy gets Holly ready for school, but she's more interested in entering a competition on the TV and fails to acknowledge that Holly's finishing half day today. Mandy's guilt is growing about her affair with Warren and she beseeches him to do something about it. Allaying her fears, Warren tells her he needs a bit more time to sort things financially, but they will leave forever. Back at the flat, a bored Cindy tries on Louise's wedding dress. Approving of the design, she's prancing round, mid pose when Mandy and Louise arrive. Attempting to hide, not only is Cindy caught red handed, but she also manages to spill red wine all over the dress. Understandably, Louise explodes in a fit of rage and Cindy makes her escape...

Leila's thrilled with Justin's Christmas tree and enlists his help in taking it back to Halls. On the way they run into Archie, who is in the process of hiding from his latest conquest who appears to be stalking him. Leila's furious with Archie for ignoring the latest hapless victim of his charms and for decorating her tree with beer cans and ring pulls. Escaping her wrath, Archie and Justin head off to the pub, leaving a put upon Leila to fix the mess.

Tuesday 6 January On Channel 4

Malachy is concerned about Mercedes after she's received her HIV results. Malachy knows the rest of the McQueens will be out of their minds with worry and encourages Mercedes to return home and tell them the good news. Myra can't help feeling disdain for what Malachy's put her daughter through and tells Mercedes to leave him and get on with her life. Unbeknown to them, Malachy has overheard their conversation and is feeling guilty for putting Mercedes through the horror of the HIV scare. When Mercedes tries to get amorous with him he pulls away. Mercedes is crushed and heads to The Dog and finds Rhys as her unlikely confidante as she opens up about her marriage. Malachy's terrified she's going to leave him and punches Rhys when he sees them together, before telling Mercedes he's been stupid and he loves her.

Justin's trying to organise a party at the SU Bar tomorrow but he's annoyed when Kris and Zak mock his suggestions. As Archie sorts out a set list, Elliot's getting increasingly irritated by the levels of noise when he's trying to do his college work, and makes a complaint to the Dean to get it stopped. Everyone's gutted when the party's cancelled but Archie comes up with the perfect solution to enable it to go ahead - they're going to have a silent rave.

Archie and Sarah are having some fun but Zoe thinks he's using her when she returns home and finds out they've slept together. She's annoyed with her brother, but Archie's not the slightest bit interested what she thinks. Sarah joins Archie in the SU Bar for a drink but is completely oblivious to the fact he has been sat with his mates comparing her performance in the bedroom against other girls in his little black book. Zoe tries to warn Sarah off her brother, knowing he's no good for her, but Sarah's clearly smitten and not willing to take her advice. Zoe's furious when she finds out about Archie's book and frustrated by her brother's complete lack of respect for women.

Josh feels foolish for rushing Amy to hospital and takes her out to MOBS for a treat. Amy's not in the mood but she can see how desperate he is to make it up to her and agrees. Josh is embarrassed once again when Amy starts to cry as the other customers look on. Amy knows she's just hormonal but can't help feeling alone knowing Josh is going away to Uni and her Dad's leaving her to go travelling round the world. Josh tries to be upbeat and think on the positive side but Amy can't control her emotions. However, when Josh asks Amy to move to university with him she's thrilled.


Wednesday 7 January - On Channel 4

Zoe and Mike are excited as they plan their trip around Europe, but Sarah doesn't share their excitement and is sick of seeing them all over one another. Sarah and Zoe head down to the silent rave at the SU Bar, but Sarah struggles to listen to everyone telling Zoe how much they're going to miss her. The girls call a truce when Zoe admits she just wants her mate back. However, Sarah's soon distracted when she spots Archie with a girl in tow and rushes off to the toilet in tears. Zoe tries to comfort her friend, but Sarah's too upset and admits that since they spent the night together it's made her question everything, unaware that Kris is in the toilet cubicle listening in. Kris is bursting with gossip as he makes his way over to Nancy to see if she knew, but as he blurts out the words 'Sarah and Zoe have had sex', they're suddenly very aware that Mike has heard every word.

Josh wishes he knew what to do to make Amy happy, but he doesn't stand a chance with her hormonal mood swings. Amy's convinced he's going to leave her as soon as someone better comes along and nothing Josh says can convince her otherwise. After a failed attempt to cheer her up, Josh decides to ask Amy to marry him, but wants to get Mike's permission first. A nervous Josh makes himself presentable and goes to see Mike but loses his nerve. After a number of failed attempts, Josh finally plucks up to the courage to ask Mike for his daughter's hand in marriage but is crushed when Mike says no.

Michaela and Zak try to deny their feelings for each other but they can't help going back for more, finding each other irresistible. Seeing a money making opportunity they decide to sell Jacqui's knock off MP3s at the silent rave at the SU Bar. Zak feels a little guilty undercutting his mate but Michaela's not letting him back out now. They're delighted with their profits and join in the fun but Archie's suspicious and people are starting to realise that something's not quite right with the MP3s they've been sold. Zak and Michaela make a quick exit when they realise Kris is onto them.

