i dont think that sam will tell him how she feels untill something drastic happens shes to scared of getting hurt! I think she walked away bcos she didnt want to get in to the situation where shed have to admit anything she was absorbing what he was saying but making it into a bit of humour so that she didnt have to reveal anything about herself! although you could totally tell that she was bothered when she said i hope it works out the way you want it to!
