    Sunday, March 11 2007

Still suspicious about Sarah's accusations, Deirdre is unnerved when she spots David and Tracy together again. Unable to shake her concern, she asks Jason if she can see the CCTV footage, which does little to settle her unease. Armed with the incriminating tape, Deirdre confronts a panicked Tracy, who tries to convince her mother that she's been comforting David who's still traumatised. She urges Deirdre to destroy the tape, but does she believe her daughter, and will she destroy the evidence?

Meanwhile, Carla is still disturbed by her husband's extreme reaction to Ryan's joyriding and, when his mood continues to worsen, she begins to suspect that he and Liam are hiding something from her.

Elsewhere, Sean's beside himself about the trouble he's caused and his plight worsens when Sonny pays him a visit. He tells Sonny that they can’t have a normal relationship under the circumstances and despite his feelings, he's resolute and tells Sonny to stay away. Will Sean be able get over his heart-break and forget Sonny?

Paul is still irritable after Ryan's joyriding incident and when he overhears Sean boasting to the factory girls about his relationship with Sonny he sees red and fires him before physically trying to remove him from the factory! The girls are outraged and much to Liam's horror decide to go on strike just before Liam's big meeting with potential buyers! Paul refuses to back down and when Carla sees him speed off in his car, she confronts Liam about why he's so on edge. What does Liam know?

Meanwhile, Janice arrives back from France assuming that her job at Underworld is still available. All the girls are happy to see her back but she's affronted when Liam informs her that she's been replaced by new girl, Vicky, and decides to support the girls with their strike!

Elsewhere, the Barlows head for Tracy's plea hearing and everyone looks nervous… that is everyone except Tracy! Peter is stunned at how confident his sister appears despite being told that she could face fifteen years in prison if she's found guilty!

Also, Dev's worried that he's losing his way with the ladies and enlists the help of Amber and Molly to give him a makeover!

Carla's convinced that Liam's hiding something from her and continues to probe him about why Ryan's joyriding provoked such a bad reaction from Paul. Meanwhile, the important buyer arrives for her meeting with the Connor brothers and is greeted by a picket line and an empty, disorganised factory! After a disastrous meeting and with Paul still missing, Liam decides to give a delighted Sean his job back!

Later, back at the factory, there's still no sign of Paul and Carla is increasingly anxious. Worried about his brother, Liam decides to let Carla in on his secret and reveals that Paul was responsible for Ryan's dad's death in the car crash. He was driving under the influence and Dean died instantly, so the two brothers decided to move his body to the driver’s seat to protect Paul! Carla is stunned as she tries to take in the fact that her husband has killed a man and kept it from her all these years. Where has Paul gone, and will his guilt over the crash prove too much for him?

Meanwhile, over at the Barlows', Tracy has delivered her 'not guilty' plea and as Peter marvels at his sister's confidence, it's clear that Deirdre is having serious doubts about whether to trust Tracy.

Elsewhere, Janice and Leanne catch up and Janice is impressed by Leanne’s new job in property and all her money and admits that she came back from Paris because she missed Weatherfield too much! Over at the Rovers, Peter likes what he sees of Maria and Liz and the delivery man Derek enjoy each others company over a drink!

Tracy returns from her pre-trial preparations with her barrister furious that he's interrogated her about the murder and won't tell her exactly what to say in court. As Tracy moans to her mother about the barrister warning her not to 'perform' in court, Deirdre's doubts about Tracy's story intensify and she decides to confide her fears in Ken. Will Deirdre turn a blind eye and try and disregard her suspicions or will she seek out the truth?

Meanwhile, at Underworld, Liam and Carla are anxious that they still haven't heard from Paul. In a bid to get him to return Liam leaves a message on his answer phone telling him that he's told Carla about his involvement in Dean's death, but as time goes on Carla becomes more and more concerned that Paul's disappearance might be more serious than they realise.

Over in the Rovers, Liz is disappointed when Vernon rejects her offer of a romantic meal. So when Derek makes a surprise visit to the pub she's flattered and agrees to let him take her out for a drink that evening! Liz gets all dolled up for her date with the charming delivery man, but just as they're about to leave Vernon unexpectedly arrives back to take her out! Poor Vernon is left feeling deflated as Liz instantly drops him to go out with Vernon!

Also, Peter tries his hardest to win over Maria, but will she dare to get involved with a Barlow?

Deirdre's decided that she can't just ignore her misgivings about Tracy and takes matters into her own hands by asking Gail about David's supposed "nightmares". When Gail reveals that he doesn't seem at all affected by the impending trial, Deirdre's perturbed.

Her fears only grow when Steve challenges Tracy's claim that she rowed with Charlie because he wouldn't let her leave, when he reveals to Deirdre that Stubbs had bragged that he was about to throw her out on the day of the murder. Tracy is furious that Deirdre's been snooping around and Deirdre's shocked when she's viciously berated by her daughter. Tracy's outburst only serves to heighten Deirdre's distrust of her. Will she continue to support her daughter?

Meanwhile, Paul's arrived home and Carla's relieved that he's safe but wants answers. She assures her husband that his secret's safe and makes him promise not to keep anything from her again. Later in the pub, the Connors make a concerted effort to play down Paul's disappearance to Michelle, but can Carla be trusted to keep Paul's secret?

Elsewhere, Claire and Casey seem to be growing closer, and Violet receives good news from the hospital when she's told that there's still a chance that she can conceive!

Also, Leanne continues to flash her cash and brag about the perks of her highly paid job, does it all seem too good to be true?

So Paul was invovled in Ryan's dad's death as a lot of us predicted. Now we know it's bound to come out soon i wonder what Michelle will think of that.

Thanks To Vicky For My Fab Banner!!!

And I have a feeling that Paul's involvement in Dean's death isn't the only shocker we have to come!

Of course I am really looking forward to the big upcoming storyline which is a follow on from the Sonny/Sean one. There are going to be some lovely scenes with Carla/Paul , but Ihave a feeling that Carla may well tell Michelle which will be a heartbreaker as Michelle and Paul are so close. Again I can see some lovely scenes.

Love the fact that we are now going to see a different darker side to Paul's character, we have seen hints of his darker moodier side already.

And Peter is back! I hope he is around for a while, sounds as though he maybe

Corrie is beocming very dramtic and gritty, which I love, but they also still have the softer, gentler storylines and of course a great deal of comedy.

Yep Corrie has really kept it's promise and Ijust can't wait until the next episode.

A Very Sexy and Brilliant Actor
