i'm getting confused, i thought Max, Mandy and Tom's mom had died? making Tom an orphan?

Mandy's mum was Helen who was Tom's Mum. In the early hollyoaks days Mandy real dad sexually abused her and Mandy ran away as a teenager for a while she had a biological brother Lewis who died from and overdose.

Max's Dad was Mr Cunningham Tom's Dad who owned the shop and a driving school business. He married Helen and had Tom at the end of 1999.
