    Spoilers 4th of August

    Monday, 4 August

Debbie (Charley Webb) offers Daz (Luke Tittensor) his job back, but as he can't start immediately, she is forced to ask the Dingles for repayment of Belle's (Eden Taylor-Draper) school fees to cover her mortgage. When Lisa (Jane Cox) can't comply, Debbie complains to Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) that Carl (Tom Lister) is going to claim the garage. She is fuming when Zak (Steve Halliwell) arrives back from a trip with money to burn, so he offers Debbie £1,500 with the promise of more to come. Seizing an opportunity, Debbie suggests Zak comes to work on the cabs and an eager Lisa quickly agrees on his behalf. Can Zak cope with the demands of his granddaughter?

Meanwhile, Sam (James Hooton) is delighted to receive a hug from Jo (Roxanne Pallett) and when Daz quizzes him on his mystery girl, Sam admits she likes him. Daz suggests he go for it and when Jo later invites him for a meal, Sam readily accepts. Showing off a new shirt he's bought for his 'date', Lisa is concerned for Sam. He denies that his mystery woman is Jo, but will Lisa convince Sam that he's heading for disaster?

Elsewhere, Jimmy (Nick Miles) complains about his dire love life, unaware that Matthew (Matt Healy) has arranged him a date with an admirer. They arrive home to find Roberta (Carol Holt) waiting and Matthew instructs her to satisfy his brother. Jimmy is unsure and his hesitance upsets Roberta, who collapses in tears. Jimmy comforts her and soon the pair are kissing. Has Jimmy finally found a woman to replace Kelly?

    Tuesday 5 August

Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) surprises Jo (Roxanne Pallett) by arriving home early from his break and she desperately tries to cancel her lunch with Sam (James Hooton). A crestfallen Sam convinces her to reconsider but she soon regrets it when the lovelorn admirer moves in for a kiss. Jo is horrified and does her best to put Sam in his place.

He makes a run for it just as an angry Andy arrives back from visiting Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) and he accuses Jo of blabbing to Sam behind his back. He deals out a furious beating to her and then goes in search of Sam, attacking him furiously. When the dust settles, the Dingles berate Sam for his pursuit of Jo, while Andy's attempts to apologise to his wife are received with scorn. Has Andy pushed his broken marriage too far?

Also, during a conversation about Debbie's (Charley Webb) poor finances, Jake (James Baxter) reveals that he and Daz (Luke Tittensor) stole the Kings' van and have a hefty loot to show for it. Jasmine's (Jenna-Louise Coleman) reservations about selling the Kings' goods are muted when Debbie informs her that it would save her putting up the rent. The three of them head to the crash site to strip the valuables. Will Jake's daring scheme bring the truth behind the crash to the Kings' attentions?

Meanwhile, the Kings debate between themselves where £20,000 worth of goods could have disappeared to. While they agree to keep their eye on anyone flashing the cash, the villagers are scheming themselves. Lily (Anne Charleston) sells a razor to Paddy (Dominic Brunt) but when questionned on the origin of the goods, she is forced to confess to Paddy and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) that it's from an abandoned van. Chas soon gets the Dingles on the case and they raid the van shortly after Jake, Debbie and Jasmine. How long before the Kings catch up with the culprits?

    Wednesday 6 August

Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) insists that a weary Jo (Roxanne Pallett) remains at home while he visits the Woolpack. Lying to Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) that she is hungover, Andy is unaware of Sam (James Hooton) whispering to Lisa (Jane Cox) that he is lying. As Andy leaves, Zak (Steve Halliwell) and warns him not to touch Sam again or risk the wrath of the Dingles. Despite his family's concerns, Sam goes to see Jo and she can't deny that Andy has hit her.

Sam is shocked and demands that Jo leaves Andy, but she refuses as it would mean leaving Sarah (Sophia Amber Moore). Despite his further concerns, Jo almost shoves Sam out of the door before Andy returns. Sam decides to visit Debbie (Charley Webb), but before he can explain the situation, Debbie has to leave. Returning to the Dingles, Sam is about to call the police before Zak (Steve Halliwell) intervenes. He warns Sam not to interfere, but will Sam allow his feelings for Jo to cloud his judgement?

Meanwhile, Daz (Luke Tittensor) decides to cheer Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) up by taking her to see the stash, but he's shocked to find most of it gone. Victoria is happy enough with a few items, but Daz is disturbed when she decides to sell it on. With more and more of their merchandise appearing in the village, the Kings try to establish the culprit, and Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) worries about her culpability. Throwing questionning glances at the pub regulars, Matthew (Matt Healy) warns them that he'll find the thief sooner or later. Which villager will be the first to crack?

    Thursday 7 August

Sam (James Hooton) defies logic once more and visits Jo (Roxanne Pallett), just in time to see her double up in pain while lifting sacks. He hurriedly takes her to the hospital where Jo lies about her injuries. Sam is angered when the doctor suspects broken ribs and he decides to tell the truth. The doctor immediately confronts Jo about the allegations and she betrays Sam by insisting he's got it wrong. When Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) arrives at the hospital, Sam makes a quick exit.

Later, Jo and Andy arrive home and his anger suddenly erupts into accusations about Jo's continuing association with Sam. Jo denies saying anything to the doctor but when Andy accuses Jo of lying she retorts by curtly telling him that she could tell the world if she wanted to hurt him. Andy is defeated and Jo heads out. Bumping into Sam, she admonishes him for interefering in her private life. Sam is crushed, but will he take the hint?

Also, Matthew (Matt Healy) suspects that Eli (Joseph Gilgun) and Debbie (Charley Webb) might be behind the van theft. The police question Debbie over the crime and she angrily confronts the Kings, who directly accuse her of hiding the thief. Her protests fall on deaf ears however, and they threaten to ask Carl (Tom Lister) to enforce the terms of their loan agreement unless Debbie becomes more cooperative. Will she be able to convince Daz (Luke Tittensor) and Jake (James Baxter) to turn in the van?

    Friday 8 August

The factory workers are upset when Pollard (Chris Chittell) gives them all duties at the launch, while he schmoozes with his guests. After the unveiling, Pearl (Meg Johnson) is confused to overhear Pollard telling McNally (Steven Farebrother) that he's advertising for a new workforce. Word spreads like wildfire and the workers decide to confront Pollard, who appeases them by saying he's looking to expand. However, Pollard drops the offhand comment that he'll be expecting them for their interviews and they realise they're reapplying for their own jobs. Can Pollard withstand a full scale rebellion?

Meanwhile, Anna (Emma Davies) decides to find Miles and criticises Donald (Michael Jayston) for not doing likewise. Carl (Tom Lister) interrupts them arguing and is confused by the rift. Drawing a blank at the police station, Anna returns home and launches into a further tirade at Donald. He counters by saying he'd done everything possible for his wayward son and Anna leaves in a huff. She joins Carl for a drink in the Woolpack, where the young King defends his father figure. Anna is amused and reveals that Donald has matchmaking plans for the two of them. Carl laughs it off, but have Anna's words planted a seed of doubt in his mind?

Elsewhere, Debbie (Charley Webb), Jake (James Baxter) and Daz (Luke Tittensor) spread word of a goods amnesty for the Kings' merchandise. Stealing Andy's (Kelvin Fletcher) tractor, they salvage the van itself and Debbie attempts to repair it. Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman), Jake and Daz set about reloading the goods and when all is done they leave the van outside Pear Tree. The Kings are astonished to find the van has returned, but will their curiosity lead to further investigation?
