RICHARD and Judy’s racy daughter Chloe Madeley is being lined up for Dancing On Ice.

The 21-year-old blonde, who recently posed in sexy lingerie for a men’s magazine, has told bosses she is keen to take part.

A friend said: “Chloe wants to forge a career as a TV presenter, and a show like this could be a great platform.

She’s sexy, sassy and very athletic so she should be able to wow the male viewers and judges.”

Other stars tipped for the 2009 series include The Cheeky Girls and Hollyoaks beauty Jennifer Metcalfe, 24, who plays Mercedes.

Skinny Col has her ice on the prize

ITV chiefs are already hunting for celebrities to star in Dancing On Ice 2009 — and Coleen Nolan is the first in the frame.
The Loose Women star, 43, is being lined up after shedding a massive four stone recently.

Pals say she is desperate to show off her slimline body on the rink.

One said: “Coleen is so proud of her new figure and reckons Dancing On Ice will be the perfect place to show it off.

“She’s already really fit from exercising.”

Dancing On Ice, which sees celebs compete on the rink, returns in the New Year.

FORMER Blue Peter babe Zoe Salmon has double cause for celebration this week.

The 28-year-old blonde has landed a big-money deal to star in Dancing On Ice in the same week the kids’ show marks its 50th anniversary.

A former Miss Northern Ireland, Zoe will be up against Daily Star discovery Melinda Messenger, 37, on the ITV reality show.

Last night a source said: “Male viewers are in for a treat with two of Britain’s hottest blondes together on screen battling it out.

“Zoe’s been looking to get back into the spotlight since she left Blue Peter in June and Dancing On Ice is the perfect place to return to the public eye.”

Among the lucky fellas dancing against the girls are ex-EastEnder Todd Carty, 45, rugby legend Ellery Hanley, 47, and Ray Quinn, 20, the X Factor runner-up in 2006.

Chloe Madeley to go Dancing on Ice 2009

Chloe Madeley is aiming to step out of the shadows of her famous parents Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan and become a celebrity in her own right.
The 21-year-old budding TV presenter, who has become well known for her attention-grabbing outfits in the company of her parents, is set to star in new series of Dancing On Ice, which starts in January.
The young blonde has been training for the popular Saturday night show at London's Alexandra Palace rink for the last few weeks.

A source told Star magazine: 'Chloe was really up for taking part in the show and has been having a lot of fun in training.
'It's not always easy but she is giving it a good go and hoping the public will get to know her in her own right when the show starts.'
Chloe is currently trying to forge a career as a TV presenter, but admits her parents' fame hasn't always helped.
She told FHM earlier this year: 'I have to work twice as hard to prove I'm able to do the job for a reason beyond my family name.'

Also tipped to star in the new series is ex-EastEnders Todd Carty, Holby City star Jeremy Edwards and former Toploader guitarist Dan Hipgrave, who were photographed practising their moves at the weekend.

Former EastEnders star Todd Carty looked less than stable as he took to the ice for his first rehearsal for the new Dancing On Ice series.
An unsteady-looking Todd held on tight to his female instructor's hands as he wobbled around the ice on his skates.

Clearly not a natural on the ice, Todd could barely skate without gripping his instructor, and has a lot of work to do ahead of his appearance on the ice-dancing show which begins in just two months time.

The star, who played Walford's Mark Fowler, was seen at Alexandra Palace ice rink in north London alongside rival contestants, ex-Holby City actor Jeremy Edwards, 37, and Toploader guitarist Dan Hipgrave, 33.

Edwards - whose ex-fiancée Rachel Stevens is currently starring on Strictly Come Dancing - has previously starred in Celebrity Big Brother.

A source told The Sunday People said: 'They were all trying hard and it was fun to watch. But they've a long way to go to avoid icy stares from the judges.'

The trio are set to be joined by Blue Peter's Zoe Salmon, 28, glamour model Melinda Messenger, 37, rugby hero Ellery Hanley, 47, and 2006 X Factor runner-up Ray Quinn, 20, in the ITV1show which returns in January.

This year's winner, ex-Hear'Say singer Suzanne Shaw, 27, will return for a Dancing On Ice Christmas special edition to show the newbies just how it's done.

Gemma Bissix has been lined up to replace Jennifer Metcalfe on Dancing On Ice, say reports.

The former Hollyoaks and EastEnders actress is "clearing her schedule" for the reality show, according to the Daily Star.

"She is expected to sign any day now," said a source. "She is a massive scoop for ITV.

"Not only is she a huge star, she's also a stunning girl who will bring much-needed glamour to the ice."

Michael Underwood, who pulled out of last year's show after breaking his ankle, is also expected to star.

It was reported last month that Todd Carty, Chloe Madeley, Melinda Messenger, Jeremy Edwards and Ray Quinn would take part in the programme.

MEET the spin crowd— the complete line-up of stars who will be competing in Dancing On Ice 2009.

The great and the good from TV, music and sport didn’t think tw-ice when they were asked to get their skates on and kick up a stink on the rink in ITV1’s coolest January show.

And because we NEVER let the slide down, the News of the World has the names of all 12 skaters and the one standby chosen for the new series.

Last year the winner was Hollyoaks star Chris Fountain, 21. And the blokes who hope to follow in his footsteps this year are: EastEnders legend TODD CARTY, 45; soccer pundit GRAEME LE SAUX, 40 (pictured above); Holby City heart-throb JEREMY EDWARDS, 37; X Factor runner-up RAY QUINN, 20; Toploader guitarist DAN HIPGRAVE, 33; Rugby League legend ELLERY HANLEY, 47; and kids’ TV presenter MICHAEL UNDERWOOD, 33. Michael is being given a second go after a broken ankle forced him out of last year’s show.

And the babes who’ll be hoping to put the skids under the blokes are: Emmerdale stunner ROXANNE PALLETT, 25; Hollyoaks star JENNIFER METCALFE, 24; model and presenter MELINDA MESSENGER, 37; Enders girl GEMMA BISSIX, 25 (pictured above); former Blue Peter presenter ZOE SALMON, 28 (pictured above) and Liberty X singer JESSICA TAYLOR, 28

It hasn’t been announced yet which of the 13 is the standby. An ITV insider said: “We think the stars we have secured for this series will make it the best ever.

“It’s really not difficult getting people to sign up—in fact, we’ve had to say no to a lot of lesser lights.

“The only issue is whether the contestants can fit training into their packed schedules — but they always seem to manage and absolutely love doing it.”

The celebs are paired with pro ice dancers and coached by champs Jane Torville and Christopher Dean to perform weekly routines. They will then be judged by an “Ice Panel” of experts and the public, with one celeb voted off every week.

Holly Willoughby will return with co-presenter Phillip Schofield even though she is pregnant. Our insider added: “There are some good-looking blokes for the ladies watching and every single one of the women is gorgeous, which should get the men tuning in.

“And an awful lot of this year’s contestants have previous dancing experience—which always helps make it a better spectacle.”

Big-hearted show bosses were happy to give Michael another chance. The insider said: “It was only fair — he was so disappointed last year when he broke his ankle. He looked promising and reckons this could be his year.”
