The ultimate sad peice of music is Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber (not the dance version).

The below version was performed during the last night of the Proms just after 9/11 happened. A stark contrast to what the Proms are usually like.

Another one is Hymn to the Sea by James Horner. Written for the Titanic movie.

A Hundred Thousand Angels by Bliss, we used it drama for emotional recall. Its is quite sad, but you could also try there album its got some other 'music' songs on.

There is a classical music track that's quite dramatic and emotional. It was in the Tom Hanks film Philidelphia. It was played near the end when he was with Denzil Washington and he was walking around the room with the intraveous drip. Sorry but I can't remember what its called.

Thanks to Vicky for my great new banner xxx
