    Now it's Doctor her

    From The Sun:

THE next Doctor Who will be a WOMAN, according to an insider.

BBC chiefs may even pick an ethnic doctor to take over from David Tennant in the New Year.

Comic Catherine Tate and Goodness Gracious Me's Meera Syal are in the frame to be the first Time Lady in the show's history. A show source said: "The BBC really wants to shake things up. There is no reason story-line wise why the Doctor cannot be a woman and from any ethnic background. The Doctor has morphed before and will do so again."

    ---------

Well I don't see it being Catherine Tate, just as I don't see it being Billie Piper; if this is true.

Personally, I don't like the thought of a female doctor.

I also don't like the look of David Morrissey after seeing the trailers for the Xmas special, but I'm willing to wait till the episode itself, before passing final judgment.

I don't like Patterson Joseph for it either - sorry. Just haven't really rated him in anything I've seen him in.

I like the thought of Callum Blue though, like Abi suggested a while ago. I've seen him in quite a few shows, and he'd be new, fresh and is a talented young actor (although he is my age )
