MONDAY

Keanu Taylor has got himself in an even bigger pickle than usual after faking son Albie's kidnapping to stop his ex Sharon Watts from taking their son abroad!

If the kidnapping wasn't bad enough, Keanu then anonymously sent Sharon a ?50,000 ransom note and hinted that Albie's abductor could be dodgy boxing promoter Dorian.

As the search for Albie continues, with the Albert Square regulars pitching in, the police up their investigation.

Sharon hides the ransom note from the cops, worried that Albie could be in danger if she grasses.

Desperate to get her son back, Sharon turns to Phil and Kat Mitchell, begging them to lend her the cash.

Even though Keanu's mum Karen Taylor suggested the plan to take Albie, she's concerned that he's taken things too far by demanding cash.

Worried that they'll both be in huge trouble if the plot is discovered, Karen is angry that she's being forced to go along with it.

Slipping out of the house, she drops a new ransom note to Sharon detailing the time and location for the drop, promising Sharon will get her son back if she complies.

After showing the note to Phil, Sharon is given food for thought when he suggests he do the money drop so he can deal out some rough justice to the low life who has snatched Albie.

Trying not to show his panic, Keanu insists that they stick to what the kidnapper wants.

But there's BIG trouble brewing when a worried Sharon tells a shocked Keanu she wants Phil to go along...

Rocky Cotton has got himself in deep with Nish Panesar after accepting a loan from him. He's been drowning in debt ever since Rocky was forced to stump up blackmail money to pay off his vindictive ex wife Jo Cotton.

With his gambling out of control he borrowed a large some from Nish Panesar. Desperate to pay it back, Rocky tries to stall Nish but the ex-con businessman has other ideas about how to get his investment back...

When Nish tells Rocky he wants him to steal a car from the car lot for him as payment, Rocky nervously agrees. After talking to boss Jay Brown about his near-fatal car accident, however, Rocky feels full of guilt and he realises it's time to stop the lies.

A resolute Rocky heads to the Queen Vic to finally come clean to wife Kathy Cotton about his gambling debts. But after bumping into Sonia Fowler, Rocky has an idea...

What is he up to now?

Cindy Beale and Ian Beale move ahead with the renovation plans for their new pie, mash and eels shop but the Knight family don't find their plans at all app-EEL-ing!


TUESDAY

Sharon Watts is terrified as she waits for instructions from her son Albie's kidnapper.

Little does she know that the whole kidnap plot has been faked by Albie's dad Keanu Taylor, who just wanted to find a way to keep her and his son in the country!

After Sharon revealed she'd taken a job in Abu Dhabi and was planning to move there with Albie, Keanu and his mum Karen Taylor vowed to do all they could to stop her.

Karen handed Albie to her sister Kandice and her husband Malcolm, asking them to look after him.

The whole plan got out of control when Keanu upped the stakes by posting Sharon a ransom note for ?50,000.

Karen was horrified but she realised that she was already in too deep to wash her hands of the twisted plan.

When Sharon gets a text from Karen posing as the kidnapper from a burner phone, she's hopeful the nightmare will soon be over. She's told to drop off the cash at the park at midday and is warned to come alone.

Desperate not to be found out after Sharon turned to Phil Mitchell to help her with the ransom, Keanu talks Sharon into letting Karen make the drop, claiming that if Phil wades in it could put Albie in danger.

Heading to the park, Karen meets up with Malcolm to collect her grandson and tries to act normal to avoid raising any suspicion.

Will Sharon finally get her son back safe and sound?

Rocky Cotton is still completely on his uppers and hiding his enormous money troubles from wife Kathy Cotton.

After gambling away what little cash he had left after ex-wife Jo Cotton blackmailed Rocky, things began to spiral.

Rocky ended ended up taking a loan from sinister businessman Nish Panesar, who now wants his loan back, with menaces!

He was almost on the point of telling Kathy the truth about his debts but in typical Rocky style he's come up with a new plan, that involves torching his wife's cafe for the insurance!

Confiding in best mate Harvey Monroe, who knows all about Rocky's money troubles, he tells him that the cafe already has dodgy electrics, so he'll never be found out.

Horrified by Rocky's suggestion, Harvey tells him in no uncertain terms to give up the idea straight away!

He tells Rocky that if he goes through with it, he's going to tell Kathy the truth.

Will Rocky see sense?


WEDNESDAY

Rocky Cotton has still got half a mind to torch Kathy's cafe for the insurance, even though his horrified best mate Harvey Monroe insisted he drops the idea.

When wife Kathy Cotton gets another electric shock from a faulty plug at the cafe, his mind works overtime, thinking that with the cafe's dodgy electrics it should be easy to fool the insurance company.

Harvey's words of warning weigh heavy on his mind however, and he tells a relieved Harvey that he's not going to go through with it.

Rocky can't resist heading to the bookies after his chat with Harvey and is elated when he makes a flurry of wins. It's not long before his delight turns to disappointment when he loses the lot again.

Now in an even more desperate situation, Rocky is grateful when a sympathetic Harvey offers to take out a loan to help his debts, not knowing that he's spent the morning frittering away even more money.

When Harvey finds out that Rocky has been gambling he's fuming and he tells him that his withdrawing his offer.

Knowing he's completely out of options, Rocky returns to his earlier dangerous idea.

To get Kathy out of the way, he arranges to meet her in Walford East for a romantic dinner.

On the way to the restaurant, Rocky furtively dives into the cafe to carry out his deadly plan...

