I think he has always been in the shadow of his brother and now tries to manipulate everyone. He must get a power kick out of it. I really hate his behaviour.

I totally agree with U DG..Archie has been manipulating every one in his path, or at least every one who allows themselves to be controlled by this horrible person.

    Detailed Spoliers 17 Nov - 21 Nov 08

    Roxy goes into premature labour
Airs on Monday, November 17 2008 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

Unbeknown to Sean, Archie's calling an ambulance for Roxy who's gone into labour. She's screaming out for Sean, while Peggy goes in search of Ronnie. As the ambulance arrives, Roxy refuses to leave without Sean, but Archie's tells her that she has to go to the hospital for the sake of her baby - he'll find Sean for her. As they enter the delivery room, Ronnie's cradling Roxy and vents her anger at Sean letting her down. As the midwife asks everyone to leave the room, Archie encourages Ronnie to stay. As Roxy pushes, she fears for her baby's health when the midwife tells her that they'll need a paediatrician as soon as possible.

While Stacey tries to get Sean to see reason in the club, Roxy's in severe pain and soon begins to apologise for her past. With Jack playing on her mind, she's about to say something when the midwife announces that she can see the baby's head and asks Roxy to stop pushing. The baby soon arrives and the room falls silent as Dr. Mackie begins his attempts at resuscitating the newborn. Soon, a faint cry fills the room, prompting a hoard of doctors to surround Roxy's daughter.

The newborn is transferred to the neonatal unit, just as Christian arrives and takes a broken Roxy in his arms. Roxy's also handed a photo of her child before she falls asleep. A worn-out Roxy soon wakes from her sleep and struggles out of bed in a frantic search of her baby, while Sean hears that Roxy's in labour. Sean charges into the hospital and finds Ronnie looking at the picture of her new niece. Roxy, meanwhile, is motioned into a room by Dr Mackie and holds one her daughter's tiny hands with tears rolling down her face. When Roxy sees Sean, she hesitantly tells him that she wants nothing more to do with him. Archie watches on with a sense of satisfaction.

Elsewhere, Christian explains his relationship with his mother to Lucy. Jane walks in and is surprised to see a load of boxes belonging to their mum and realises that she's left their father. Linda's seemingly uncomfortable around her son, while Jane tries to call her father. Linda, however, reveals that this time, he left her. Jane comforts her mother as she recalls her father's affair with a nurse and hesitantly suggests that she stay around. Later in the café, Christian's happy when he hears that Linda's leaving, but Peter reminds him that it he had the chance to see Cindy again, he'd jump at it. As Linda's about to leave, Christian grabs her suitcase and tells her that he's sent the taxi away - she can stay.

Mo has strong words with Sean
Airs on Tuesday, November 18 2008 at 19:30 GMT on BBC One

Roxy's looking longingly at her baby daughter and remarks to the nurse how much better she's looking. The nurse tells her that she has a visitor and she's evidently disappointed when she turns to find Archie, not Sean. Meanwhile, on the Square, Stacey and Mo find Sean sat at the kitchen table and urge him to do the right thing and go to the hospital to see Roxy and the baby. Roxy explains to her dad that she feels Sean has let her down so much. Archie reassures her that she's better off without him. Stacey bumps into Ronnie in the café and tells her that Sean's in pieces. Ronnie promises to have a word with her sister. Outside, Archie sees Sean and suggests that he just slips away quietly and no one will notice.

Later, Ronnie suggests that Roxy move in with her for a while, but Christian interrupts them. At The Vic, Sean's in the baby's nursery and looks like he's about to smash the baby's cot. However, he crumples to the floor in floods of tears. Roxy becomes irritated by Peggy's fussing over flowers and snaps at her – it's up to Archie to calm down an upset Peggy. Christian arrives and Roxy confides in him that it would be a lot easier if the baby was his. Christian, however, promises he'll find Sean.

Roxy becomes defensive when Archie and Peggy push her for a name for her daughter – she's adamant they think that her baby won't make it. After hearing what Sean has to say, Christian tells him exactly what he thinks of him. On returning to the hospital, Christian tells Roxy that he has no luck with Sean, but resolves to be there for his best friend. On the Square, Mo has strong words with Sean – it seems to be sinking in. Just as Roxy announces to her family that she and Christian are going to bring up the baby, Sean had walked in and heard everything. He heads for the door, dropping the present he had bought on the way.

Elsewhere, Linda discovers Christian's 'special box'; Tony reprimands Whitney for her behaviour the other night; Vinnie returns from Southend; Shirley and Suzy continue to wind each other up; Suzy goes to see Jack to see how he's coping but wishes she hadn't; Jane pleads with Linda to go easy on Christian; Callum offers to take Stacey to the hospital; Jack hears about Roxy's baby's condition; Callum tells Shirley that Vinnie has a new girlfriend; Whitney surprises Tony with a picnic; and Vinnie panics when Callum reveals that he's called his dad's new girlfriend, Daphne - she's coming to Walford!

Bradley drops a bombshell on Max
Airs on Friday, November 21 2008 at 20:00 GMT on BBC One

Christian stares with a satisfied smile at the cot he's built for baby Amy. Linda, however, isn't impressed by his intentions. She questions whether he actually knows what brining up a child entails, but Christian is adamant – whatever he does for baby Amy will be a lot better than his own upbringing. When Roxy turns up at the flat, Chrisitian's excited to show her the cot he's built, but Roxy has other things on her mind. She reluctantly tells him that she's back together with Sean but realises how much he was prepared to give up for her. As she leaves, Christian is visibly heartbroken and won't let Linda comfort him.

As Roxy and Sean sit next to baby Amy, Sean tells his wife how much this all means to him. It's at that point that Roxy suggests they change Amy's surname to Slater. At Christian's flat, Linda walks in on him in a clinch with Sebastian and she's not happy. Linda announces that she's going to pack her things, but Christian quickly asks Sebastian to leave.

Meanwhile, Max lies awake in his hospital bed after being woken from his coma. He has so much on his mind. Abi's excited by the news that her dad has woken up and wants to see him. Lauren, meanwhile, is a little less enthusiastic. With Max sitting up in bed, he turns on the Branning charm and asks the nurse to help him make a phone call. Calling Bradley, he leaves him a voicemail pleading that he visits. On the Square, Bradley and Jack speculate as to the state of Max's mind and wonder what he remembers from the accident. He suggests that Bradley tell Max what Tanya's done. At the hospital, Bradley edges into Max's room.

Max apologises to Bradley for his actions before the accident and claims that it's been the wake up call he's needed for a long while to put things right with his son. Still resentful, he tells Max that he wished he never woke up, before walking out. However, after a change of heart, Bradley walks back on to the ward and puts a blanket around his dad to make him more comfortable. As Max thanks Bradley for reconsidering, Bradley drops a bombshell and tells Max that it was Tanya who tried to kill him. Max is shell-shocked.

Elsewhere, Whitney quizzes Bianca as to her whereabouts last night; Tanya's finding prison life difficult, while her cell mate Nina tries to reassure her that everything will be OK; Bianca meets with a guy called Jonas; Nina suggests that Tanya still loves Max; Shirley goes to Booty for her free day of treatments; and Whitney's jealous when Tony invites Lauren over for tea.
