Emmerdale Spoilers 27th May -1st June

Edna and Pearl are anything but united in their grief over Len's death. With the man they loved gone, they continue to wage Woolpack war over his memory. And when Edna realises Pearl hasn't invited her to the funeral, she's fuming. However, Pearl's addled with alcohol and ready to give as good as she gets!

Meanwhile, Donna announces her intention to become a fulltime police officer to bring in more money. Is the feisty WPC now both the husband and the wife in her relationship with Marlon?

Elsewhere, Jo is confused by Jack's offer to invest in her goat milk scheme. However, when her future father-in-law tells her the idea could net a fortune, she's flattered into agreeing. How will Grayson feel about being usurped?

28th May

Lady Tara returns with Danny for Len's funeral. The pair are shocked to discover Edna's been excluded from the ceremony and urge her to attend. Later Pearl is furious to find Edna at Len's grave and the two have another spat.

Meanwhile, Daz is delighted to have his dad back in the village. The ex-con is thrilled with his new job at the garage and when Val offers him accommodation it seems as though all his prayers have been answered.

And Rodney touches Sharon's cold heart when he gives her an antique locket ahead of her wedding. Val, however, is furious with her ex for playing such a big role in the WAG wedding and snipes about the pendant's authenticity.


29th May

One-hour episode

As Pearl says goodbye to Danny, a watching Pollard is reprimanded by David for invoking his eviction plan so soon after Len's death. Pearl is in despair when she receives the eviction letter and when Edna kindly invites her to move back in with her, she stubbornly refuses. With the prospect of being left homeless, Pearl is close to breaking point. Will dastardly Pollard change a habit of a lifetime and have a heart?

Over at the café, Val is full of enthusiasm ahead of Sharon's hen night but is knocked back when Sharon says she isn't having one. Not about to be denied, Val continues to make plans of devout tackiness ignoring Sharon's wish of a Wags evening at a spa. Sharon gets her wish but when she emerges the next day with a terrible hangover, she is shocked to find that Val is ready with the garish t-shirts and rabbit ears for hen night number 2 that evening. Is this a recipe for disaster?

Meanwhile, Rodney rounds up a group for the evening's poker game and Gray offers Mill Cottage as a venue. However Rodney is unnerved when Dan reveals his expectations of female company at the night's event. As night progresses, Rodney is shocked by Dan's drunken behaviour and his womanising stories. When he voices his concerns to Sharon he is further stunned when she confirms that she's willing to sacrifice fidelity for a life of luxury. Will the WAGs wedding lead to a marriage of tears and tantrums?

30th MAy

On the morning of the wedding, Sharon unveils her Hollywood-style dress, complete with fairy wings. As Val parades her own outfit, Sharon pleads with her to behave at the wedding whilst wondering whether Rodney will even turn up following the previous night's events. Meanwhile, Val overhears Dan on the phone discussing a transfer and asks Jasmine to investigate.

As Rodney arrives just in time to escort Victoria into the wedding car, Val learns from Jasmine that Dan is in fact leaving his current club. With no time to act on this new information, the fairytale wedding is soon in full swing. However as the service reaches the point where the congregation are asked to voice any objections, Val stands up…Is she about to score an own-goal?

Elsewhere, Gray is still smarting from his run in with Dan the previous night and he and Perdy share their disdain for the WAG's wedding outside the café. As Bob arrives with the twins, Perdy fawns over them and Gray notes her enthusiasm. However she is soon upset when Gray brings up other options for them to have children. Is this destined to be the thorn in the side of their marriage forever?

31st may


Sharon tries desperately to smooth things over with Dan but has to resort to leaving him voicemail messages.

Worse follows as Paul shows her the local paper with Sharon's wedding disaster only making Page 5. Val, feeling terrible, pours out her woes to Diane who persuades her to go and talk to Sharon and try to make amends. A nervous Val, downs several brandies for Dutch Courage and sets off to find her daughter, but is Sharon willing to listen?

Meanwhile, David and Jasmine flirt in the café, but when Debbie butts in and insults her career prospects, Jasmine exits, leaving David to turn his attentions to Debbie. However, Lisa reminds her of David's treatment of Del but Debbie remains unperturbed. Eli shares Lisa's concerns but for an entirely different reason. Is David about to put another Dingle notch in his bedpost?

1st June

Rosemary returns to the village with a fresh resolve that she has nothing to hide away from. Carrie pledges her support to Rosemary so that they can resolve the situation with the King brothers. However, Rosemary decides on a direct approach and packs her bags to go back to Home Farm. Grayson tries to convince her that the idea is ludicrous but she claims that Tom would want her there. Will the Kings welcome her back with open arms?

Meanwhile, Billy joins Val for a drink in The Woolpack, goes out of her way to provide him with a very personal service in full view of Pollard. As Val and Pollard trade accusations he gets personal and insults Billy. How will Billy react to Pollards taunts?

Elsewhere, Perdy is shocked when Viv leaves the twins in her care. Viv mentions to Perdy that before she got pregnant she considered surrogacy. Could Perdy dream of a family still be realised?
