Paul regains consciousness in remote bushland after being abducted by Dylan. Needing someone to blame, and irrationally convinced Paul is responsible for Stingray’s death, Dylan begins a chilling game of cat and mouse. Paul’s fears for his life prove well founded when Dylan pushes him over a cliff. But Dylan is offered a second chance when he finds Paul clinging to a rocky outcrop and saves his life – again.

Conscience pricked by Stingray’s death and the injuries he caused to a security guard, Ned pleads with Elle to abandon her campaign to marry Oliver’s millions and forsake her evil Robinson ways. Guilt-ridden, Elle is seriously tempted by Ned’s offer to run away with him with the funds he has secretly syphoned out of Paul’s bank accounts.

Lolly initially denies she’s attracted to the single-again Ringo, but when an opportunity arises to put her feelings on the table she spontaneously kisses him. Instantly filled with regret, Lolly fears she’s ruined the best of friendships.

When hopes of baking her way back into Oliver’s heart seem to fail, Carmella takes her disappointment out on Elle – by throwing a cake she baked for Oliver in Elle’s face!

Pepper is charmed when the secret admirer she is certain is Paul sends her a jack-in-the-box bearing tickets to the circus.

'Last Minute Scratching'

Karl and Susan are stunned to find out that Izzy is the Number 1 tabloid fodder in the UK. Karl can’t believe Izzy’s still haunting them, but Susan just wants to put it down to coincidence – until she runs into her! Upon hearing that Izzy’s boyfriend has deserted her and she now has no one, charitable Susan tells Izzy that they’ll help her – much to Karl’s disbelief.

The antagonism between the males and females of Number 30 reaches breaking point. The girls hold a raucous party to try to tick off the boys, but Oliver ends up escaping to Elle’s, and Frazer is too busy rekindling his romance with Milly. Sick of the games, Rosie extends an olive branch and drives Frazer to the racetrack. Before anything can be resolved, however, Frazer risks his life to save a young girl.

Elle’s lack of enthusiasm for their plans for Oliver convinces Paul he’s losing her. Reminded of Dylan’s harsh prediction that Paul will soon have no one in his life, desperate Paul does everything he can to keep Elle on board – but has his campaign worked?

Rachel tries to quell her grief about Stingray by putting her energies into playing ‘mum’. Rachel and Zeke are appalled when Toadie demands that they lie to Susan and Karl about Stingray, but soon see that Toadie isn’t coping with the loss of his cousin and comfort him when he breaks down.

'From Zero to Hero'

Unable to stop mothering, Susan’s determined to help Izzy resolve her relationship problems with Pete Gartside. Karl’s incredulous, fearing Izzy’s endless problems are going to ruin his own secret wedding plans. Ignoring Karl, Susan organises a meeting between Izzy and Gartside. Pete declares his undying love for Izzy and all poses well for their future. When Pete realises Karl is the father of Izzy’s unborn child he implores Izzy to come clean.

Well aware of the critical nature of Frazer’s injuries, Rosie’s struck by the depth of love she feels for him, despite her months of denial. Misguided Ringo believes his ‘hero’ brother is invincible until Lolly gives him a wake up call - there’s a chance Frazer may not walk again. Defying Frazer, Rosie informs his family of the accident and Johnny arrives, much to Frazer’s discontent. Johnny attacks his brother for being a risk-taking racketeer and insists Ringo return to the family fold. Spurred on by her love for Frazer, Rosie comes to his defence, berating Johnny for his callous treatment.

Elle accepts Ned’s offer to leave Erinsborough, keeping her plans a secret. Paul warns Ned to stay away from Elle and scoffs at Ned’s altruistic attempts to redeem his guilt. Nervous of his daughter’s wavering loyalty, Paul urges her not to lose sight of the grand plan. When Carmella joins the dots about Elle’s devious manipulations, Elle’s more keen than ever to escape from Paul’s machinations – but is it too late?

'Births, Deaths and Marriages'

Susan’s ecstatic when she receives Karl’s invite to her own surprise wedding but as the ceremony begins, Izzy arrives to tell Karl he’s the father of her baby. However, when she hears Susan and Karl’s heartfelt vows she decides she can’t ruin their happiness. Unfortunately, her attempts to sneak out unseen are thwarted when her waters break. Karl becomes ‘Dr Kennedy’ once again and delivers Izzy a healthy baby girl. But when Susan discovers the truth she’s left with an appalling dilemma – can she tell Karl he’s just delivered his own child?

The night before Stingray’s funeral, tensions run high in the Timmins House. Bree learns Janelle hasn’t told her two eldest sons about Stingray’s death; Dylan’s dark mood is fast spiralling out of control and to top it all off, Kim returns to a very frosty reception. Looking for an excuse to vent his anger, Dylan turns on Kim and Steiger steps in to stop things getting nasty. Dylan reveals his thirst for revenge almost led him to murder Paul Robinson and pleads Steiger to arrest him. But the only person Steiger’s interested in arresting is Dylan’s father Kim and Steiger warns him he’ll be placed under arrest the minute the funeral’s over.

Janae and Glenn realize they’re both at the hospital for the same reason - to find out if they’re pregnant to Boyd! Boyd’s desire to go to Janae confirms Glenn’s worst fears – Boyd still loves Janae.

'In The Wake of a Giant'

Friends and family gather for Stingray’s funeral. At the wake, Janelle is stunned to find that her son had so many friends she’d never met before. She pulls herself together to say a few words before the family plants a tree in Stingray’s memory.

Dylan’s angry path of self-destruction leads him to break into Scarletbar, and lunge aggressively at Boyd during the funeral. When Dylan sees that the people he loves are starting to fear him, he again begs Steiger for help. Meanwhile, Kim passes Steiger’s test by turning up to the wake despite
Steiger’s vow to arrest him. At Steiger’s bidding, Kim convinces Dylan to come away from Erinsborough with him for a spell to get his head together – before someone gets seriously hurt or Dylan ends up in gaol.

Boyd feels unworthy of attending Stingray’s funeral but Janae selflessly encourages him to attend. In Boyd’s speech at the funeral, it’s clear that Stingray’s death has been a major wake-up call for him and he regrets his appalling behaviour. Glenn walks out on Boyd but hopes for his sake that Janae doesn’t take him back right away – he has a lot more growing up to do first.
