    Saskia's Death

Anyone remember this storyline with Steve killing her with an ashtray? Loved this storyline and I was gripped - I thought it was superb and the death scene with Saskia remains as one of my favourite ever Eastenders scenes of all time. The aftermath had me hooked.

I remember that. The best of it was Matthew being sent down for it. The so-called cool Steve was so scared of what Matthew would do. Then he doused the club in lighter fluid (or whatever flammable liquid it was supposed to be) and then revealed it to be "nothing more than water off a duck's back." That scene was classic. One of the best EE has ever produced.

I saw the episode where they got rid of the body on one of those weekend things on UK Gold. I've only seen clips of the episode where Steve killed her though.
