Zsa Zsa Gabor, one of the best-known icons and socialites of Hollywood's Golden Age, has died. She was 99.
According to CBS Los Angeles, Gabor's friend and former publicist Ed Lozzi has confirmed that the star passed away at her home on Sunday afternoon (December 18).
No further details are available at this point, although TMZ reports that Gabor died from a heart attack. Her health had been declining, and for a number of years she had been cared for at home.
Born in 1917 in Hungary, Zsa Zsa and her younger sister Eva were well-known Hollywood actresses and socialites.

Zsa Zsa was crowned Miss Hungary in 1936, moving to the US in the early 1940s to launch her film career. She starred in more than 70 movies, with her most famous credits including Moulin Rouge, Death of a Scoundrel, The Girl in the Kremlin and The Naked Truth.
But she soon became one of the first Hollywood stars to effectively be famous simply for being famous. Zsa Zsa was just as widely – if not better known – for her glamorous image, a self-deprecating sense of humour and her much talked-about love life.
She wed her first husband, the left-wing Turkish politician and intellectual Burhan Asaf Belge, at the age of 20, and they divorced four years later.

In all, Zsa Zsa was married nine times – including to Paris Hilton's grandfather, Conrad Hilton, between 1942-47. After they divorced, she was married to All About Eve star George Sanders between 1949 and 1954.
She was briefly married to Jack Ryan, who designed the Barbie doll and Hot Wheels toy cars, in the 1970s. Her union with eighth husband Felipe de Alba was annulled after just a day when it turned out her previous marriage hadn't been dissolved properly.
Zsa Zsa wasn't afraid to joke about her many marriages and divorces, and was once quoted as saying: "I'm a marvellous housekeeper: Every time I leave a man, I keep his house."

In later years, she continued to make cameo appearances in shows including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and poured her unique brand of life advice into a book titled How to Catch a Man, How to Keep a Man, How to Get Rid of a Man.
She also hit the headlines in 1989 when she was found guilty of slapping a Beverly Hills police officer – and was sentenced to 72 hours in jail and community service. Two years later, she sent up the infamous incident in a cameo appearance in The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear.
Zsa Zsa is survived by her most recent spouse, Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt, who she married in 1986. Her only daughter, Francesca Hilton, died last year.

My friend had a heart attack on a plane. The plane had to stay at heathrow for an extra hour while they saved her life. After she survived the company tried to sue her for the extra hour spent at heathrow.
