    New Lap Top

    Hubby bought me a brand new lap top it has windows vista premiumn..
    We want to get a decent web cam, so can any one suggest one ??

    Does it not have a web cam built in? Get one of those clip on ones designed for laptops.

    Logitech and Creative are two good brands.

    Does it not have a web cam built in? Get one of those clip on ones designed for laptops.

    Logitech and Creative are two good brands.
    This one does not come with a built in cam,,, so those two you mentioned will be considered,,
    Does the cam have to be compatible with the type of windows I have ? I have been told that the VISTA edition can be a baitch to work with when adding new things,,,

    Jodi ive just checked the web, it seems logitech webcams are Vista compatible

    Thanks babe... I am going shopping for a printer and a web cam next week at a big computer outlet store,, so I will be looking at LOGITECH brands,, THANKS RIMMER AND VICKI

    You may need to download some drivers from the windows website if some of your old periperals don't work with Vista.

    My sister had to download a printer driver to install her printer on Vista rather than buy a new printer.

    Thanks JB but we need a new printer any way,, partner gets his from work,, I need one for myself,, :-D
