    'Blue By You'

    Rushed to hospital following his collapse, Paul's prognosis is dire: he's got a one in ten chance of surviving an operation to remove his neuroma. Genuinely shaken by Paul's plight, Fox offers to tend Paul in the comfort of his home so Paul can live out his final days with dignity. Paul doesn't want to burden young Fox with such a grim task, insisting instead that Fox round up Elle to care for him. Hurt by the realisation that Paul wants him gone, Fox tells Paul that none of his family want a bar of him - Fox is all he's got left. But Paul won't believe it and, when Elle does come to see him, Paul angrily calls Fox on his lies. Concerned, Elle is immediately bewildered by Paul's frenzied behaviour: he's fighting with no one - Fox doesn't exist!

    Following Oliver’s declaration of feelings for her, guilt-ridden Elle resolves to avoid him. But when Oliver works alongside her at Lassiter's as if nothing has happened between them, Elle orders him to tell Carmella about the kiss they shared. But just as Oliver is about to confess all, Elle has a change of heart. Knowing she'd never forgive herself if she ruined Oliver and Carmella's relationship, Elle convinces Oliver that he's better off with Carmella - unlike herself, Elle knows Carmella is a good person. However, when Elle shocks Oliver by revealing that she wants to run Lassiter's alone from now on, Carmella's immediately suspicious and Oliver finds himself backed into a corner - can he tell Carmella the awful truth?

    Ringo continues his "Mr Sensitive" routine in order to impress Rachel. But after the couple talk through some pressing issues Ringo's struck with a disturbing epiphany: he genuinely likes discussing his feelings!

    'When Opportunity Fox'

    Paul is unable to accept that Fox is a figment of his imagination and accuses Elle of employing him to help take him down. Elle fears her father is having a breakdown and battles to get him to the hospital. Assuming his hatred for Fox is directed at her, she’s gutted by his harsh words. With his conditioning deteriorating by the minute, Paul is prepped for surgery and is chilled by a final visit from Fox, who threatens to take his life…

    Janae’s thrilled when she’s offered a contract by boxing promoter, Courtney Fenwick. Ned wisely believes that Fenwick’s interest in Janae has more to do with her looks than her skill. Ned tries to convince her she’s not ready for the professional circuit and to prove it he challenges her to an endurance test which Janae fails. Unwilling to admit Ned was right, Janae tries to get out of the contract but Courtney tells her it’s watertight and threatens to sue if she tries to back out.

    Oliver comes clean to Carmella about his feelings for Elle, but discovers the truth is just as destructive as his lies. Carmella’s initially angry Oliver has seemingly left it to her to make the decision about the future of their relationship. But after respective chats with Ringo and Ned, Carmella and Oliver reconcile and work out their differences. Another spanner is thrown in the works when Oliver is drawn to Elle in her hour of need, but Carmella is mature enough to realise that Elle needs her friends around.

    Sensitive Ringo proves to be a good friend to Carmella during her Oliver woes and scores himself a part time job, making deliveries for Celestial Fruits.

    'Mary, Mary, Quiet and Scary'

    Fearing her father will die without knowing how much she loved him, Elle spends a lonely night at the hospital. Vexed, Oliver spends a sleepless night at home worried for Elle. His concern eventually leads him to the hospital where he keeps a silent vigil over her. Initially reticent about his presence, Elle soon surrenders to Oliver’s warm support. Believing Paul’s neuroma may be the cause of his untoward behaviour in the past; Elle punishes herself for how she has treated her father and dearly hopes she will get the chance to make it up to him.

    Annoyed by Harold’s obstinacy regarding Kerry’s placement in the prison, Janelle takes drastic action and steals Kerry in order to deliver her to Sky. At the prison Janelle meets ‘harmless’ Mary and is pleased that Sky has such a lovely mother figure to assist her. Remorseful about his behaviour, Harold later apologises to Janelle for being selfish. Talk turns to Sky’s cellmate and Janelle panics when she realises this is the same Mary who locked Pepper up. Janelle and Harold rush to the prison and Sky panics, realising she has left Kerry in Mary’s care. A riot begins and a prison lock down ensues, leaving Sky trapped outside in the prison garden while her precious baby is inside with a seemingly mad woman.

    In his pursuit of youth, Karl buys a home gym and enlists Pepper as his personal trainer. Cynical Susan baulks at Karl’s latest attempt to stay young but privately tries out Karl’s equipment - only to put her back out!

    'Three Women and a Baby'
    Airs on Thursday, August 23 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One


    Having learned the truth about Mary’s dark past, Harold and Janelle create a diversion to allow frantic Sky to sneak inside her riot-torn block and get to Kerry. But Sky can find no sign of her daughter and fears Mary may have harmed Kerry. Sky’s relief is palpable when Mary reunites Sky and Kerry, revealing she hid Kerry to protect her from vengeful Krystal. Mary admits she needs help to deal with her breakdown and Sky hands Kerry back into Harold’s care with a renewed determination to fight for her own freedom.

    Charlotte flees the General Store after memories of her murderous deed. Boyd mistakenly thinks it’s due to the unfriendly response she received and warns everyone to leave her alone. Karl has doubts about Charlotte’s ability as a doctor and tries to trip her up on her medical knowledge. He fails to do so - but then receives some unexpected news via his old friend Stanford that brings Charlotte’s house of cards tumbling down. Meanwhile, Boyd begins to have his own doubts about Charlotte when she makes a medical blunder.

    Rosie surprises Frazer with her desire for them both to make peace with their parents before they marry. Frazer’s strongly opposed to the idea but Rosie believes he’ll regret it in years to come if he excludes them from his special day.

    Janae hears about Boyd’s new relationship and wallows knee-deep in self-pity. Ned takes her mind off things by stepping up her training regime and recommending that Janae stops letting Boyd rule her life!

    'Tramps Like Us'
    Airs on Friday, August 24 2007 at 17:35 BST on BBC One


    Charlotte tells Boyd the truth - she’s a fraud Doctor and she’s fleeing town! Deluded Boyd sees a chance to change his and Charlotte’s lives for the better, and suggests they leave town for a new start together. But at the General Store, Boyd overhears Lou discussing Terrence’s murder and realises that Charlotte may have been involved. Although devastated, Boyd still chooses to go on the run, seemingly content to throw his fate in with Charlotte…

    Zeke tells an outraged Rachel that Ringo’s ‘S.N.A.G.’ personality is just an act. Poor Ringo suffers at the receiving end of Rachel’s wrath as she refuses to believe that he’s now completely for real!

    There will be no episode of Neighbours of Monday, August 27 due to the Bank Holiday. The next episode will transmit on Tuesday, August 28.
