    2366: Jacqui catches Tina breastfeeding baby Max
    Airs on Monday, August 18 2008 at 18:30 BST on Channel 4



    Jacqui revels in her role as mother to baby Max. Meanwhile, Dom and Tina struggle to cope with living at the McQueens' as she's fed up of the noise and mess. When Dom suggests to Tina that they find a place of their own, Tina is thrilled at the idea and Dom decides to put the wheels in motion. Telling Tony of his plan to find him and Tina a new home, Tony's happy for his brother and Jacqui notes that Tina seems to have finally come to her senses over baby Max. Entrusting Tina to look after the baby for the day, Jacqui hands Max over.

    As Jacqui, Tony and Dom run a busy Il Gnosh, Tina reluctantly takes Max upstairs, uncertain that she'll be able to cope as Max begins to cry. Tina tries her best to comfort him, but when he continues to bawl, her mothering instinct takes over and she unbuttons her shirt. Unaware of Tina's actions, Jacqui and Dom burst through the door to find Tina breastfeeding baby Max. Shocked and horrified, Jacqui tells Tina to get away from her baby.

    Calvin begins to crumble as he is haunted by memories of killing Nige. Reaching breaking point, Calvin finds himself snapping at Carmel. Warren notes Calvin's dilemma and seeks him out to give him some advice. Warren notes that Calvin needs to calm down and put things in to perspective or he's in danger of ruining his career and wedding plans. Close to revealing his secret to Carmel, Calvin is unable to confide in her and instead apologises for treating her so badly. With his love for Carmel reignited and a new resolve to try and forget about killing Nige, Calvin heads off to work when he's cornered by Warren. Glad to see Calvin has managed to pull himself together, Warren reveals he now needs help burying Nige's body. Calvin's stunned as Warren suggests the sooner they get rid of the evidence, the better…

    Leila returns from her night in the cells a little dishevelled. Justin apologises for letting her take the blame but Ste's more bothered about the stolen jewellery. Leila informs him that it's been confiscated and she was let off with a caution. Ste fumes as he worries about where they're going to find Neville's rent money from. At Drive 'N' Buy, Gilly refuses to give the boys more time, and explains that he needs the overdue rent money by the end of the day. Stuck for ideas of how to make some cash, Ste suggests they busk, but when that doesn't work, the boys resign themselves to the fact they're going to be homeless. At The Dog, Ste wins on the fruit machine, but they're still short for the rent, until Leila, feeling sorry for the boys, pitches in with the rest. A grateful Justin thanks Leila, but she misreads the signals and launches in for a kiss. Justin recoils and a humiliated Leila flees, much to Ste's amusement.

    Nancy's day goes from bad to worse when her washing machine breaks and she's late for work. Ravi enjoys the banter but Nancy doesn't see the funny side. Feeling bad, Ravi turns up at Nancy's flat ready to fix the washing machine. Nancy lets him in and as the couple spar off each other, they come very close to another romantic clinch, but neither has the guts to take it further.


    2367: Tony hands baby Max back to Tina
    Airs on Tuesday, August 19 2008 at 18:30 BST on Channel 4


    Tina tells Jacqui she wants to keep baby Max. Jacqui's furious with Tina for secretly breast feeding Max and wants her out of their lives, while Dom remains unsure about how he feels. Myra calls a family meeting to discuss the crisis, and Jacqui's sure the rest of her family will agree with her that Tina is in the wrong. Myra warns the girls that if they keep fighting amongst themselves, they may have Social Services to deal with.

    Meanwhile, Tony and Dom discuss the future of baby Max and make a heartbreaking decision that's best for the baby. Tony and Dom head round to the McQueens' where Jacqui is holding court. Jacqui's pleased that Tony has arrived, sure that he'll take her side, but Tony drops a bombshell when he announces that, as Max's father, he's decided that the baby should be with his real mum - Tina.

    Nancy mopes about the flat mooning over her missed opportunity with Ravi. Russ is sure Nancy's up to something when she insists he take her to the Loft for a drink. Russ obliges, but is intrigued when she seems to be flirting with him. Russ catches on to Nancy's plan to make Ravi jealous and insists that she just tell him how she feels. As Nancy plucks up the courage, she's floored when Ravi apologises about yesterday, insisting he didn't know Russ was her boyfriend. Nancy wobbles and beats a hasty retreat.

    Revealing to Russ that she can't understand why Ravi would even fancy her in the first place, Russ decides to help her out and finds Ravi to explain. Ravi enjoys winding Nancy up, takes a chance and kisses her on the lips. Nancy pulls away at first but decides this time she's not letting Ravi go - and invites him back to the flat…

    Kris and Zoe bicker over ideas for the student TV channel. When Steph dismisses the duo as mere amateurs, Kris offers her the chance to appear herself. Steph fumes at Kris' insensitivity so soon after her husband has died, but is eventually unable to resist the lure of fame and showbiz once again. Zoe warns Kris that Steph will make a mockery of the whole channel, but Kris is willing to take the risk. Zoe's unimpressed by Steph's presenting style, but Kris thinks they'll corner the niche market. But while Director and Producer confer, Steph catches sight of herself on the playback and feels guilty and foolish that she's enjoyed herself. Explaining to Mandy her worries about forgetting Max, Mandy buoys Steph up and insists that the sooner she gets back to her old self the better.

    Louise struggles to cope with Carmel's wedding deliveries at Evissa. Mandy arrives just in the nick of time as Louise begins to lose custom. Regretting ever letting Carmel use Evissa as a base for her wedding preparations, Mandy suddenly hits on an idea about a new Wedding Planner business. Louise agrees to the proposition and toasts her new partnership with Mandy.


