Due to underuse I'd have him down as one of the next out, but I don't think he's going yet else there could have been a far more satisfactory exit for Lola. Nothing has been announced that I've seen.

When Jay is released he is of course going to go after Lola, Billy called the police on him and Phil don't care about him I cant see him staying which is a shame as Jamie is a great actor but very underused same as Danielle who played LolaOriginally Posted by Kim

I'd be surprised if Jay leaves. He's been badly underused by DTC - which is usually a death knell - but he's Ben Mitchell's long-term best friend and confidant which makes him an important character. How they'll explain him not following Lola I don't know. Maybe he'll go after her but be back in a few weeks after their relationship fails?
If Jamie does stay on, I hope he's given something decent to do for a change.

I know she dumped but now his tag is off I thought Jay would attempt to go after Lola
He seems like a spare part outcast in Mitchells especially now Kathy is back

It's the EastEnders news we never thought we'd hear - quiet man Jay Brown is finally getting a big storyline.
The young character will get a rare chance to shine in 2016 after a long spell out of the Albert Square spotlight.
When Digital Spy caught up with EastEnders boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins at a press event this week, we just had to ask what was coming up for Jay following readers' claims that he's not used enough.
Much to our relief, the show's executive producer promised that Jay will actually have one of the biggest storylines on screen next year.
Jamie Borthwick, who plays Jay, has already been told about his new storyline and it's thought that he's delighted over what's coming up.

The only reason I can think of is- he is
quite normal - which can be a drawback
for a soap character!
So I hope they dont change him too much
when he gets his big storyline!
