Scrubs star Sarah Chalke is expecting her first child this winter.
The 32-year-old TV actress, a former Roseanne regular, is "thrilled" about motherhood, according to her publicist, who has confirmed the happy news to American publication Life & Style.
The father is Chalke's fiance, lawyer Jamie Afifi. The couple became engaged in 2006.

The daughter of TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan has been charged with drink-driving.
22-year-old Chloe Madeley was arrested after a crash in Meadway Close, Barnet, north London, in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A police patrol discovered a Peugeot 206 on its roof after apparently hitting a parked Mini. No one was at the scene.
Police database checks revealed Miss Madeley was the owner of the car and she was arrested at Richard and Judy's home, then breathalysed and charged.
Chloe Madeley has worked as a showbusiness reporter on her parents' chat show, presented Big Brother's Big Mouth and posed in her underwear for men's magazine FHM.
She has been bailed to appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court on September 2.

Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane and his wife, actress Rebecca Gayheart, are the stars of a new sex tape leaked online.
The couple teamed up with former Miss Teen USA Kari Ann Peniche for a threesome - and filmed the tryst.
Gawker's Defamer.com first reported the sex tape by posting an edited version of the video on Monday.
Dane and Gayheart's lawyer Marty Singer insists he will sue anyone who publishes the "private, confidential tape," adding "from what I've seen, it's a naked tape, not a sex tape."
The footage posted on Defamer.com features the seemingly intoxicated threesome passing a camera around and dreaming up porn names for each other.
Dane states, "My alter-ego name is Peter (and) my dog growing up was called Cocaine, and I lived on Manor Drive, so I'm Cocaine Manor."

John Cleese is to pay £12.5 million in a divorce settlement to his former wife Alyce Faye Eichelberger.
The ruling by a Californian court means that he is now poorer than Eichelberger.
His fortune will reportedly fall to £10 million, after he was ordered to pay Eichelberger £8 million up front and an annual fee of £612,000 for the next seven years.
Cleese married psychotherapist Eichelberger, his third wife, in 1992.
Talking after the verdict, Cleese said, "I got off lightly. Think what I'd have to pay if she'd contributed anything."
Cleese's pal Michael Winner added that "if there ever was a case for prenuptial agreements, this is it".
"The result is extraordinary. Alyce lived in a council flat when they met," Winner added.
It's claimed that Cleese is currently writing a one man stage show entitled - My Alyce Faye Divorce Tour.

Former Brookside actress Jennifer Ellison has confirmed she's four months pregnant with her first child.
The 26-year-old told OK! magazine she and fiance Rob Tickle were expecting a baby. The couple say they were suprised when a pregnancy test confirmed the news.
Jennifer, who won celebrity cooking competition Hell's Kitchen in 2004, says she favours a natural water birth.
Mr Tickle, a businessman who has two daughters from a previous relationship, says they were thinking of having Spandau Ballet's hit True playing at the birth, as this was the tune Jennifer was born to.

The wife of Hollywood actor Sean Penn has reportedly filed for divorce.
According to People magazine, 43-year-old Robin Wright Penn has submitted legal documents in California.
They state that the pair have already reached agreement on the division of their property and their intention to share custody of their 16-year-old son Hopper. They also have an 18-year-old daughter called Dylan.
The couple began their relationship in the early 1990s, marrying in 1996.
It is not the first time that the Penns have filed for divorce. In December 2007 both Wright and Penn filed on grounds of irreconcilable differences. The request was later dismissed at the couple's request.
Penn was previously married to Madonna, from whom he was divorced in 1989.

Singer Celine Dion is pregnant with her second child, it has been revealed.
The Canadian singer, 41, and her husband Rene Angelil, 67, are already parents to son Rene-Charles, eight.
Rene has three other children from his previous marriages.
'We can confirm she is pregnant,' her spokesperson told US Magazine today, adding that the singer and her husband are 'very happy.