Sonia Fowler and Reiss Colwell head to the hospital to have their first round of IVF.

The couple are nervous as it's a big step for them and all their hopes and dreams are tied up in having a baby together.

After Reiss admitted that he was infertile, Sonia suggested they try for IVF, as Reiss had always wanted a baby.

When they get there, Reiss goes into typical over-thinking mode and he ends up taking control of the whole appointment. Sonia gets more and more frustrated with an overbearing Reiss as she can barely get a word in edgewise.

Back in the Square, it's time for Sonia to have her IVF injection and Reiss insists on 'helping'. He ends up making a complete mess of things and a stressed and upset Sonia finally snaps and tells a horrified Reiss that she's not sure she can go ahead with the treatment...


THURSDAY

Bobby Beale has always been close to grandma Kathy Cotton but his attempt to do the right thing by her are about to leave him in a life-threatening situation.

Rocky Cotton has got himself into deep debt following his pay out to his blackmailing ex Jo Cotton.

Instead of coming clean to wife Kathy, he's fallen further into the gambling trap until he has nothing left, and no cash to pay up on a loan.

After witnessing the dodgy electrics at Kathy's business, the cafe, he came up with an explosive plan to start a fire.

Hoping that the blaze will be put down to faulty electrics by the insurance company, he's banking on Kathy being able to make a substantial claim.

After slipping into the cafe and tampering with the electrics, Rocky starts a small fire and he quickly makes his way to Walford East where his oblivious wife is waiting for him.

On the way to the romantic date, he's stopped by best friend Harvey Monroe, who has been concerned about Rocky ever since he admitted he was thinking about doing an insurance scam.

When Harvey questions Rocky about where he's been, Rocky covers, but Harvey is suspicious.

As Rocky sits down to the meal with Kathy, Bobby passes by the cafe and is horrified to see it ablaze!

Without thinking, a panicking Bobby opens the door and grabs the fire extinguisher in a bid to put it out. But by now the flames are roaring and it explodes, trapping an unconscious Bobby inside.

Will Bobby survive the blaze?

Reiss Colwell is feeling at rock bottom after his row with girlfriend Sonia Fowler over his handling of their IVF appointment.

Reiss and Sonia are due to start the IVF treatment that they've been waiting so long to go ahead with. There was trouble, however, when Reiss's anxiety got the better of him and he ended up frustrating Sonia with his overbearing attitude.

Pushed to the limit, Sonia told Reiss that she wasn't sure they were going to be able to handle going through IVF, leaving Reiss devastated.

In the Queen Vic, Reiss drowns his sorrows and ends up having a heart-to-heart about IVF and fertility with some of the regulars.

Is it really the end of Reiss and Sonia's baby dreams?

Bobby will be left fighting for his life in EastEnders next week, ending up in the wrong place at the wrong time shortly after Rocky starts a terrifying blaze in the cafe.

Rocky, as viewers know, is in serious debt to Nish Panesar who has been piling on the pressure in recent weeks, urging the former con-man to pay up.

The two ultimately come to an agreement, however, with Nish ordering Rocky to steal a car from the car lot, but a heart-to-heart with Jay Brown about life leads Rocky to reconsider.

Albie is still missing, but Sharon keeps the ?50,000 ransom note from the police as she fears for her son's safety. When Sharon confides in Kat and Phil, they agree to lend her the money to pay the kidnapper.

Karen worries about the consequences of Keanu's drastic plan, but she sends a second ransom note which provides a time and location for the cash. Keanu fears that his involvement will be exposed when Phil insists on joining him for the cash drop.

Meanwhile, Nish orders Rocky to repay him by stealing a vehicle from the car lot, but Rocky decides not to after a heart-to-heart with Jay. However, a conversation with Sonia sparks an alternative idea.

Elsewhere, the Knights are appalled by Cindy and Ian's new business plans.

Keanu and Karen worry about how to return Albie to Sharon without their involvement being exposed. Karen sends Sharon a text via the burner phone, warning that the cash drop must be done alone.

Keanu persuades Sharon to let Karen make the drop, as Albie might be hurt if Phil gets involved and makes matters worse. As Karen meets Kandice's husband Malcolm at the park to retrieve Albie, she tries to act normally to avoid blowing her cover.

Meanwhile, Rocky informs Harvey that he intends to set fire to the caf?, as it already has electrical faults and Kathy can claim on the insurance.

Harvey is appalled by Rocky's plan and threatens to tell Kathy what he's up to.

Rocky tells Harvey that he won't set fire to the caf? after all, but his situation gets worse when he suffers a major new setback while betting at the bookies.

As Rocky realises that he has run out of options, he prepares to carry out his arson plan at the caf?. An oblivious Kathy waits for Rocky at Walford East, expecting a romantic dinner.

Meanwhile, Sharon reels from recent events.

Elsewhere, Sonia is annoyed by Reiss's overbearing behaviour as they head to the hospital for their first round of IVF. Sonia admits to Reiss that she isn't sure this is going to work.

Rocky goes ahead and starts a fire at the caf?, before heading to Walford East for his date with Kathy. Harvey questions Rocky on where he has been and seems suspicious over his friend's behaviour.

Bobby spots the fire inside the caf? and tries to extinguish it himself. Sadly, there's an explosion and an unconscious Bobby is trapped inside.

Meanwhile, Karen makes her feelings known.

Elsewhere, Reiss drowns his sorrows in The Vic after his difficult day with Sonia.
