THE POSTMAN IS DELIVERING POST A TAXI ROLLS UP OUTSIDE THE FLATS, A TALL,BLONDE MID TWENTY WOMAN STEPS OUT. SHE LOOKS AROUND BEFORE RINGING THE BELL FOR KATS FLAT.

INTERCOME: [KATS VOICE] Who is it.

WOMAN: Its me mum Sonia can i come in.

SID IS BEHINED HIS DESK ON HIS LAPTOP. THE PRINTER PRINTS OUT TWO SHEETS WHICH HAVE INFORMATION ABOUT PARIS ON THEM SID SMILES. THE DOOR KNOCKS AND SCOTT WALKS IN LOOKING ROUGH.

SID: Wonder when you would turn up.

SCOTT: Yeah had a busy night.

SID: I bet you did with that Amy Scotman.

SCOTT: Its Brown now.

SID: Oh is it and the next time you leave early let me know yeah we have a business to run

VAL: Oh why did we go ou last night Jimmy [SHOUTS UPSTAIRS] JAY YOU BETTER BE OUT OF BED YOU HAVE SCHOOL IN LESS THAN AN HOUR.

VAL: You drank way to much last night Jimmy.

JIMMY: Yeah well its my day off.

VAL: Embarrasing me like that dancing on the tables and then getting kicked out.

JIMMY: Oh it was only a bit of fun.

VAL: [LOOKS AT HER WATCH] Look at the time im going to be late look you make sure Jay and Abi go to school no bunking off.

JIMMY: Yeah ok sweetheart.

VAL KISSES JIMMY ON THE CHEEK GRABS HER BAG, COAT AND LEAVES. JIMMY RUBS HIS HEAD AND LAYS DOWN ON THE COUCH AND FALLS ASLEEP.

KAT AND SONIA ARE TALKING ABOUT WARREN.

KAT: Why is he living with you.

SONIA: Well let me see the story he has given me is that he was about to marry his own sister that he did not know about and that his mum kept quiet for all these years.

KAT: Your hardly one to give me a lecture Sonia your just like me.

SONIA: And who fault is that mum.

KAT: What happened with Warren was not my fault.

SONIA: You could have told him mum months before the wedding.

KAT: It was out of my hands i had no choice.

SONIA: Choice of course you had a choice mum and you chose to betray your own son.

KAT: It was not my fault.

SONIA: No matter what you do no matter how hard you try you always screw things up with me and Warren.

KAT: Sonia please.

SONIA: Mum im sorry but you have had to many chances Warren never wants to see you again and neither do i.

SONIA LEAVES KAT STARTS TO CRY.

Thats right people evreyones favourite gameshow host is to join the cast of Exeter. While Les will only be in Exeter for a short while he will make quite an impact. An insider revealed "We have been looking for someone such as Les Dennis to play this new charecter for quite a while"
Les will play Rex Hunter a dodgy but lovable rogue. "Rex has roots in Charnley he used to be married to Kat Round before he was sent to prison for fraud" Are insider promises that Rex's arrival in Charnley will certainly cause a stir. "First off Rex gets off on the wrong foot with Andy Macklin, but Rex has a wondering eye and becomes intrested in Jenny Macklin." Les will film his scenes at the end of the month and will appear on screen at the end of May.

SID IS PACKING THE LUGGAGE INTO THE BOOT OF THE CAR. VIV IS SAYING GOODBYE TO TRUDY,ALAN,ANDY AND JENNY.

VIV: Caught me by suprise he did.

TRUDY: Wish this great big lump would do something romantic for me.

ALAN: I took you to that fancy chineese before christmas. Dont even like the ruddy stuff all slimey and smells funny.

TRUDY: Oh shutup Alan.

SID: Come on Viv stop yapping away.

VIV KISSES EVREYONE AND GETS INTO THE CAR WITH SID THEY BOTH WAVE GOODBYE AND DRIVE OFF. ANDY WALKS AWAY FROM THE GROUP AND DIALS A NUMBER INTO HIS PHONE.

ANDY: Dean its tonight we get rid that stupid club once and for all.
