    Cool Emmerdale Spoilers 9th Sept

    Desperate to see Grace, Carl resorts to waiting outside the police station. However she’s cold when he offers his condolences and a row ensues over ignored phonecalls on both parts. Grace furiously accuses him of not being there for her and walks off.

    Carl later waits outside her flat, determined to stay until they’ve sorted things out. Adamant they can’t carry on like this, Grace admits that she engineered their first meeting in the pub in order to glean information from him about the murder case. After admitting her feelings for him, Carl feigns anger and heads off. However, Grace is unable to let him go and stops him leaving. Carl is pleased that he has regained control of the relationship once more.

    Elsewhere, a suspicious Carrie questions Lexi over Debbie’s involvement with the necklace robbery. When Lexi later hears Eli saying that he saved Debbie’s neck the day before, she questions him and he reveals that Bruce attacked Debbie. Can Lexi prove that Debbie stole the necklace?

    Meanwhile, after another client deserts David for De Souzas he’s forced to give Betty the day off due to lack of work. When Pollard questions her presence in the Woolpack during working hours will David before forced to come clean about his flagging business?


    10th Sept

    Rosemary once again attempts to put a malaria tablet into Perdy’s drink, but is irked when Perdy casually doesn’t drink the mixture – pouring it into a plastic bottle when Rosemary’s back is turned.

    Later, Rosemary is horrified to see Perdy heading for the police station and follows. Once inside, Perdy is frustrated when the PC behind the desk doesn’t share her sense of urgency upon presenting him with the plastic bottle as evidence for attempted murder. Is Rosemary about to be rumbled?

    Meanwhile, Grace is hoping to spend the day with Carl before travelling to her mother’s funeral. However he dashes her hopes when he states that he’s too busy at the office – offering only to drop her off at the station later. Will Grace continue to let herself be messed around by Carl?

    Elsewhere, when Douglas informs Hilary that he’s off for a day’s fishing with the Dingles, she’s fuming and voices her concerns to Laurel that he’d rather spend time with other people than with her. Is Hilary right?


    11th Sept

    Undetected, Rosemary overhears Perdy on the phone telling Matthew of her visit to the police. Just as she hangs up, Rosemary makes her entrance leaving Perdy uneasy as to how much of the conversation she’s heard. Later, Rosemary confides in Katie that she’s found a stash of pills behind the bureau at home and is concerned about what Perdy’s planning.

    Cleverly manipulating Katie, she states that she can’t tell Grayson for fear of what he’ll think of her, urging Katie to keep quiet too. Having planted enough fear in Katie’s mind, Katie tells Grayson and he discovers the planted pills. Perdy is shocked and denies everything. Confiding in Matthew, he urges her to take refuge at Home Farm but she’s determined to sit it out, confident in the police finding incriminating evidence in the drink. Unbeknownst to her, Rosemary has stepped up the campaign as she sits forging a suicide note from Perdy…

    Elsewhere, when Andy receives his decree nisi through the post, Jo excitedly makes plans to celebrate. However, pride soon comes before a fall when Andy admits that the legal fees are more than he expected leaving him skint and unable to celebrate properly. Can Andy make it up to Jo?

    Determined to fight back, David makes plans ordering Jasmine and Betty to add paintstripper to De Souzas’ cleaning cloths, when they leave them unattended in the Woolpack. Furious that it’s done its work on the bar, Val reveals to David that she’s given the De Souza cleaners the sack, leaving him to take back the contract.


    12th Sept

    Returning home, Grayson is presented with ‘Perdy’s’ suicide note by Rosemary. Not knowing what to believe anymore, he pays a visit to her doctor who inadvertently informs him that Rosemary visited him to ask for anti-malaria pills for her non-existent ‘trip to Kenya’. Putting two and two together, the horror of what’s been happening sinks in, and he confronts Rosemary. Can Gray contain his anger?

    Elsewhere David decides to confront Mrs De Souza, determined to warn her off his patch. However, his determination soon turns to frustration when she keeps him waiting. Just as he’s about to leave, he’s summoned into her office. As the chair swivels round, Mrs De Souza is revealed to be Nicola Blackstock

    Meanwhile, Jo is furious when Katie chides her over having no engagement ring or party. Later when Andy bumps into Katie, she reveals that a client is taking her up in a hot air balloon. When he sees that the trailer carrying the balloon has broken down, he offers to help in return for a favour. What has Andy got planned?


    13th Sept

    A guilty Rosemary tries to explain to Grayson that everything she did, she did for him. However as he begins to piece everything together and realise the extent of her campaign, his fury increases. Wondering what else his mother is capable of, Grayson asks if she killed his father and Tom King. When she reiterates the assertion that Grayson should be with somebody who can give him children, he refuses to listen and throws her out.

    One of Nicola's De Souza reps appears in the village and attempts to poach Betty When Betty tells David how much she’s been offered, he tops the offer leaving Betty satisfied and David in further financial dire straits. He immediately storms round to confront Nicola but she stands firm. A desperate David realises he’ll have to resort to undercutting De Souzas in order to regain business. Will this plan work?

    Elsewhere Andy reasserts that he needs Jo home that afternoon but she’s having none of it. However, when she stomps off outside she’s shocked to see a hot air balloon waiting for her in the field. Delighted at her surprise, she jumps in the basket whilst Andy fetches their coats.

    Joy soon turns to horror, however, when one of the goats decides to chew through the rope holding the basket down, and the balloon takes off carrying with it a screaming Jo. Andy and the Sugdens give chase and the basket finally lands in a nearby field. After Jo composes herself, Andy produces an engagement ring and she accepts his proposal.


    14th Sept


    Zak and Lisa meet with Belle’s head teacher who reveals that there’s nothing more that the board of governors can do to keep Belle at the school. When Belle suspects that something’s going on, they’re forced to reveal the bad news, omitting the real reason why Rosemary can’t pay her fees anymore. When Belle later wins the spelling competition, Zak and Lisa are pained to see just how much the school really means to her. Can they find other means of funding Belle’s education?

    Elsewhere, Lexi’s suspicions are once more aroused when she sees Debbie with Pollard Debbie, meanwhile, attempts to find a new buyer for the necklace with little success. After Lexi sees her on the phone at the garage, she sneaks in afterwards and presses redial, discovering who Debbie’s been speaking with.

    Saddened, Grayson tries to get in touch with Perdy to no avail, as Paddy’s surprised to find Rosemary’s disappeared overnight and isn’t answering her mobile. He raises his concerns to Grayson, who tells him in no uncertain terms that couldn’t care less where his mother is – his days of worrying about her are over.
