I don't know I just read in the paper that he was getting paid £500,000 to come back.

i'm sure i read this on digital spy... he's also still doing ITV's Ultimate Force aswell... the BBC got him back with the 500,000 contract and have also let him pursuit 'outside' projects...

From the way i read it he said he realises they may kill off grant,which he said he's not to worried about cos this is soap and things can be reversed,which is true as long as the bodys not seen going into the coffin like auther,mark,ethel etc,i suppose it depends on the way he's killed,if the bodys seen and found and recognised then buried well then there's no return,but somehow i dont think ee would do it that way,their more likley to leave the element of doubt there even if it's only a small element as in the case of den,steve owen even cindy ,angie was a possible to untill sharon told den on his return that she'd witnessed the death so it couldn't be put down to a hospital mix up.

I don't think he dies, but if they have to kill him off as a ratings boost, he has said he'd be fine with that.

He'll be filming for 2 weeks in August but they film 2 weeks worth of episodes in one session so he'll be on-screen for atleast a while.
Then they have offered him the chance to go and film for 4 months in '06. Well he's available anyways so I'm kind of hoping he won't be killed off and will go and do 4 months in 2006.
