ROO Stewart is determined not to be the other woman in Sid Walker’s life after he breaks up with Marilyn Chambers.

The pair get it on before Sid tells Maz he can no longer continue with their relationship. So when Roo returns from Hawaii to discover what’s happened and Marilyn has moved back in with Miles Copeland, she fears being blamed for their break-up.

And when busybody Colleen Smart asks awkward questions about her relationship with Sid, the brunette is left trying to defend their dubious relationship.

An insider said: “Roo is the one that Sid wants but whether he gets her remains to be seen.

“Roo doesn’t like being the subject of local gossip and rumour especially when it concerns her wronging someone like Maz.”

Monday episode 5331 - 4/07/11

When Casey tells Brax he has nowhere else to go, Brax advises he return home and try to reason with Cheryl. But when Casey goes back home to find all his belongings still on the front lawn (from yesterday), he knows there is no way he can ever go back. It’s clear Cheryl won’t take him back unless he agrees to do what she wants, which includes giving up on school.

Brax attempts to mediate but Cheryl makes herself out as the victim. Brax is unsympathetic and protests that Casey deserves better. Cheryl is unapologetic and tells Brax he might as well stay away from the house as well. Meanwhile, Leah reaches out to Casey and offers him a spot on her couch until something more permanent arises.

Cheryl suspects there’s a meddling new girl behind Brax’s straight attitude and makes a call. Before long Tegan, Brax’s old flame, arrives in the Bay to find out who Brax’s new flame is.

Tuesday episode 5332 - 5/07/11

Charlie is jealous when Brax’s ex Tegan, arrives to get back together with Brax. Brax explains to Tegan that it’s over but she begins her own enquiries into why Brax won’t come back to her this time. When Tegan spots Charlie on the beach talking intimately with Brax, Tegan realises the truth and confronts Charlie – warning her secret’s not safe. Brax assures a fretful Charlie he’ll keep Tegan’s mouth shut; and does exactly that with a cool threat that sends Tegan on her way out of the Bay.

After returning from Hawaii, Sid has been distant towards Marilyn. He wants to talk but Marilyn is desperately avoiding the conversation for fear of what it might mean for their relationship. However, when Sid finally sits Marilyn down her fears are confirmed and he breaks up with her. Marilyn packs her bags and leaves – moving back into Summer Bay House.

Casey has since left Cheryl’s place and after spending a couple nights at Leah’s house with Ruby, moves into a motel with Brax.

Wednesday episode 5333 - 6/07/11

Roo returns from Hawaii to news of Sid’s break up with Marilyn, wondering if this has anything to do with her. Marilyn, feeling guilty about leaving Sid’s place before explaining the situation to the kids, Romeo and Indi reveal they want to move in with Roo to give everyone space – including Sid and Marilyn. But when Indi discovers Sid and Marilyn split she feels terrible for them. But Sid assures her it’s for the best.

In light of his kiss with April, Dex tries to convince her to tell Xavier. Meanwhile, Xavier, assuming April’s avoidance of him is study-related, plans a schoolies trip for his girlfriend in an attempt to take her mind off the HSC. Gina is less excited than Xavier about the idea and tries to thwart it but Xavier is persistent and excitedly breaks the surprise to April. However, April simply replies by breaking up with Xavier. When Xavier calls on Dex for some moral support Dex wants to tell Xavier the truth but April stops him – not yet. But it’s clear Xavier won’t rest until he finds out why April dumped him.

Thursday episode 5334 - 7/07/11

Xavier is still determined to find out why April dumped him. But when Dex and April meet up to plan their confession to Xavier, they’re sprung by Xavier in the middle of making out. Xavier is furious and tells them both to stay away. Dex and April resolve to stay together as Xavier downloads to Gina about the betrayal.

Moving back in with Miles, Marilyn is hurting but determined to move on with her life. Miles and Morag try to help by cooking her up a storm and putting on a big dinner. However, the night takes a turn when Marilyn gets drunk and insinuates that Sid cheated on her with Roo.

The following day, however, Marilyn has a revelation and decides to forget about Sid and Roo, and regain her independence by getting a job - she is starting a new hairdressing business! Meanwhile, Roo scrolls through her Hawaii photo album – clearly thinking about Sid.

Friday episode 5335 - 8/07/11

Roo is determined not to be Sid’s ‘other’ woman. However, after a B&S meeting at the Diner, Roo is forced to defend her dubious relationship with Sid to a prying Colleen. Soon after, Sid gets the same treatment from Colleen who seems intent on making this her business.

Meanwhile, Dex is struggling with the fallout of his betrayal of Xavier with April. When he talks to Sid, it’s clear both men are fools for love and are quickly becoming the focus of the Summer Bay rumour mill. Sid drowns his sorrows with Elijah and Laura, worried he’s missed his chance with Roo. But once Laura conveys this message to Roo, Roo heads to Sid’s place and the pair finally embrace with a promise of things to come.

Laura and Elijah flirt with the idea of Laura staying on in Summer Bay. But both are secretly afraid the other might be eluding to marriage. When both voice their concerns they quickly realise they want the same thing - to keep things casual.
