There was talk of this way back. Violet relaises that there is only a slim chance of her having a child and as her biological clock is ticking away her a Sean decide to have a child together. Whether or not they use the traditional method of conception or the turkey baster method was not disclosed.

    Steves Kiss Off

This is the moment Steve's been waiting for since toxic Tracy went down for murder.

After wooing Michelle with his needy single-parent credentials the pair eventually lock lips when Michelle confides in him about Paul's part in her husband's death.

But with her emotions running wild, and a failed engagement just a few months' ago, it could all be too soon for Michelle.

Actor Simon Gregson told ITV Soaps: “I think it's a little bit close to the previous event, but I do think she's ready now for somebody who's heterosexual!”

Despite growing closer to the lusty landlord, Michelle comes to her senses and pulls away after the kiss, leaving Steve very hungry for more.

However, despite their dithering, Simon is sure they'll eventually get it together, and even believes she could fill Karen's size nine stilettos.

“No one can ever really measure up to the madness of Karen, she was a one off,” added Simon. “But he's fallen for her big time, so hopefully all will go well for him.”

And with Steve's mum Liz heading for the aisle, we reckon a double splicing at the Rovers could be in order!

“We could sell it to a magazine!” laughed Simon. “I'm sure that'll be on the cards, it's highly possible. But I doubt whether Steve and Michelle will be thinking about weddings just yet …”

    Gail's 50th Birthday

This is the side-splitting moment when Audrey throws Gail a surprise 50th birthday party – only to discover she's actually 49!

Audrey's never been a model mum, but getting her own daughter's age wrong is a new low for the dipsy hairdresser. After all, she was there at the birth!

But as always, the real villain of the piece is devious David.

When Bill and Audrey ask the youngster to help them create a giant banner, he's only too pleased to whip out his brush to paint the words ‘Happy 50th Birthday' in giant red letters.

However, embarrassing his mum in front of the whole Street is small fry compared to the storyline actor Jack P Shepherd is currently filming for the tearaway teen.

“The storyline that's coming up next is completely different to what I thought it would be,” teased Jack. “He's never done anything like it before.”

    Corrie snippets...

It seems Leanne Battersby just can't have her cake and eat it.
Establishing an easy way to make a lot of money, people refuse to leave her alone to enjoy her funds without the way she got them becoming common knowledge.
Having escaped the watchful eye of Paul - for the moment - it's now Carla's turn to get suspicious and cause more aggravation for the brassy schemer. Desperate to raise the cash to go in with Liam's sister-in-law in a business venture, Leanne makes a swift re-appearance at her old agency, and then heads out for a drink with her new partner after signing the restaurant lease and contract.
However, when Carla is approached by one of Leanne's clients who expresses an interest about whether the pair work for the same firm, it looks certain the blonde escort girl's secret is about to come out.
Will Liam be the only one left in the dark?
Elsewhere, Claire and Ashley's nightmare following the fire refuses to extinguish when the butcher is interrogated about his wife's mental state and what caused her to be sectioned.
The young mum is taken in for questioning and it's not long before she thinks she's going to be locked up for good.
Kirk is dismayed when Fiz tells him she has started seeing someone else, and Derek and Liz come close to getting caught.

Carla and Leanne's partnership comes to an abrupt end when the businesswoman demands the truth about her former friend's relationship with Paul.

He intends to make her tell Liam about being a prostitute, but ends up being mortally wounded in a car crash.
Eventually, Leanne confesses all to her boyfriend - is this the end of the road for them?
Ken and Daniel's relationship continues to be rocky, but Denise allows her ex to stay longer - and even moves in for a kiss when he's feeling a little vulnerable.
Liz and Derek flirt at a licensees' party, despite being accompanied by their other halves, and Kirk asks Chesney to spy on Fiz to find out who her new boyfriend is.
Elsewhere, Sarah is seething with David for telling their mum about her plans to move Jason into the family home

    June 11th - 15th.

    monday june 11th
The Peacocks return from the Isle of Man, more upbeat – they’ve had a break away from Weatherfield. Claire and Ashley are surprised and touched when Roy and Eileen show them the work that has been done on No.4. This is a new start for the family but will they ever discover who started the fire?

Kirk is still worrying about Fiz. He tries to get some gossip from Maria about her new fella. She awkwardly tells him that she does not talk about him much. Kirk is convinced he does not exist and he tells Molly that he is definitely back in with Fiz. Will Fiz finally tell Kirk the truth?

