    Christmas on Corrie

There’s plenty of festive fun coming up on the Street this Christmas.

First off there’s some family feuding when Rosie’s fling with John is revealed on Christmas Day. Let’s just say that the Websters’ Christmas table gets covered in more than turkey and sprouts. The fall-out will have far-reaching effects and one Webster family member could even face jail.

Across the Street, Michelle receives shock news about Ryan this month when she finds out her son was switched at birth in the maternity ward. Will she go through with a blood test to prove Ryan’s her son?

Over at the Platts’, a visitor from Canada turns up for Christmas. Their return throws a spanner in the seasonal works but could offer a passport out of Weatherfield for one of the Platt clan.

In the Rovers, Liz and Vernon prepare for their wedding on New Year’s Eve. However, Jim’s return causes Liz to think again and she’s not the only one having doubts about the feckless drummer.

Elsewhere, Jack and Vera plan their move to Blackpool, but why does this throw Paul into a panic?

There’s movement on the Street in December as Eileen takes in a new lodger, a loved-up couple move into their own flat and yet another couple start nesting.

Meanwhile, Roy hosts a cosy Christmas dinner in the café and two Street young ‘uns share a Christmas kiss. Could the kiss turn into love for the lonesome twosome?

At Underworld, Christmas wouldn’t be the same without a raucous party and once again the factory girls don’t disappoint. But why does Tony Gordon want to join in the fun?

And finally in December, we say goodbye to a much-loved character when Sarah Grimshaw leaves the Street for pastures new. Sarah has been a part of Corrie for 20 years since she was born in 1987.

    comment back.

Sarah is only 19 and Jason not much older, surely they are not too old to be referred to as 'young uns'? When do you stop being a 'young un'?

I think it sounds quite good, especially as it is not deaths or explosions. IT seems more realistic, especially as Sarah is leaving.
