Following Press Officer Mia's night of 'undercover work' with the Super', Mia ignores Jack's warning leaving Mickey to find out it was Heaton she'd slept with. Mickey's fist follows his fury straight onto the chin of Heaton - hard! It's a sackable offence sending your boss flying over his desk.

So CPS Lawyer Matt Hinkley's ex Nina isn't dead! Emma can't believe her husband would lie about something like that. When she tells Matt she's leaving him, a fight breaks out and Emma hits Matt with a vodka bottle. Next thing she knows, she's waking up in a cell with Matt demanding she's charged with attempted murder.

Pooja Shah, best known for playing Meena in Bend it like Beckham, and Kareena Ferreira in EastEnders, takes on a dead-end job at The Bill playing Reshna Dewan. Jack and Sam investigate Reshna's death and gather evidence on a number of people with motives to kill her.

Jack and Sam work closely together again trying to put a stop to babies being sold in Sun Hill to childless couples. Jack wants to prove himself as a boss but makes a mistake, putting Sam and a tiny baby in danger.

Louisa Lytton joins The Bill as new recruit PC Beth Green. Beth's a hapless romantic who wears her heart on her sleeve. She a tad clumsy too and not afraid of use CS spray - albeit it a little too readily.

Little bit more on the Poojah storyline:



Poojah Shah, best known for playing Meena in Bend it Like Beckham and Kareena Ferreira in EastEnders takes a dead-end-job in The Bill.

She will be playing Rashna Dewan who will (as they say in the Sun Hill area) wind up ‘brown bread’.

With the tide out on the Thames, DI Sam Nixon discovers Rashna’s lifeless and drenched body on the muddy banks.