David tells the Platts he is doing his exam today. He still avoids doing his revision before the exam saying that they are too easy. Feeling very smug David finishes the exam within the time set but before handing the paper back he sets it on fire with a lighter. Will the school stand for his latest stunt?

Elsewhere, it's Bethany's birthday in the Platts' household.

David is delighted with his stunt at the school. He tells Gail that he easily passed but keeps schtum about his stunt. Bethany's birthday is in full flow when the atmosphere is ruined by Mr Griffin's arrival. He tells Gail that David did make it to the exam but he caused bedlam. He is excluded from school but Mr Griffin agrees to let David do the rest of his exams if he signs a behaviour contract. He refuses to sign it but Gail thinks she has a solution to their problem. What has she got in store for David?

Fiz tries to tell Kirk about John but bottles it. Kirk is still convinced that he will win her back. Fiz makes dinner for John. As she says goodbye to John she kisses him but Chesney sees him. He is absolutely gutted and Fiz chases after him. Will Chesney tell Kirk?

Ashley’s putting up a cot for Freddie as Claire reports the police are no nearer to finding the arsonist. Ashley meets Kevin and voices his hope that things are back on track for him and Claire after their break. With the arsonist still at large, is Claire feeling as confident as Ashley?

Jerry continues to try his luck with Eileen even though she is flirting with someone on the phone in the cab office.

    Wednesday june 13th.
Sophie is gutted when Chesney tells her about Fiz and John and she is furious when she sees them together. Fiz brings John into the Rovers and shows him off. While having their drink they are interrupted by Norris who tells Fiz her bike has been vandalized. She is really upset when she sees her bike and jumps to the conclusion that Chesney has told Kirk about her secret man and he has destroyed her bike. How will Kirk react when she confronts him?

When the phone rings, Claire answers but there’s silence on the other end. Ashley reckons it was a wrong number but a tense Claire is not so easily convinced. She confesses she can’t relax and makes sure that every door and window is double bolted, much to Ashley's dismay. Does Claire still suspect it was Casey who started the fire?

Gail is still furious with David who still has no remorse for his actions. She asks Audrey to give him a job at the salon but when Bill says that it would not be hard enough graft for him, he ends up giving him a job in the builder's yard. How will David like his future mapped out for him?

Meanwhile, Gail agrees to Jason moving in, much to Sarah's delight.

    Friday 15th.
Gail puts pressure on Jason to be very matey with David on his first day labouring. A humiliated David is annoyed when Bill and Jason tease him on site. Afterwards Jason tries 'the mate thing' with David. However, David tells Jason that he is not into girls but that he is gay. How will Jason react to David's secret news?

Claire is still not sleeping and is becoming increasingly irritable and paranoid and doesn't want to leave the house. Ashley ends up snapping at her, insisting she can’t go on like this. Claire’s with Josh on the street when she spots a woman she thinks is Casey. She runs over, screaming that ‘she’s the woman who tried to kill me’. Josh is left stranded in the middle of the road, looking at an on coming car driven by Lloyd. Will there be more heart ache for the Peacocks?

Kirk is really upset about Fiz and and John, and is given some advice by Cilla. Fiz suggests to Sally that Sophie was the one who vandalised the scooter. After questioning her daughter Sally discovers it was indeed her. Fiz apologises to Kirk over the scooter accusation and asks if they can still be friends. How will Kirk react?

Elsewhere, Jerry tells Lloyd he is annoyed about Eileen always talking to streetcars customer Pat on the phone.

Ashley isn't enjoying his Father's day celebrations due to the tension in his home so decides to visit the the Websters. Once he leaves the house we see a familiar face standing in the phone box on the street. Claire meanwhile is alone in the house when she receives a silent call. Whilst ranting on the phone she hears someone in the garden. Terrified she goes to get Ashley. He investigates the garden only to discover Darryl bunking off work. Claire is convinced it was Casey but Ashley is doubtful leaving the pair divided. Who is the mystery person in the phone box?

David is still winding up Jason pretending that he is gay. Jason is determined to be matey with him admits to David that he is scared of heights while they are preparing to work on the roof on Jerry's take away. David comes down from the roof and removes the ladders leaving a terrified Jason stranded. A smug David admits to him that he is not gay and refuses to put the ladders back up till Bill arrives. How will Bill react to David's latest stunt?

Elsewhere, Jerry is enjoying his day off until he reads Wilf's obituary in the paper. Wilf explains he did it to help Mel's application to the police.

Eileen gets a visit from Pat at the cab office.