Justin sets up the SU Bar for the silent rave, hoping that the Dean doesn't find out after forcing them to cancel. Archie's bought a load of MP3s to sell to earn himself a bit of cash, oblivious to the fact that Zak and Michaela are undercutting him with Jacqui's stash of knock offs. The night's a big hit and Justin's thrilled when he's promoted to bar manager.

Thursday 8 January - On Channel 4

Mike's world has been blown apart following Kris' bombshell that his girlfriend and his daughter have slept together. Sarah and Zoe are desperate to explain but he doesn't want to hear it and the girls turn on each other in desperation. Mike tries to make sense of what's happened but is hurt as he thinks about their sordid affair. The argument escalates as the accusations fly with both Mike and Sarah saying hurtful things to each other as Sarah flees the room in tears. Mike questions why Zoe she did it, unable to understand why anyone would do that to someone they love. A confused Mike goes out for some air, leaving Sarah and Zoe to talk about their feelings for each other and work out where they go from here. It makes Zoe realise just how much she loves Mike but is it too late? Having spent the night thinking things through, Mike throws a shell-shocked Sarah and Zoe out of the house.

Josh asks Amy to marry him. Although Mike didn't give his permission, Josh decides he's still going to ask her but, once again, it's proving difficult. Josh takes Amy to The Dog after closing and sets the mood for romance but Amy has no idea what he's got planned and can only think about what's she's missing on television. Josh finally wins her round as they dance in the deserted pub, but as he plucks up the courage to ask her the question, the mood's broken when Suzanne arrives wondering what the hell is going on. Amy's distraught after overhearing Suzanne telling Josh that she's not good enough for him. However, Josh finally plucks up the courage to propose and is thrilled when an overjoyed Amy says yes.

After the revelation of Sarah and Zoe's affair, Kris is worried his life is in danger of being dull in comparison. After telling a shocked Russ and Ravi the news, Kris insists they need to do something flamboyant to get his life back on track, but they struggle to come up with anything. Nancy decides to make cocktails and as the drink flows everyone's having fun - except Kris. But is Kris' life about to get a little more exciting when both Nancy and Ravi start flirting with him?

Justin and Leila are full of excitement after the success of the silent rave and Justin's delighted with his new managerial position. Eager to put his own mark on the bar, Justin's bursting with ideas for his next party for the SU and the changes he's going to make to the bar.

Friday 9 January - On Channel 4

Kris sees Nancy and Ravi in a different light after they flirted with him the previous night. However, their happy morning breakfast is ruined when an upset Sarah arrives. When Ravi leaves for work, Kris questions their relationship but before he gets any answers, Sarah interrupts in need of some TLC. Nancy manages to cheer her friend up and offers her somewhere to stay until she can sort things out. Ravi comes to the radio station and can't help eyeing up Kris' backside, but claims he's after some advertising for The Loft. Kris takes a bottle of wine round to cheer Sarah up at Nancy's, but Sarah's gone to bed. Kris and Nancy decide to make the most of it and finally give into each other with a passionate kiss.

Michaela jumps to conclusions when she hears that Mike and Zoe have split up, and is convinced she's the only one who can console Mike. However, Michaela's the last person Mike needs right now, as the enormity of the situation sinks in. When she finds out that Sarah and Zoe slept together she's off like a shot, realising that she's left Zak alone with Zoe in the halls. Meanwhile, with nowhere else to go, Zoe turns to Zak for somewhere to stay and confides in him about her feelings for Mike. Michaela's convinced Zoe's making a move on Zak when she bursts into halls and finds her half naked. Michaela launches herself at Zoe as a catfight ensues.

Dominic returns home from Mexico and seeing how untidy Ste and Justin have left the flat in, decides it's time to move out. Needing his peace and quiet and a clean house, Dom moves back to Tony's flat but it's not the same now that his brother's gone and he soon feels really alone. Justin feels sorry for Ste when he discovers it's his birthday and asks Dom to celebrate with them - after all they're the only people he's got. Dominic gives in and heads back to join the boys for the evening but it looks like the tables have turned as a new and improved Dom sits in the squalor playing computer games as the boys tidy up around him.

Amy and Josh are full of excitement as they tell Mike the news of their engagement, but are confused when he doesn't react. Amy's disgusted when he tells them about Sarah and Zoe's fling and heads straight round to confront Sarah. Before Sarah has the chance to say anything Amy deals her a slap in the face. Nancy leaves the sisters to talk but Amy's too wound up to listen and tells Sarah exactly what she thinks of her. Josh makes Amy forget all her family troubles for a while when he reminds her they're going to get married and all they need is each other.