    2368: Steph has an epileptic fit

    Steph relishes in her role as weather reporter for the student TV channel. Kris dismisses Zoe's concerns and continues to prepare for the live show. Steph encourages Tom to help her on set and Tom jumps at the chance while Zoe becomes further irked that Steph is taking no direction whatsoever.

    After various costume changes, Steph ends up fighting with Zoe and walks off set. Kris fumes while Steph wonders to Tom what Max would think of her now. Tom assures her he'd think she was great. Buoyed by Tom's words, Steph returns to set much to Kris' relief. Zoe manages to keep quiet as the camera rolls and Steph gives the performance of a lifetime - but her fame is short lived as the thunder claps above her and lightening crashes to the ground, causing Steph to have an epileptic fit…

    Jacqui fumes over Tony's decision to let Tina keep Max. Tony tries to make her understand that Max is better off with Tina, but Jacqui storms round to the McQueens' intent on having her say. Dom defends Tina, asserting that Max will be looked after. Jacqui comes close to revealing the truth about Russ but when Dom explains how he would never take Tony's role as father away from him, Jacqui bites her tongue, unable to crush Tony's dream.

    Back at the flat, Jacqui breaks down and eventually lets Tony comfort her. But while Tony is out, Jacqui packs her bags unable to cope with his betrayal, and heads back home to the McQueens' to live. Tony's stunned at Jacqui's decision to move out, but she informs Tony there's no way she can live without her baby. Tony leaves, fearful that he and Jacqui are over…

    Nancy's awkward as she wakes up with Ravi, neither knowing what last night meant. Nancy attempts to keep things light and suggests they head to the Dog for a drink, unsure what else Ravi would like to do. At The Dog, Nancy is lumbered with Charlie for the day and Ravi's not sure how to react. Misreading each other, Nancy thinks Ravi doesn't want to hang around a baby and he thinks she doesn't want him around getting in the way - so they part company. Later, as a solitary Nancy returns to the flat, she's surprised to find Ravi waiting for her with some dinner. Elated that he's arrived and determined to start again, Nancy and Ravi return to the bedroom…

    Amy suggests she and Josh spend the day together, just like old times. Josh agrees, but an over-enthusiastic Michaela joins them. At the park, Josh, Amy and Michaela enjoy some sunshine until Sasha arrives and Michaela and Amy instantly dismiss her. Josh feels for Sasha and invites her to join them much to the girls' annoyance. Michaela gradually becomes more irritated by Sasha's presence as Amy slowly begins to warm to her. Fed up, Michaela can't help but tell Sasha how angry she is with her and how she thought Sasha was going to die because of her heroin use. Sasha understands and the old friends decide to put the past behind them and look forward to their future…


    2369: Sasha's shocked to see Fletch

    It's the day of the Amy's GCSE results. Amy's concerned she won't make the grade after what she's been through this year. Michaela's confident Amy will be fine and she and Sasha offer to accompany her to school. As Amy discovers she's passed with flying colours, Sasha reveals she was too nervous to open her AS level results last week. The girls encourage her to do it today. Sasha gets the results she expected, but Amy and Michaela are just glad they have their old friend back.

    As the girls prepare to go home, Sasha is shocked when a dishevelled Fletch arrives at the school. Fletch manages to convince Sasha to spend some time with him, and she reluctantly gives in. Sasha believes Fletch when he says he hasn't done heroin for a while and begs her to help him, but she soon realises he's lying. Sasha desperately pleads with Fletch to sort his life out but he runs away, stealing her bag and leaving her broken…

    Tony dwells on his beak up with Jacqui, while a petulant Jacqui continues to make life unbearable for Tina at the McQueens'. Dom visits his brother to check he's all right and confesses he's finding it hard to bond with baby Max, but he's trying his best for the sake of his relationship. Striking a chord, Tony heads round to the McQueens' to speak to Jacqui. Meanwhile, Myra tries to resolve Jacqui's anger with little effect until Tony arrives. Jacqui's instantly angry with Tony but struggles to contain her upset. Finally understanding that Tony had to give Max to Tina for his own good, Jacqui accepts her dream is over and decides to move back in with Tony.

    Louise drowns under the weight of Mandy's wedding business. Struggling to keep up with Mandy's demands, Louise begins to feel a little inadequate. When Mandy suggests Louise model a wedding dress to publicise the business, Louise hesitantly agrees, but as Mandy goes to unzip the dress, Louise becomes stuck. Mandy hurries off to pick up Ella realising she's late and leaves Louise to fend for herself.

    When Mandy returns, Louise becomes annoyed at Mandy's flightiness and wonders why she's placing so much importance on the business. Mandy confesses that she's feeling a bit lost and needs some direction. Seeing Mandy's insecurities resurface, Louise promises her friend that they'll be a successful team together.

    Niall offers to take Tom to the park for the day. Steph is slightly wary but agrees, much to Cindy's annoyance. A jubilant Tom heads off with Niall, while Cindy accuses Steph of forgetting about Max. Steph defends her actions but Cindy is horrified that she's let Tom go off with the man who killed Max. Steph is pulled up and begins to regret letting Tom go. Meanwhile, as Tom remembers the games he used to play with Max, a guilty Niall confesses he's sorry for the accident. Tom forgives him, remembering that Max told him accidents can happen. Returning to the Village, however, Steph thanks him but Niall senses that he should steer clear for a while.



    As Ravi gives his opinion, Nancy arrives back and accuses him of interfering. Ravi asserts that he was just telling her friends how proud he was of her. Nancy relents, apologises for over-reacting and thanks Ravi for being supportive. Ravi's pleased that Nancy is finally able to move on with her life…
