Corrie Spoilers 8th - 13th July
8th July
Liam returns to the street and immediately goes to see Hayley to apologise for leaving her in the lurch but is surprised to find out from Roy that the factory is working on a Sunday. He goes to see what is going on and is stunned to find Carla in charge. He gets annoyed when she tells him that she has given Hayley a pay rise and it was her right to do it as Paul has left her his share of the factory. He storms off but later apologises to Carla and asks to buy out her share of the factory, what will she think of his generous offer?
Steve spots Pat leaving Eileen's house and when she comes to work he and Lloyd tease her about Pat but she reveals she has not made a decision yet whether to stick with him. She later meets up with Pat and they discuss their relationship but before they come to a decision, he takes a call from a woman who Eileen presumes is his wife and he leaves to take the call. How will Eileen feel being second best?
Leanne panics when the heating breaks in the restaurant and she calls Janice to see if Roger could fix it.
Tyrone is busy making a makeshift wheelchair for Jack while Molly tells him they need to start looking for somewhere to live of their own.
9th July ALANS BIRTHDAY
Liz arrives home only to be surprised to see Derek waiting for her at the bus station. She tells him that Vernon is expecting her but Derek really wants to talk and asks her to come to the flat. They end up kissing but when Liz turns her phone on she has loads of messages from a frantic Vernon wondering where she is. She decides to leave but Derek persuades her to stay and to send Vernon a message saying she's stuck in traffic. Suddenly Linda turns up at the flat and Derek tries to hide a semi-naked Liz on the balcony before he goes to the door. Will Linda catch them in the act?
Sarah and Jason are back from their holidays. They tell Gail they have some news for her and will tell her over lunch. They meet in the Rovers and they tell her that they plan to get married again. How will Gail react to their news?
Sally complains to Kevin about how Carla has been picking on her. He tells her to stop worrying and start to look forward to her birthday. She is also delighted when Rosie tells her she is thinking about getting a holiday job.
Leanne invites everyone to the opening of her restaurant, including Carla.
Blanche complains about all the fag ends outside the Rovers.
Derek doesn't let Linda into the flat, promising her he's got a present for her that she's not allowed to see. Once they have left the flat, a furious Liz steps back indoors and calls Derek to see where he is and also to let him know that her case is in his car. She returns to the Rovers much to the delight of Vernon which makes her feel really guilty. She lies about her missing case claiming she left it on the bus. When Derek arrives and asks her for five minutes of her time, how will Liz react?
Sally is shocked when she sees Rosie turn up at the factory for a job interview as Carla's personal assistant. Sally looks on anxiously as Carla wraps up the interview. Liam is silent through it all and is surprised and angry when Carla offers her the job on the spot. How will Sally react to her daughter getting the job she wanted?
Leanne opens up the restaurant. She puts on a brave face as she chats with Carla and Liam while Janice and Roger watch from the sidelines and feel more nervous than Leanne is.
11th July
Vernon is suspicious when Liz begins to act strangely. He can't seem to do anything right and she picks on everything he says but she tries to assure him everything is OK. Linda enters the Rovers and asks to speak to Liz who takes her into the back room. Liz listens quietly as Linda tells her that Derek is leaving her as he's got another woman. Liz can't bear the guilt and confesses to a stunned Linda that she was the other woman but that the affair is over. How will Linda react to her revelation?
Sally recieves her birthday presents from the Websters as Rosie prepares for her first day at work. Sally's birthday party kicks off with a full house at the Rovers. Kevin gives a speech and starts to sing to Sally.
Hayley makes a collection for Sally at the factory which nearly ends up with Carla falling out with Joanne when she makes a snide dig.
Molly sneakily picks up Vera's address book as she and Tyrone leave the house. She tells him she's going to ring round all of Jack and Vera's family and let them know how they are acting as full time carers. Will she be able to get through to anyone?
13th July
Tyrone spots a man outside the Duckworths' acting suspiciously. The stranger heads around the corner so Tyrone hurries over the street and lets himself into the house. He is surprised when he meets the man at the back entrance being greeted by Jack and Vera who introduce him as their grandson, Paul.
They are delighted to see him as he asks to stay for a few days to help look after them, but Tyrone is suspicious of the new tenant. Later Paul boasts to Tyrone that he is pocketing Jack's money instead of placing a bet. Will Tyrone tell Jack about his grandson?
The factory girls are feeling hungover and give Joanne another warning when she speaks defiantly to Carla. Sean asks Liam how Carla is managing life without Paul and he comments she seems to have cheered up since Rosie arrived. Carla asks Rosie to make up individual files for her employees. She presents Carla with Joanne's file and she sacks Joanne on the spot. How will Joanne and the other girls react.
Liz is regretting speaking to Linda and so is becoming increasingly paranoid. She asks Violet to take charge of the brewery delivery this morning in case it is Derek. When Vernon takes a call on his mobile she becomes very concerned about who it is much to Vernon's bewilderment. Will the call be from Linda?
Sally and Kevin spend the day together shopping.
