David Tennant has become a father for the first time, it has been revealed.

The former Doctor Who star's fiancée Georgia Moffett is said to have recently given birth to a baby girl.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple are thought to have named the child Olivia.

"Georgia and David could not be happier," a source said. "Olivia is beautiful and their families are over the moon.

"They did very well in keeping everything very nearly private and keeping things under wraps. Georgia was a lot more pregnant than people thought when the news first broke."

It was revealed as recently as January that Tennant and Moffett were expecting a child, not long after it was reported that the pair had got engaged.

The couple met on the set of an episode of Doctor Who, in which Moffett - the real-life daughter of former Time Lord Peter Davison - played the Tenth Doctor's own child, Jenny.

Moffett already has a son, named Ty, although she has never publicly revealed the father's identity.

Canadian pop star Michael Buble has married Argentine TV actress Luisana Lopilato in a civil ceremony.

The Grammy-winning singer of Crazy Love and his sweetheart posed for a mob of fans after tying the knot at a civil registry in Buenos Aires.

She wore a lilac chiffon dress with silver high heels and Michael wore a sharp grey suit as he leaned down for a kiss.

Then Luisana, 23, tossed a bouquet of purple orchids into the crowd as some fans threw rice and red rose petals and a young woman shouted: "I love you Michael!"

Singer Michael, 35, won his Grammy last month for traditional pop vocal album, and is one of North America's top-grossing concert entertainers. Luisana made her name as a model and in Argentine sitcoms and soap operas, including Rebel Way, Little Girls, Married With Children and Pirate Soul.

The couple plan a full ceremony with 300 guests next month at a mansion outside Buenos Aires, and another wedding in Vancouver in April. They have homes in Canada, Los Angeles and Buenos Aires province.

Michael dated British actress Emily Blunt for several years before he met Luisana in 2009 during a South American concert tour. Luisana was romantically involved before with tennis player Juan Monaco.

With more than 500,000 fans and followers on Facebook and Twitter, she sent messages throughout the day, thanking her family and the media. "How beautiful it all was!" she wrote.

TRUCKING legend Edward Stobart, whose lorry empire is so famous it has a 25,000-strong fan club, has died aged 56.

The haulage magnate, who built up the Eddie Stobart lorry business and ran it for more than 30 years, was taken ill with heart problems at his Warwickshire mansion.

Doctors battled to save him but he died in hospital in Coventry yesterday from a suspected heart attack, with his wife Mandy and two of their children at his bedside.
The Cumbria-based *business was started by his father named Eddie.

But it was Edward who saw it grow from a *fertiliser delivery firm into one of the biggest haulage companies in the country, employing more than 5,000 workers and running 2,250 distinctive trucks.
The firm revels in its *popularity and its fan club promotes the game of ‘‘Eddie Spotting’’, and also sells toy lorries, T-shirts and even Eddie Teddies.
Every lorry in the Stobart fleet has a female name, such as Twiggy, Tammy, Dolly and Suzi.
A spokesman for the Eddie Stobart fan club said: “It is a real shock and it is very raw because it’s just happened.”

Mr Stobart sold the company to his brother William and his business partner Andrew Tinkler in 2004 and had since dabbled in other *business ventures.

His brother broke the news to the Eddie Stobart *workforce in a statement, saying: “Edward, although not directly involved in today’s company, was the person who built the firm up.
“He was the one who built the Eddie Stobart brand and business and we have so much to thank him for.”

A statement from the Stobart Group said: “It is with great sadness and regret that Stobart Group shares the news that Edward has passed away. Our thoughts are with his wife Mandy, his *children and family.”
A close friend said: “It is terribly sad. His dad, who started it all, is still alive in his 80s living in Cumbria. The family is very private and they won’t be talking about this.”

In recent years Mr Stobart had suffered a number of personal setbacks.
In 2008 his adopted son, also called Edward Stobart, was wrongly accused of raping a teenage girl and was beaten up in a number of revenge attacks. In May last year Mr Stobart was banned from driving for 20 months after he admitted drink-driving in his Mercedes. Last July he was also declared bankrupt at Warwick county court.
Last night Theo de Pencier, chief of the Freight Transport Association, said: “The haulage industry owes him a debt of gratitude for the way he brought a personal and human touch to the sector and helped earn the public’s respect.
“Our condolences go to his family and friends.”

TV star Les Dennis has become a father for the third time.

Thomas Christopher, who was born weighing 9lb 3oz, is the 57-year-old comedian's second child with wife Claire, 40.

A spokeswoman said: "Les Dennis and wife Claire are thrilled and delighted at the birth of their baby son, born at a London hospital on Thursday 14th April at 2.03pm."

The former Family Fortunes host has a daughter, Eleanor, who turns three on Easter Sunday, with his wife, a life coach, who lost a child after an ectopic pregnancy last year.

Les also has a son, Philip, now 31, from his first marriage to Lynne Webster.

He has said of being an older parent: "Now, I have the time and energy - well, sometimes - to enjoy Eleanor to the full. She has brought such joy into my life.

"When Claire and I knew we wanted to be together, I wasn't sure about starting a family. But I loved her enough that I'd be happy with it.

"Then, when she got pregnant, I was over the moon and released somehow from any worry about being a dad again in my mid-50s."

Mariah Carey has welcomed twins earlier today with husband Nick Cannon.

Cindi Berger, a representative for the couple, confirmed to The AP that Carey gave birth today at 12.07pm EDT at an unknown hospital in Los Angeles.

The singer's daughter was born first, weighing 5lb 3oz, followed closely by a boy, weighing 5lb 6oz.

"My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life!" Cannon tweeted earlier today. "I won't ever be able to top this!"

The comedian sat down for an interview with Ellen DeGeneres earlier this week, in which he revealed Carey was likely to give birth "at any minute".

The statement also revealed that the pair listened to Carey's 2005 single 'We Belong Together' shortly after the births.

Although the couple have yet to name the new arrivals, they are expected to renew their wedding vows tomorrow, having celebrated three years of marriage today.
