A suspicious Bob checks up on Viv, * has she been cheating on him?
Bob turns detective to find out if Viv cheated on him with Freddie. And after Viv catches her husband snooping on her, she packs his suitcase and throws him out!
"Bob is suspicious because the police have told him they don't believe he was involved in the fraud case, but they do suspect Viv," reveals Tony Audenshaw, who plays him.
When Bob makes a secret phone call to Viv's private investigator to see if there is any more evidence against his wife, Viv overhears and feels hurt.
She pleads with Bob to believe that no affair took place.
"But, because Bob knows her so well, he can sense that there¹s something more to the story than he¹s being told," admits Tony.
"A lie is a lie and Bob doesn't know whether it's a big or small one, but he's sure something's gone on."
Determined to uncover the truth, Bob visits Freddie's neighbour Sue again.
She tells Bob that she saw Viv countless times going into Freddie's house and can even pinpoint one particular date * 17 February.
When Bob grills Viv again, she breaks down and sends him packing. Later, Louise is upset to hear they have split and wants to help her friend. She fibs to Bob that Sue must have been confused because she and Viv were at a farmers' market in Skipdale on that day.
Bob rushes to see Viv to beg her to give him another chance. "Bob totally believes Louise * he is desperate for a reason to prove that Viv is innocent," says Tony. "Let's hope he doesn't find out it's a lie!"
