    End of British Summer-time

It's that time of year again for us to hibernate. Saturday 27 October is the night when we turn our clocks back one hour, and we get an extra hour sleep on Sunday morning (The extra hour does not apply to parents)

If your are still awake at 1am between Saturday and Sunday change your clock if not change the time before you go to bed on Saturday night.

Thanks to Vicky for my great new banner xxx

I hate this time of year. The dark days are so depressing and short.
Is it true that the day is shorter in Scotland than it is in the south of England?
    Thanks CrazyLea

The only decent parts about winter are Bonfire Night with fireworks and Christmas. Snow is also a good thing because the day doesn't seem so dark.
    Thanks CrazyLea

I don't know about weather in England but up here in Edinburgh since Tuesday it has been foggy and dark until 8.30am in the morning. Where I am in the Central Belt isn't too bad bad, but up north it comes dark at 4pm.

Yes, but in summer you get the most daylight.
