    Spoilers 11/11/07

    Sunday 11 November 2007

Perdy (Georgia Slowe) and Gray (Christopher Villiers) are excited on the day that Katie (Sammy Winward) goes ahead with the procedure and afterwards Gray invites her to move in so that they can care for her. Perdy later berates Matthew (Matt Healy) for offering Katie a bribe, and Matthew concedes defeat in his battle to win Perdy's affections. However when Perdy sees Gray kiss Katie tenderly on the forehead as she sleeps, she's annoyed that he's starting to focus his attentions on her. Will the surrogacy bring more heartache than happiness?

Emily (Kate McGregor) apologises to Jonny (Richard Grieve) as he attempts to shake Paul (Mathew Bose) out of his anti-wedding mood. Rodney (Patrick Mower) is convinced that Paul's having doubts about the wedding whilst Paul is annoyed that the whole village is debating the church issue and snaps at Jonny. Are the engaged couple heading for heartbreak?

Elsewhere, Ashley (John Middleton) and Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) bump into Melanie (Caroline Strong) and Greg (Shaun Prendergast) who ask Ashley to christen their son Arthur. Could a two for one christening be on the cards?

    Monday 12 November

Jonny (Richard Grieve) and Paul (Mathew Bose) both have their concerns over the wedding and seek counsel from Perdy (Georgia Slowe) and Rodney (Patrick Mower) respectively. With doubts about his commitment to Jonny swimming in his mind, Paul meets up with Gray (Christopher Villiers) and the two down tequilas at Victoria Cottage. One things leads to another and soon a kiss leads to something more in the bedroom. After Gray snubs Paul, sending him into despair. Jonny returns home and Paul confesses what he's done. Is this the end for their blossoming relationship?

Meanwhile, as Lily (Anne Charleston) throws an impressive cocktail party at Edna's (Shirley Stelfox), Edna worries that Doug (Duncan Preston) has fallen for her sister. However, her attempts to draw Lily's attention to the issue backfire and Lily angrily decides to leave the village, accusing Edna of jealousy. Can the two sisters reconcile in time?

Elsewhere, Katie (Sammy Winward) moves into Mill Cottage in spite of further protests from Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Perdy's obvious negativity. The situation worsens when Perdy reacts badly to Katie's suggestion that she take it easy at work, earning her a reprimand from Gray. Perdy later apologises when Gray returns from his evening with Paul, but will either one ever be honest with each other?

    Tuesday 13 November

Jonny (Richard Grieve) demands that Paul (Mathew Bose) tells him everything about him and Gray (Christopher Villiers). He is crushed when Paul admits that he made the first move and Paul flees to the Woolpack. Val (Charlie Hardwick) is stunned when Jonny tells her he's leaving and the unlikely ally of Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) convinces Paul to fight for his relationship. Confronting Jonny outside, Paul makes a last-ditch plea for his partner to stay, only for Jonny to make a heartbreaking exit. With his family around him, Paul laments the failure of his relationship, only for Jonny to make a surprise reappearance offering Paul one last chance. Jonny finds Gray and floors him with a punch, but will he leave Paul alone?

Elsewhere, Debbie (Charley Webb) makes an unsuccessful attempts to hide Sean (Darren Kuppan) from the Dingles, but when Lisa (Jane Cox) investigates Debbie's new man in the Woolpack, he offers to buy her a drink. When Zak (Steve Halliwell) and Shadrach (Andy Devine) also join in the table, Debbie is mortified. Convinced that the family has ruined everything, Debbie prepares for the ruination of her relationship. But Sean's response shocks her even more.

Also, Lily (Anne Charleston) confesses to Edna (Shirley Stelfox) that she has arthritis but refuses to let her help out. Undeterred, Edna calls in a doctor who prescribes Lily painkillers and recommends a blood test. However, Lily is determined to leave, but after struggling to carry out her suitcases the warring sisters have a heart to heart and Lily agrees to stay.

    Wednesday 14 November

Eli's (Joseph Gilgun) jealousy over Debbie (Charley Webb) and Sean's (Darren Kuppan) relationship grows when Chas (Lucy Pargeter) waxes lyrical about the pair of love birds. He follows Debbie on her date to Hotten and ropes in a date of his own to mount a spying operation. Debbie confesses to Sean that she and Eli were an item, but when Eli follows her to the toilets and steals a kiss, she responds by kneeing him in the groin. With round one clearly awarded to Debbie and Sean, will Eli bounce back to win the woman he loves?

Also, Rodney (Patrick Mower) continues to be troubled by Paul (Mathew Bose) and Jonny's (Richard Grieve) shaky relationship. With nobody else sharing his concern, Rodney confronts Paul and accuses him of being blind to the obvious cracks that have appeared.

Paul reacts badly and walks away without another word. Determined to press on with their plans, Paul thanks Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) for supporting him and asks Jonny if they can go ahead with the wedding. But is Jonny ready for such a big commitment after Paul's betrayal?

    Thursday 15 November

Eli (Joseph Gilgun) spots Sean's (Darren Kuppan) house while out doing the bins and is stunned to see him kiss a mystery woman wih two kids. Convinced that he's playing Debbie (Charley Webb) for a fool, Eli takes Debbie to see for herself and the pair come up with a plan for vengeance. Debbie proceeds to crush Sean's car, only for Sean to reveal that the woman is his sister and the kids are hers. After persuading Sean not to pursue the matter, he angrily tells Debbie that they're finished and she lays the blame at Eli's door. Back in the village, Eli desperately tries to reason with her and after Chas (Lucy Pargeter) intercedes on Eli's behalf, Debbie agrees to hear him out. After a heart to heart, Debbie agrees to give their relationship a chance and the pair are reunited. But what will the rest of the village make of it?

Meanwhile, business schemes are afoot in the village with Sam (James Hooton) and Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) finalising their plans to make home brew and Lily (Anne Charleston) negotiating the use of the poly tunnel at Home Farm with Rodney (Patrick Mower) for her gardening. The two enterprises collide when Lily becomes sympathetic to Sam and Belle's cause and agrees to share the poly tunnel with them in secret. Will anyone question the legality of the new schemes?

    Friday 16 November

Lily (Anne Charleston) experiences a close shave when Rodney (Patrick Mower) starts sniffing around the poly tunnel. When Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) turns up to add a dangerous amount of yeast and sugar to her wine mixture, Lily grows even more concerned. Later, Rodney returns to fix a tear in the poly tunnel only for the wine to explode, leaving him injured in a heap on the floor. He demands an explanation from Lily and she confesses her partnership with the Dingles. Rodney orders her out of the poly tunnel and away from Home Farm, but is that the end of Lily's "gardening"?

Meanwhile, Debbie (Charley Webb) is complemented on her business acumen by Zak (Steve Halliwell) but doesn't mention her relationship with Eli (Joseph Gilgun) when Zak asks about Sean. Questionning Debbie, Eli is told in no uncertain terms that he is required to be faithful, to keep his scams independent of Debbie's business interests, but to include her in anything lucrative. With Debbie satisfied by the terms and conditions, can their relationship become public knowledge?

I'm beginning to wonder if there's going to be a baby mix up storyline for Laurel & Ashley.

Could be, all the soaps seem to focus on the same storylines at times and it is happening in Weatherfield shortly.
