According to CBS Los Angeles, Gabor's friend and former publicist Ed Lozzi has confirmed that the star passed away at her home on Sunday afternoon (December 18).

No further details are available at this point, although TMZ reports that Gabor died from a heart attack. Her health had been declining, and for a number of years she had been cared for at home.

Born in 1917 in Hungary, Zsa Zsa and her younger sister Eva were well-known Hollywood actresses and socialites.

Zsa Zsa was crowned Miss Hungary in 1936, moving to the US in the early 1940s to launch her film career. She starred in more than 70 movies, with her most famous credits including Moulin Rouge, Death of a Scoundrel, The Girl in the Kremlin and The Naked Truth.

But she soon became one of the first Hollywood stars to effectively be famous simply for being famous. Zsa Zsa was just as widely – if not better known – for her glamorous image, a self-deprecating sense of humour and her much talked-about love life.

She wed her first husband, the left-wing Turkish politician and intellectual Burhan Asaf Belge, at the age of 20, and they divorced four years later.

In all, Zsa Zsa was married nine times – including to Paris Hilton's grandfather, Conrad Hilton, between 1942-47. After they divorced, she was married to All About Eve star George Sanders between 1949 and 1954.

She was briefly married to Jack Ryan, who designed the Barbie doll and Hot Wheels toy cars, in the 1970s. Her union with eighth husband Felipe de Alba was annulled after just a day when it turned out her previous marriage hadn't been dissolved properly.

Zsa Zsa wasn't afraid to joke about her many marriages and divorces, and was once quoted as saying: \"I'm a marvellous housekeeper: Every time I leave a man, I keep his house.\"

In later years, she continued to make cameo appearances in shows including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and poured her unique brand of life advice into a book titled How to Catch a Man, How to Keep a Man, How to Get Rid of a Man.

She also hit the headlines in 1989 when she was found guilty of slapping a Beverly Hills police officer – and was sentenced to 72 hours in jail and community service. Two years later, she sent up the infamous incident in a cameo appearance in The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear.

Zsa Zsa is survived by her most recent spouse, Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt, who she married in 1986. Her only daughter, Francesca Hilton, died last year.

The article says he paid a million to be adopted by her as an adult so he could be descended to a princess by adoption. One of 10 males who did that including his brother.

    Gordon Kaye dies

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/me...-a7542001.html

Gorden Kaye, the actor best known for his role in BBC sitcom 'Allo 'Allo!, has died at aged 75.

The Bafta-nominated star's former agent told BBC News he passed away at a care home on Monday morning.

Kaye is best known for playing cafe owner René Artois on the popular 80s show is set in a small-town café in German-occupied France during World War Two and follows the fictional escapades of resistance fighters.

He appeared in all 84 episodes of the sitcom, as well as 1,200 performances of the stage version.

The iconic show, which is a parody of the BBC's wartime drama Secret Army, was created by David Croft and Jeremy Lloyd, but the remaining series were written by Lloyd and Paul Adam. The sitcom gave birth to catchphrases such as "Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once!" from Michelle "of the Résistance" Dubois and "good moaning" from a British agent who spoke poor french.

Born in Huddersfield in Yorkshire, Kaye was an only child. He worked in hospital radio locally (interviewing The Beatles in 1965), a textile mills, wine factory and a tractor factory in West Yorkshire before taking up a career in TV. He first came to prominence for playing the role of Elsie Tanner's nephew Bernard Butler in the soap opera Coronation Street in 1969.

The actor went on to appear in a number of sitcom roles including Till Death Us Do Part, It Ain't Half Hot Mum and Are You Being Served? before getting the role of René.

His last screen role was in BBC sketch show Revolver in 2004.

Kaye suffered serious head injuries in a car accident during the Burns Day storm in 1990. After the accident, he received emergency brain surgery and later said he had no memory of the event.

Tributes to the actor have poured in on Twitter.

    RIP Gordon
