Emmerdale actor Matthew Wolfenden has been cheating on his long-term partner with soap co-star Charley Webb, according to a report today.
The People claims that the 27-year-old, who plays David Metcalfe on the ITV1 soap, has been secretly romancing Charley, 20, for the past six months. During this time, his girlfriend Joanne Cavanagh has been busy touring the UK with tribute musical Sinatra.
Charley, who is better known as Debbie Dingle on the programme, was spotted arriving at her flat with Matthew in tow after a night out last week. They left together the next morning, but drove off in their own separate cars.
A source told the newspaper: "Matt is a real womaniser. He always has been. The only thing he loves more than women is himself. There have been gossiping and rumours on set about his relationship with Charley for months. He thought he could get away with it. He is so flash, he thinks he is untouchable.
"Joanne is a lovely girl and she does not deserve to be treated like this. Emmerdale viewers should know what a love rat he is."
An Emmerdale spokeswoman refused to comment on the story.
