At Paddy’s birthday party Chas snogs Eli to try and wind Carl up.

She’s furious she doesn’t get the response she hoped for and confronts Carl in the Woolpack toilet. She questions why he dumped her and asks him whether they can give their relationship one last shot. They kiss but Carl refuses to get back together with her.

When she tells him they’ll find away to get Rosemary sent down for Tom’s murder he heartlessly tells her he lied about loving her and leaves her. Will Chas let Carl walk away from their relationship?

Meanwhile, Paddy doesn’t enjoy his surprise birthday party that Rita organised for him and tries to leave the party early. Marlon and Donna convince him to stay but they sulk around in the kitchen eating cheesy chips.

Rita finds him and is angry that he’s been avoiding her all night. She storms off and leaves Paddy with her present to him, a set of stripper’s tassels.

Elsewhere, Kelly begins making plans for her modelling job, excited about the prospect of travelling. Jimmy starts to worry what Kelly will get up to on her travels, surrounded by millionaire racing drivers.

Kelly assures Jimmy she will marry him when she returns. Is Jimmy convinced she will return?


2nd July

Carl and Eli awake after spending a night in the cells.

Eli’s released without charge but just as Carl is about to leave Barraclough enters his cell and interviews Carl about the assault, determined to find out what caused it.

Barraclough tells him she won’t rest until Tom’s killer is found. She pushes him on Matthew’s guilt and he begins to buckle under the pressure. Will he confess to Tom’s murder to save his brother?

Elsewhere, Debbie continues her renovation of Tug Ghyll and splashes out on new flat-screen TV. Keen to impress Debbie, Eli mounts the TV to the wall whilst she’s out from work.

When Debbie returns she’s far from enamoured with his DIY skills as it’s in a spot she hasn’t re-papered yet. She demands he take it down. As Eli lifts it off the wall the TV slips out of his hands and it crashes to the floor…

Meanwhile, Paddy swallows his pride and apologises to Rita for overacting about his unwanted surprise birthday party. He explains he’s just worried about losing his business. Rita has a brainwave and gets Jasmine to write a positive story about the vets to save Paddy’s business.


3rd Juky

Still angry with Eli for breaking her brand new flat screen TV, Debbie demands he replaces it.

Later, Jasmine returns to Tug Ghyll to find the place ransacked. She calls Debbie who’s furious to find her newly decorated pad has been burgled and calls the police.

When Eli returns, he points out that she’ll be able to get a new TV on the insurance. Debbie twigs that Eli was behind the robbery and punches him in the face. Eli explains that she could make a mint from the insurance. Debbie can’t help but be impressed and they end up kissing, but they are rudely interrupted...

Meanwhile, Barraclough is angry with Dasari for telling her to stay away from the murder case. Her anger swells when Vaughn backs him up. Vaughn warns her it’s over and to move on or else face being out of a job. Will Barraclough be able to let the case drop?

Elsewhere, Perdy finally gathers the courage to venture out of the house on a shopping trip. She runs into Paul who questions whether she should be out, he’s met with a quick riposte.

Grayson feels it would do her no harm and agrees to meet her for lunch in the Woolpack. Although he becomes worried when she doesn’t show up.


4th July

Debbie accosts Eli in the street clearly not happy at been left the night before. Chas tries to question Debbie about Eli but Debbie dismisses it, claiming it was a one-off and she’s not interested in him.

Realising Eli’s feelings, Chas warns her to put Eli straight. Later, Debbie tells Eli she’s got all she wants with Scott and she doesn’t want him and viciously calls him a no good loser.

Meanwhile, Marlon and Donna excitedly prepare for the kids moving in the next day and happily say goodbye to the caravan.

Zak and Shadrach continue to supply them with more and more additions to the house and despite the growing amount of junk it appears that nothing can dampen their spirits. Can Marlon and Donna finally enjoy the good life?

Elsewhere, Jasmine’s story about Hari makes the front page of the Hotten Courier. Beaming from ear-to-ear she’s quickly brought back down to earth with a bump when she realises that McNally has re-written the article implicating Paddy in the ripping off of customers.

How will Paddy react to the news?

5th July

Debbie tells Eli she wants her stuff back as the insurance won’t cover all the cost of all the things he took.

Stung she didn’t apologise for her hurtful comments the day before, Eli is only too happy to show her where he hid her possessions. As he reveals the shattered remains of her stuff, Eli is pleased by her irate reaction.

Later, Eli turns up half-cut at Donna and Marlon’s whilst they are throwing a welcome party for the kids. Marlon is worried when Eli tells him that he’ll share a story with the kids about Marlon and the great bookie raid. Could Eli’s jealousy ruin Marlon?

Elsewhere, Paddy’s grateful when Chas offers to put her business degree to good use and help him with his paperwork. She suggests Paddy could rescue his business if he disassociates himself from Hari by buying him out of the business.

Paddy visits Hari in prison to ask him to sell his share of business back to him. Hari tells Paddy he only has himself to blame and that he would like to keep his share in the business so he has a job and income when he gets out of jail. Can Paddy convince Hari to sell his share in the practice?

Meanwhile, Perdy is lifted when she receives a letter back from a surrogacy agency. Annoyed by Grayson’s lack of enthusiasm she questions his commitment.

Grayson explains that he doesn’t want her to endure another disappointment so soon after the hysterectomy. Perdy suggests to Gray they go on a mini-break to think the idea through. Rosemary watches on, contemplating a way to sabotage their trip.


6th July

As Perdy prepares for the trip, she shrieks to see the twins old baby grows on a pile of clothes.

Perdy is convinced Betty must have got them out when she was cleaning. She confronts her in the Woolpack and creates a scene and Paul and Katie have to pull her away.

They take her home, where Grayson and Rosemary question her on where the baby grow came from and Grayson reveals a bag full of them that he found the attic. Is Perdy losing her mind or is someone else to blame?

Elsewhere, things keep getting better and better for Marlon when Diane tells him she’ll continue to pay his sick pay until he’s back at work.

Marlon worries about Eli’s resentment as Eli comments that as everything’s coming up roses for him he can take him for a drink. Eli then attempts to force Marlon to go out on a pub crawl with him, but Marlon refuses and leaves. Eli is pleased to see how twitchy Marlon is, and that he still has a hold over him.

Meanwhile, Pollard is in hiding for fear of running into Pearl. To save himself and David from a lynching from the village Pollard decides the only solution to keep her quiet is to pretend to buy the house himself by staging a fake sale and they could come out of the whole situation as the heroes.

Can Pollard pull off his audacious plan?
