However, when he finds her crying because Candice hasn't returned her calls, he doesn't have the heart to tell her and bottles out of it. As Todd arrives on the street, Eileen refrains from telling him the truth and when Jason confesses he didn't invite him, he's hurt and humiliated. But when Sarah storms in, in full bridezilla mode, furious that the reception room has been double booked, she's horrified to see Todd and runs out of the house screaming in frustration! Is the wedding doomed for failure?

In the factory, the girls gossip about Sally's obvious attraction to John and Rosie embarrassingly tries to make an uninterested Liam jealous by implying that her talk with John about her studies is a date! When will she get the message?

Meanwhile, when Paul arrives at the restaurant with a black eye, Leanne's furious and tells him that they should be aiming high and acting accordingly. Paul assures her that he's paid his dues and the heavies won't be back and reminds Leanne that she isn't exactly whiter than white! But is this the end of the trouble?

Elsewhere, Chesney and Kirk are managing without Cilla and despite having an upset stomach from eating cold tinned curry for breakfast, Chesney seems happy. Jason urges a hysterical Sarah to pretend she's pleased to see Todd so as not to give David the satisfaction of thinking he's succeeded in spoiling their big day. Sarah agrees and as the guys head off for the stag night in a stretch limo, Eileen, Gail and Sarah get ready for an evening in as Sarah has a wedding dress fitting.

However, when Sarah hears a loud thumping noise outside, she's exasperated to see that it's coming from David's car, but as she heads off to have a go at him she rips her wedding dress! Frantic, she phones Jason who can't understand a word she's saying and worried leaves his stag do. But when he and Todd walk into the house, Sarah explodes, not only is her dress ruined but now Jason seen her in it before the wedding!! Can anything else possibly go wrong with this wedding?

Elsewhere, John tries to convince Rosie that she should consider her education options and not settle for the job at the factory and Rosie appreciates being spoken to like and adult. However, Fiz is fed up of hearing about Sally and Rosie and is getting increasingly concerned that John seems to be the Webster family social worker…

Meanwhile, Rosie's upset when she hears Liam making a date with Maria, so when Maria phones asking her to tell Liam that she is free to meet at the wine bar later, Rosie doesn't pass on the message and hides his phone. As Maria waits at the bar assuming she's been stood up, she's convinced that she was right to be sceptical and Liam is too good to be true. Will Maria give him another chance? Sarah's finally calmed down after last night's dress disaster and infuriates David when she lies about how delighted everyone is that Todd's arrived. Meanwhile, Jason's gutted as he says goodbye to his brother, but agrees it'll cause too much aggro with Sarah if he stays.

However, when Todd walks into the salon later and tells Sarah that she needs to stop being so uptight about the wedding for Jason's sake, after all it's his big day too, Sarah explodes. After furiously rowing and airing their anger over the past, they finally call a truce and surprise a delighted Jason by revealing that they've made peace and Sarah's asked Todd to be the best man! As they all go to the pub to make a toast to happy families, David watches on jealously. Does he have another trick up his sleeve?

Fiz is getting increasingly irritated that Sally is monopolising John but when he reassures her that he's not interested and has already found his soul mate, Fiz is placated for now…

Liam bumps into Maria and is shocked to discover that she left a message with Rosie. Realising that his phone didn't go "missing" either, he tells her in no uncertain terms that she doesn't have a chance as he doesn't go out with staff or teenage girls no matter how big their crush is. Rosie's devastated that he sees her as a kid and decides that she might want to leave the factory and go back to school after all. Will Rosie get over her heartbreak?

Elsewhere, Kevin arrives back from Milan minus a drunken Jerry who's been detained in an Italian prison after dancing naked in a fountain! How will Jodie react?

When Sally reveals that Rosie won't be coming to work as she's ill, Liam explains that her 'illness' might have something to do with what happened yesterday. Sally's clearly embarrassed and decides to have a word with Rosie. But as Sally tells her she should stick to boys not men, Rosie's upset that everyone sees her as a silly teenager.

However, when John arrives for his lesson with Sally to find Rosie upset, she pours her heart out to him and is pleased that John treats her like an adult. However, when he assures her that she's gorgeous, she leans in and kisses him on the lips. John initially backs away but when she goes to kiss him again, he responds. What is John getting himself into? Will he get caught?

Meanwhile, Gail's pleased that Sarah and Todd have finally managed to call a truce and suggests they go for dinner at the Italian with Todd and Eileen. David feels sidelined and is furious as he sees them all happily heading off for the restaurant. What will he do to spoil this harmonious scene?

Elsewhere, Roy and Hayley return from their trip early having largely resolved their differences over the Christian incident. But Hayley reveals to Becky (Katherine Kelly) that her life feels somewhat empty and she wants to help other people so she's been in contact with a community volunteer group in Africa! Will the Croppers leave Weatherfield?

Elsewhere, there's still no sign of Jerry and Jodie's struggling in the shop as the boiler breaks. When Eileen pops into the kebab shop to tell her that Jerry's called from Italy and has a £1000 fine to pay, Jodie is resigned to coming to the rescue once again!
