TMZ is reporting and E! Online is confirming with court documents that Courtney Love has temporarily lost legal custody of Frances Bean, her daughter with late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Frances Bean, who is now a whopping 17 years old, has been placed in the care of Cobain’s mother, Wendy O’Connor, and his sister, Kimberly. No reason for the guardianship was given, and the women do not have control over the teen’s trust fund.

30 Rock star Grizz Chapman has announced that he needs a kidney transplant.
The 35-year-old actor, who plays Tracy Morgan's sidekick Grizz on the NBC sitcom, confirmed that he was diagnosed with kidney disease two years ago and has been undergoing dialysis treatment three times a week. It is thought that severe hypertension caused his condition.
Chapman also revealed that he is required to lose around 75 pounds before he is deemed a viable candidate for the transplant.
Speaking to People, he promised: "Whatever I can do for the longevity of my life, I'm going to do."
He continued: "I'm afraid to get [the transplant] because of all the unknown things. You can put a kidney in your body - and somewhere down the line your body might reject it. I'm not saying I don't want to go through with it, but it's a little scary. It's a big decision."
Chapman said that he had decided to speak out over his problems in order to convince others to take their health more seriously.
Meanwhile, the father-of-two assured fans that he will continue to play the role of Grizz for the foreseeable future.

According to the AFP, a Los Angeles court has ruled that Frances Bean should be placed under the temporary guardianship of her grandmother Wendy O'Connor and aunt Kimberly Dawn Cobain.
O'Connor is the mother of Bean's late father Kurt Cobain, who was best known as the lead singer of Nirvana before his death in 1994.
Legal papers which have been published online do not mention Love or reveal any explicit reason for the move, BBC News reports.
Former Hole singer Love previously lost custody of Bean in 2003 following a drug overdose. The star's daughter was placed back into her care in 2005.
It is believed that the latest court order runs until February.

Paul Gascoigne has reportedly been arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
According to PA, a police spokeswoman said that the ex-footballer was taken into custody in the early hours of this morning following a disturbance in Newcastle.
It is believed that Gascoigne was arrested in the Jesmond area of the city at 2.15am and later received a fixed penalty notice at a police station.
The police representative would not confirm how much the notice was for, but it is believed that fines for disorderly behaviour usually range between £50 and £80.
Former England player Gascoigne has allegedly struggled with an alcohol problem in recent years, causing him to check into rehab on more than one occasion.

Reports claim Hollywood stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon have split up after two years together.
Apparently the A listers have had an amicable split after their romance fizzled out.
A source told E! Online: “They needed time to figure it out and they were on different coasts. When they were finally together, they talked it out and decided they're not going to be together anymore.”
“There are no other people involved. The relationship just ended. It just fizzled. But they also wanted to be careful and private about it because of Reese's kids.”
Jake and Reese met on the set of the movie Rendition but have never talked publicly about their relationship.

Roy E. Disney died today after his long battle with stomach cancer came to an end.
The Walt Disney Company announced that Walt's nephew succumed to his illness at his home in Newport Beach, CA.
He is best known for being unafraid to shake up the firm his father Roy and uncle helped build. He led two successful shareholder revolts: one in 1984 against Walt's son-in-law Ron Miller, after concluding that he was leading the company astray, and the second against Michael Eisner, who he helped bring in.
Roy oversaw hits such as The Lion King as vice chairman of Disney's board of directors and chairman of its animation division. Two short films he was involved in nabbed Academy Awards. The first was 1959's Mysteries of the Deep, which he co-wrote, and the second was 2003's Destino, which he co-produced.
In 2007, Forbes magazine ranked him as the 754th richest person in the world and estimated his fortune at $1.3bn (£897m). In 2005, he pledged $10m (£6.1m) to establish the Roy and Patricia Disney Cancer Center at Providence St. Joseph Medical Centre in Burbank.

Jake Gyllenhaal has reportedly been left broken hearted after Reese Witherspoon allegedly ended their relationship.
The Brokeback Mountain actor, who is believed to have split from Witherspoon earlier this month after two years together, had apparently been hoping that they would get married.
A friend of Gyllenhaal told Us Weekly magazine: "It broke his heart. She felt pressured to wed again but she wasn't ready. She couldn't give Jake enough and she got cold feet. Jake wanted all of her.
"She really worried that they didn't have enough in common. When she was giving all of her energy to Jake, she felt like she wasn't giving her kids enough. He was great with the kids, but she felt like he didn't get the whole scope of what that entailed."
Reese has 10-year-old daughter Ava and 6-year-old son Deacon with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles has allegedly filed for divorce from the singer's father and manager Mathew after 29 years of marriage.
According to MTV, the costume designer filed paperwork last month in Texas seeking an end to the couple's relationship.
TMZ reported that her husband was hit with a paternity suit in October from Alexsandra Wright, who claimed to be six months pregnant with his child. It is not clear if the suit had anything to do with the divorce filing.
Both parents have played pivotal roles in their daughter's career. Mathew formed Destiny's Child predecessor Girl's Tyme and earned a producer credit on many of Beyoncé's albums, as well as her latest movie Obsessed.
Meanwhile, Tina helped design many of the popstar's costumes and is her partner in the House of Dereon fashion line.

Patrick Stewart will reportedly be made a knight in the New Year's Honours List.
The Star Trek legend will be honoured for his services to drama, in a film and television career which has spanned 50 years.
According to The Mirror, sources at Buckingham Palace claim that the Queen is an admirer of the 69-year-old star.
"He is a man at the very top of his trade who has mastered both popular TV and classic roles," a source said.
Stewart, who trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, is most widely known for his roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men films.

Susan Sarandon has confirmed that she has ended her relationship with Tim Robbins.
According to People, the pair, who had been together for over two decades, split over the summer.
"Actress Susan Sarandon and her partner of 23 years, actor Tim Robbins, have announced that they separated over the summer," said Sarandon's rep Teal Cannaday in a statement. "No further comments will be made."
The couple met on the set of Bull Durham, and they have two sons together, Jack, 20, and Miles, 17. They were never married.
