    RIP I was so shocked. He was one of those people that it seemed would go on forever.

    He was a an who stopped at nothing for peace and went to all lengths in order to end his countries struggle. There will be no one like him again!

    indeed he wasn't. But his struggle as a freedom fighter in his own eyes was his goal for peace and reconciliation although not always going about it in the right way or using the right means

    Of course 30 years down the line people may say the same about G Adams but then again he was never in the IRA apparently

    apparently not but yet me and You Alan will have the same views on G Adams. But Nelson was a different mould.
