Cool Emmerdale Spoilers 15th April - 20th April

Belle develops light fingers and pockets a packet of sweets from the Post Office. Once back home, Lisa is shocked to discover Belle’s latest criminal act and frogmarches her back to the shop to admit her crime. Viv looks to be taking the latest confession graciously until Belle’s speech of apology inadvertently reveals that Lisa called Viv a silly, deluded cow. Incensed, Viv immediately picks up the phone to the police. Could Belle be latest Dingle to be doing porridge?

Elsewhere, Vonda and Roxy drop by unexpectedly to see Bob and the twins. Once again, Vonda takes the opportunity to make barbed comments towards Bob’s distinct lack of fatherly care towards Roxy. However she provides Bob with the chance to make up for past mistakes when she reveals that she’s leaving Roxy temporarily in his care.

When Paddy sees how dejected Marlon is feeling with his lot, he talks him into going out for a few beers. Donna’s nose is put out of joint when she sees them heading towards the bus into town. When they board they are greeted by raucous cheerleaders making up a rowdy hen party.

    16th April

Roxy is pleased to get some time with her dad. After a drama filled morning Bob serves her up some lunch in the café. After starting to wolf her food down she quickly comes a cropper when she turns blue and begins to choke. Terrified, Bob runs over but is soon in a panic when he realises that he can’t do anything to help his daughter. Jimmy rushes to the rescue and performs the Heimlich manoeuvre. The irony of Jimmy saving his daughter’s life is not lost on Bob.

Elsewhere, Jo feels like she’s still playing second fiddle to Katie when Andy delays their lunch and eventually turns up accompanied by his ex. A smarting Jo takes umbrage and agrees to join two reps from a drugs company that she knows from work. Flirting openly, she distracts Andy from his dealings with Katie who insightfully realises what Jo’s game is and leaves the pub. Jo tells him that if he’s serious about her, he would divorce Katie. Is this really the end for Andy and Katie?

Viv takes things one step further and produces a ‘No Dingles’ sign for the shop. Bob and Zak, realising that things are getting out of control, put their heads together in order to try and force a resolution to the matter.

    17th April

Andy feels pulled in every direction by his responsibilities to Jo, Sarah and the farm. He finds solace in the Woolpack to drown his sorrows. Later, he drunkenly attempts to get into his car but Billy cons the keys from him, warning that he shouldn’t drive in his condition.

A fight ensues and Andy punches Billy to the ground. They continue to argue and as Andy flies at Billy, he defensively pushes him away causing Andy to slip and bang his head on the car. Andy takes the opportunity to lie, saying that Billy went for him and Jo calls the police who promptly turn up and arrest Billy.

Elsewhere, Carrie hits a nerve with Matthew when she comments the brothers had no idea about Tom’s charitable nature following news that Tom made a hefty donation to a local chidren’s home. Carrie quickly backtracks and apologises. As the villagers later help Carrie move, Matthew throws her by turning up with housewarming gifts for her and Scarlett. Is this a genuine attempt from Matthew to build bridges with Carrie?

The Dingle kids arrive back in the village and show obvious pleasure at being back with Marlon and Donna. However when Luke overhears that the couple have been living apart, he accuses them of putting on an act of togetherness.

    18th April

Andy continues to allege that Billy attacked him. Diane, having witnessed Andy’s behaviour in the pub before the incident, is suspicious of Andy’s story and Daz urges her to go to the police. Can Diane convince Andy to change his statement?

Meanwhile, Matthew goes to see Carrie with a business proposition, only to find Jimmy already with her. Jimmy is surprised to see Matthew and begins to feel sidelined by his new relationship with Scarlett. Matthew later puts his plan to Carrie that the two of them turn the vicarage into flats. Could Carrie be tempted into business with Kings?

Elsewhere there’s high jinks at the Dingle’s when Paddy falls victim to a whoopee cushion and a ‘suspect’ cup of tea. Unwilling to subject himself to any more tricks, he returns to the caravan only to find that Zak and Shadrach have filled it with hay. Stepping up a gear, Paddy later retaliates by glueing their boots to the floor whilst they sleep.

    19th April

When Carl interrupts a meeting between Matthew and Carrie his reaction is all too transparent and Matthew quickly cottons onto the fact that the two have history. Realising that Chas isn’t party to that information, he warns Carl that there’ll be hell to pay if she finds out. Carl concedes that it’s better to come from him and he reveals the one night stand with Carrie to Chas. How will Chas react to Carl’s old flame?

Bored with life Paddy re-enrols at college. When he comes face to face with Rita, he is confused when she accuses him of not calling her. When it’s revealed that the number was smudged, he’s thrilled when she gives him a second chance and they arrange a date for the next evening.

After Jimmy let him go, following his no show due to his arrest, Billy is left high and dry without a job. When Val suggests they take him on at the pub Jack is forced to put his foot down.

    20th April

After a heavy night’s drinking, a hungover Carl tries to make things up to Chas, but she isn’t interested. She runs into Carrie who tries to assure her that she’s no threat to their relationship. Feeling somewhat appeased, Chas decides to go home and accept Carl on his offer of a day out. Will Chas be able to put the issue behind them?

Elsewhere. Paddy wakes up surrounded by carnage and debris after his night on the town. Bleary-eyed, he emerges from the caravan only to find himself in alien surroundings, in a random field in the middle of nowhere. Paddy calls Rita who at first is incensed to hear his ‘latest excuse’ for getting out of their date tonight. However when Paddy finds himself face to face with a bull, the caravan starts to roll down the hill….

When a hunting party cancels, Rosemary is left with a table full of food and drink. Upon seeing Zak, she invites him to share the bounty with her. Meanwhile, Lisa’s unhappy when Zak doesn’t show for lunch. When Zak arrives home with the rest of the leftovers, Lisa isn’t impressed that Rosemary is hogging her husband.
