Further Updates of Spoilers 8th April

    8th April
It is the first time Deirdre has seen Tracy since the end of the trial and she in uncertain about how the meeting will go after everything that has been said. Tracy wastes no time telling her mum exactly how she feels and Deirdre is forced to bid her daughter a tearful goodbye as Tracy says farewell to Coronation Street for the final time.

Hayley has had a restless night thinking about Joanne and is sure she knows who betrayed her. Meanwhile, at the factory, Paul is determined to get to the bottom of who tipped off immigration and he's surprised when Janice decides to confess that it was her. How will he react?

Jason is pleased when Bill tells him that he is thinking of buying the builders yard. But first Bill has to try and find the money. Sally is furious when Kevin tells her he has offered to invest in the business so Bill is left with no option but to approach Audrey for the cash.

Meanwhile Peter announces that he has decided to head home to Portsmouth and invites Adam to go with him.

    9th April

Eileen is really enjoying playing happy families now that Jason has finally started bonding with Holly so she is more than a little concerned when Holly's mum Emma suddenly shows up at the house. Emma seems confused about something and Eileen is horrified when she reveals that she is no longer sure that Jason is Holly's dad. It seems Charlie Stubbs had a habit of adopting a pseudonym when out on the pull and on the night her met her he told her his name was Jason Grimshaw! Having spotted his picture in the newspaper reports she now realises that it was Charlie she slept with and not Jason!

Jerry is worried to discover that Kayleigh has been shoplifting toothpaste of all things, from Dev's shop. He's even more concerned when he takes her back to her mum's to discover the house in a state of disarray and little Finlay home alone. Where is Theresa and what secret has Kayleigh been keeping from her dad?

Janice is in the doghouse for landing Joanne in trouble and no one has a clue how to get their friend back where she belongs Paul Connor wants to forget the trials and tribulations of the factory and challenges Dev and Steve to another round of golf. Is he really that much of a glutton for punishment?

Elsewhere Deirdre is distraught and stressed out at the thought of not seeing Tracy again and Ken's stiff upper-lip attitude doesn’t help.

Eileen is stunned by Emma's claims that Charlie is in fact Holly's dad and refuses to accept that the child she has cared for for almost four months is not her flesh and blood after all. She queries Emma's motives - is she actually concerned about the baby or is she really after Charlie's money? Emma insists that it is her child that she cares about but realises that Eileen is not going to give her up without a fight. As Emma leaves empty handed Eileen wonders how she is going to break the news to Jason.

Jodie and Darryl are shocked to discover that Kayleigh and Finlay have been left to fend for themselves whilst Theresa enjoys herself on holiday and they agree with Jerry that Finlay should stay with them. Jerry poses as a bailiff to repossess some of Theresa's things to make life more comfortable for them back on Coronation Street.

Bill is delighted when Audrey announces she has decided to invest in the builders yard and Jason is delighted that the future looks so rosy - unaware of the secret Eileen is keeping from him.

Elsewhere Paul loses another round of golf and advises Steve to bide his time with Michelle.

    11th April

It's a hectic morning in the Morton household and it appears that Mel and Darryl may even have forgotten it is their 18th birthday. But they soon remember when Jerry presents them with a car. Mel isn’t too keen at the thought of having to share it with her less than responsible twin. Later the party gets off to a swinging start with Jerry inviting all the neighbours in order to avoid complaints about the music. Initially unsure about the unruly clan, Gail is soon enjoying the party a little more than she had thought she would!

One resident not in the party spirit is Eileen who has a call from her social worker. She knows she now has a fight on her hands to keep baby Holly but she still has the task of telling Jason that he isn't Holly's dad. How will he react?

At the factory, Janice is still feeling terrible about what has happened to Joanne and her guilt is compounded when a shattered and broken Joanne returns and everyone offers to write glowing references for her to support her appeal.

Elsewhere Liz is tired of Vernon's schemes and scams and tells him it is time he got his act together - will she get through to him this time?

    13th April

Eileen is praying that Jason won’t reject Holly after her revelation in Wednesday's episode. Jason meanwhile is confused about his feelings. He was rail roaded into caring for Holly but now he has bonded with her he isn’t sure he can give her up even if she is Charlie's. Sarah is sympathetic but makes it clear it has to be his decision. Will he agree to help Eileen fight for Holly?

There are a few sore heads over at the Mortons' and next door Gail is feeling pretty rough but can't remember exactly why she feels so bad. It isn't until Jerry starts loudly mending the fence that the memory of the previous evening’s events comes flooding back to her.

Vernon has done another one of his disappearing acts so when Derek calls at the pub, Liz doesn’t say no to the offer of a date. She's stunned, therefore, when Vernon finally returns and surprises her with a proposal! Will she accept?

Meanwhile, at the factory, Liam thinks that Carla is pushing the girls too hard but she's confident that it won't be long before she's out of the red when the order is finished. Paul admits he is proud of how well his wife has done.
