    24th - 28th September spoilers

    Week 39 - no ep sunday

    Monday 24 September 2007 7:00pm - 7:30pm on ITV1.

    Zak's (Steve Halliwell) anger about the fight's outcome grows and a guilty Sam (James Hooton) asks Debbie (Charley Webb) to loan him the lost money. When the Dingles are together in the Woolpack, Zak is furious with Sam's actions and vows not to take Debbie's cash. However, when Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) arrives home from her new school having been pummelled by bullies Zak has no option but to deal with his granddaughter. With his finances supplemented to sustain Belle's public education, are Zak's problems over?

    Meanwhile, Viv (Deena Payne) and Bob (Tony Audenshaw) return from the U.S. to reveal that Viv has qualified as a child rearing expert. The new Dr Vivienne Hope proceeds to unveil her plan of action to revolutionise childcare, with her final goal to reclaim her column in the Hotten Courier. Will Viv's new creed be just what the doctor ordered?

    Elsewhere, Pollard (Chris Chittell) confronts David (Matthew Wolfenden) when Betty (Paula Tilbrook) complains about her late wages. Upon discovering David's financial failings, Pollard withdraws his investment , leaving his son with no alternative but to sell to the De Souza empire. What will happen when Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) makes her inevitable return to the village

    Tuesday 25 September 7pm

    Debbie (Charley Webb) discovers she can't afford to give Zak (Steve Halliwell) the money he needs, but after a run-in with Kelly (Adele Silva) she decides on a different option. Later, Debbie reveals to Kelly that she has a picture of her kissing Eli (Joseph Gilgun) and demands two grand or she'll tell Jimmy (Nick Miles). Trapped, Kelly tells Jimmy she needs the money for her wedding plans and hands it to Debbie. However, when Debbie refuses to delete the photo, will the picture come back to haunt her again?

    Elsewhere, when Carl (Tom Lister) tells his brothers he can't attend the delivery of Tom's headstone, Matthew (Matt Healy) suspects he's going to see Grace (Glynis Barber). Carl does indeed go to see Grace and she tells him she's asked for a transfer. She assures Carl it isn't just because of their relationship and he gives her his blessing. When talk turns to the headstone delivery, Grace is suspicious but doesn't press Carl for information. Is her police instinct kicking in again?

    Also, when Zak and Lisa (Jane Cox) discuss ways of repaying their debt to Debbie, they agree that renting a room is not an option. Overhearing, Sam (James Hooton) decides to move out with Samson (Ben Shooter) to free up more space. Lisa tells him he's being unrealistic but Sam is determined to find a place of his own. Will Sam be able to prove his family wrong?


    Wednesday 26 September 7pm

    Matthew (Matt Healy) spies on Carl (Tom Lister) going to see Grace (Glynis Barber) and calls Vaughan (Richard Cole) to spill the beans. Grace is astonished at work when Vaughan collars her, furious with her forbidden relationship, suspending her immediately. Meanwhile, when Carl returns to Pear Tree, Matthew tries to convince Carl to cease all contact with Grace but he tells his brother to butt out. At the police station, Grace pleads with Vaughan for one more chance and in spite of his reservations, he gives her 24 hours to unmask Tom's killer. With the clock ticking, will Grace uncover the truth in time?

    Meanwhile, with partnership in De Souzas assured, David (Matthew Wolfenden) sets about planning a launch party for Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) at Holdgate. Rodney (Patrick Mower) and Paul (Mathew Bose) pose questions about the identity of mysterious Mrs de Souza but David is silent. Later, when Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) is reprimanded by David for her lateness at work, she seethes at her boyfriend's servile attitude towards their new employer. Is David falling under Nicola's spell?

    Also, Carrie (Linda Lusardi) questions Kelly (Adele Silva) on how she spent two grand of Jimmy's (Nick Miles) money on her head dress believing that Kelly is swindling him. When Carrie interrupts a second meeting between Debbie (Charley Webb) and Kelly she is desperate to find out what's going on. Offering to do some business with Debbie in exchange for Kelly's secrets, Carrie is disappointed when the young Dingle refuses. But is there still an opportunity for the two to team up against Kelly?


    Thursday 27 September 7pm

    Grace (Glynis Barber) implores Carl (Tom Lister) to tell her that Matthew (Matt Healy) killed Tom, saying once he does they can be together. Carl insists he doesn't love her, prompting Grace to launch into a tirade against Matthew and Jimmy (Nick Miles). She's broken when Carl turns on her and delivers the crushing truth that he is the murderer. The two part, leaving Grace sobbing alone in her flat. Carl tells his brothers what he's done and they panic that he is facing a future behind bars. The full repercussions of Carl's confession take effect with devastating consequences for everyone involved. Is this the end for Carl?

    Meanwhile, as the villagers gather for the De Souza launch party, the crowd is stunned into silence when Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is unveiled as the mystery businesswoman. David (Matthew Wolfenden) looks on in disbelief as the crowd denounces Nicola until Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) gives him a lesson in village history. Later, Nicola does her best to bridge the gap between herself and her family but Paul (Mathew Bose) and Rodney (Patrick Mower) insist she is not welcome. However, a sudden change of heart leads Rodney to his daughter's door and they are reunited with a hug.

    Elsewhere, Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) complains to Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) after Jack (Clive Hornby) again tells her off and she breaks down in tears, frustrated that she's not loved. Andy investigates how Jack's feeling and he confesses to missing Diane (Elizabeth Estensen). Believing that Diane wants a separation, Jack worries until Andy suggests going to Margate and fighting for his marriage. Will Jack go after his estranged wife?


    Friday 28 September 7pm

    Paul (Mathew Bose) continues to ignore his sister, but at Holdgate, Rodney (Patrick Mower) and Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) sit down and talk. Rodney is shocked to discover that Nicola's millionaire husband was in his seventies. Turning her attention to the cleaning business, Nicola calls a staff meeting and Jasmine (Jenna-Louise Coleman) is less than complimentary about her new boss. David plays the regular teacher's pet, much to Jasmine's annoyance. Nicola is amused that Jasmine is so jealous, but will she further her plans to turn David's head?

    Elsewhere, Matthew (Matt Healy) reassures Jimmy (Nick Miles) as they discuss the tragedy of the previous day. The brothers unite to supprot one another and remain stunned by the consequences of Carl's actions.

    Also, Jack's (Clive Hornby) preoccupation with Diane's (Elizabeth Estensen) continued absence causes him to snap at his kids to their annoyance. When Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) still can't convince him to go and see Diane, Val (Charlie Hardwick) steps in and insists that he can win back her sister. In spite of Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) wearing a face like thunder, Jack decides to swallow his fear and go to Margate to save his marriage. Will Diane agree to return?


    I cant wait for these eps they look totally wicked especilly all of the carl and grace stuff with matt jimy and vaughn

    Can someone tell me what happened with The Matthews brothers and Grace - I missed the last few days of that week and the next thing Carl was looking at her grave!?!?! What happened??

    She got knocked down. Their surname is King, not Matthews lol. She got hit by a truck whilst Carl was just about to hand himself in.
