    'Adam's Glib'

    Reeling in the aftermath of Frazer’s sudden disappearance, Rosie resolves to track down her troubled fiancé – despite Pepper’s continued pleas to the contrary. She tracks him down and entreats Frazer to let her help him work through his paralysing mental block, only for numb Frazer to reject her. Though heartbroken, Rosie refuses to be a doormat and gives Frazer his engagement ring back. Shocked, and aware he desperately needs Rosie in his life, Frazer finally accepts her help. But just as Frazer’s coming to terms with one predicament, he discovers he had a brother that he never knew existed!!

    Sky’s badly shaken when Caleb finally tells her the dark story behind how he came to receive Stingray’s heart: he was a drunk driver who killed his best friend in a car crash! Protective, Boyd urges Sky to sever all ties with Caleb but Sky finds herself unable to turn her back and leave Caleb friendless.

    Pepper’s mystified when she discovers that Adam’s idea of a “special” first date consists of eating grilled chops in his grubby flat! Trying to protect herself from potential heart ache, she looks for faults that aren’t there, accusing him of trying it on with her! But straight-shooting Adam refuses to let her sabotage their date.

    Irked by the council’s ultra-strict rulings against the proposed changes to ScarletBar, Steph goes on the warpath and decides to fight them at their own game – to Toadie’s dismay.

    'Taking the Mickey'

    Ned is surprised when his old high school girlfriend (Kirsten) comes to visit. But the biggest shock of all is yet to come – Kirsten has a young son called Mickey, and Ned’s the father! Ned’s in shock, and even more so when Kirsten dumps Mickey on him to mind for a few days before taking off. Faced with this huge dilemma Ned begs shocked Janae for help: he has no one else to turn to.

    Frazer is determined to find out how his younger brother Paul died. But when his mother (Prue) comes to visit and doesn’t even acknowledge his injury, Frazer suddenly feels very uneasy about approaching the past with someone who can’t even accept the present. Rosie intervenes and gets Prue talking, but even then Prue will only reveal the bare minimum details. Paul died tragically when he was a baby – but she sees no sense in dragging up any more bad memories. It’s clear though there’s a lot more to the tragic story…

    Janelle excitedly awaits Steiger’s return home from the Solomon Islands. But her romantic reunion is short-lived when Steiger falls ill. A trip to the hospital soon reveals that he contracted a mild dose of malaria overseas – thanks to dodgy Doctor Stone prescribing him nowhere near enough anti-malaria tablets!

    'Sin and Crispy'

    Janae takes charge as Ned reels from Mickey’s arrival. Janae is won over by Mickey’s charm, while bumbling Ned tries unsuccessfully to engage with his son. Despite Ned’s apprehensions, Mickey gets under Ned’s skin and they share a moment of connection. Ned’s situation is complicated further when Elle refuses to let Ned and Mickey stay in her house, offering them accommodation at Lassiter’s. When Kirsten calls to inform Ned she won’t be coming to collect Mickey, Ned panics, fearing Kirsten has dumped Mickey in Ned’s care indefinitely.

    Preparing for his release from hospital, Paul’s suspicions of Elle increase when he realises she has been lying about Gail. Determined to make contact with his ex-wife, Paul insists Elle stop deceiving him.

    Overworked, Karl misplaces his drug kit and Ringo worries Carmella may have stolen it. Susan’s concerned that fatigued Karl isn’t coping with his workload and yearns for the return of her happy hippy husband.

    Lolly delights in Zeke’s counter attack on Rachel when he ‘kidnaps’ Rachel’s childhood toy Crispy and sends her a message. Rachel’s humiliated, attacking Zeke for setting her up. When Zeke and Lolly deny all, Rachel immediately blames Ringo who is miffed by Rachel’s unwarranted accusations. Preoccupied with concerns about Carmella, Ringo brushes Rachel off and refuses to trust her with the troubles he has on his mind.

    'Truth Ache'
    Airs on Thursday, September 13 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One


    Gail returns to Ramsay Street, worrying Elle when she refuses to lie to Paul about his past. However, faced with the “new” Paul, Gail’s unable to tell him the truth. But when he overhears her and Elle discussing his dark past, he begs Gail – he knows the women in his life are lying to him and he needs the truth, even if it sends him mad…

    Ringo witnesses Carmella lie about her addiction. Deciding drastic action is needed, Ringo uses a rural buying trip to stage a car breakdown. Stranded miles from anywhere, he reveals his goal – to coerce Carmella into facing her demons. Meanwhile, Rachel grows suspicious when Ringo and Carmella become uncontactable.

    Lolly admits to Lou that she misses her siblings so he selfishly gives his blessings for her to visit them, much to Zeke’s horror. She leaves them with a sense of foreboding.

    When Susan sees friends get medical advice from Karl, she realises she might have a way to get Karl back to what he does best – medicine.

    'Dude, Where's my Carmella?'
    Airs on Friday, September 14 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One


    Elle invites the Ramsay Street residents to Paul’s party and begs them to conceal his past, unaware Gail is finally telling Paul the truth about his evil ways. Opinion is divided amongst the neighbours on whether or not to accept the invite but a vote decides they will all go. Everyone’s shocked when Paul breaks down at the party, publicly apologising for the terrible things he’s done over the years. But while hopes are raised about the new Paul, Elle’s devastated when she overhears what he really thinks about her.

    Carmella’s furious at being stranded but Ringo finally makes her see how bad her problem has become. Back home, Carmella and Ringo’s absence causes anxiety and Rachel reveals her insecurities about the friendship to Oliver. Buoyed with sudden clarity, Carmella returns and ends her tortured romance with Oliver for good.

    Adam can’t help feel differently about Pepper knowing she let Paul treat her so appallingly. Pepper vehemently defends herself: she’s learned from her mistakes and how dare Adam judge her! Adam apologises but reveals he can’t bear the thought of Pepper being hurt. The two make up and Steiger demands to meet Adam when Pepper thinks he may be ‘the one’.

    Bree helps Susan woo an unwitting Karl back to medicine by showing what a clever doctor he still is.
