    Cool Corrie Spoilers 4th - 9th March 2007

    Sunday, March 4 2007 at 19:30 GMT on ITV1

Michelle's on cloud nine as Sonny arrives at her flat early, gets down on one knee and proposes properly with a beautiful engagement ring. But Steve's still proving to be a fly in the ointment as he tells everyone who'll listen that he saw Sonny kissing Sean.

Refusing to believe that Sonny's gay, Michelle tells Steve she's had enough of his lies. But when Sean calls in sick she realises she needs some answers if she's to silence Steve. As she marches over the street, Sonny, who's already at Sean's, is forced to hide out the back while Sean covers. But will he crumble when Michelle demands a few home truths from her once-loyal friend?

Leanne pays the Battersbys a visit who are more than impressed to hear she's been making her money in the property market. Back at Jamie's she then cooks her ex a slap up meal by way of saying thanks but as she prepares to leave to book into a hotel Jamie asks her to stay. Are they about to rekindle their romance?

Elsewhere, Claire's work is proving to be just the tonic she needed and as she continues to help Casey it's clear she's also helping herself.

And Rita's suffering after another heavy night out with Doreen, much to Norris' disapproval.

Michelle's satisfied with Sean's explantion about Sonny but when Liam hears about Steve's claims he smells a rat. Demanding the truth from Steve he begins to accept the logic of why would he lie. Back at work Liam tackles Sean who manges to bluff again but just as he thinks he's going to get away with it the Connor brothers call him to their office. Sean's heart sinks, and faced with the menacing might of both Liam and Paul, he finally starts to crumble.

As David prepares to head off to see Tracy's solicitor he attempts a quick grope at Tracy, reminding her he doesn't mind giving his evidence as long as the end result is worth it. But returning from the meeting full of bravado, David's shocked when Tracy issues him with a violent threat of her own, promising to break every bone in his body if he ever tries to grope her again. But has she done enough to scare him off?

Aware she can't stay at Jamie's forever, Leanne arranges to use Janice's flat, the only problem being they'll have to break in. It's not proving easy until Liam comes along and impresses Leanne with his breaking and entering skills. He's openly flirty with her but Leanne plays it cool and when Jamie fills her in on the new factory boss she's quick to insist she's not interested, maybe too quickly!

Meanwhile, Ashley's worried that Claire is getting too involved with counselling Casey as she continues to take out-of-hours phone calls.

Sean's broken and as the Connor brothers escort him over to the Rovers to confront Michelle he knows he's about to break her heart. Taking her into the back room it's one of the hardest things he's ever done as he reveals the truth about Sonny.

Michelle's devastated and rushes from the pub in tears. The betrayal's too much for her and when Sonny arrives at her flat he gets a cold reception as she tells him the engagement's off. Sonny tries to make his excuses as he pleads with Michelle to give him another chance. Will he be able to win her round or is Sonny's game up?

As the Barlows discuss David's mature attitude, Tracy's had enough and when she receives a text from him she knows it's now or never. Waiting in the ginnel Tracy feels cornered and she hates it. David wants his reward and he's not prepared to wait any longer. Has Tracy got any stalling tactics left or is she about to give into David's demands?

When Leanne refuses to let Liam pay for Janice's broken door he takes her brush off as a come on. Jamie tries to warn him about getting his fingers burnt if he messes with her but is Liam prepared to listen?

Elsewhere, Vernon goes AWOL on a taxi job, and Norris is thrilled when Rita refuses to let Doreen gatecrash his birthday celebrations.

David knows Tracy's stalling and he's not prepared to wait for his reward till after the trial. Tracy's time's up and as she asks Jason for the keys to Charlie's flat she can't quite believe what she's being forced to do. Thinking on her feet she asks Adam to call her at a set time before inviting David round to the flat. Once there Tracy starts playing for time but when Adam gets caught up in a drinking game and forgets to call with her get out, it looks like Tracy is going to have to go through with her seduction of David after all.

Meanwhile, Jason's not fooled by Tracy's explanation for wanting the keys to Charlie's but when he turns on the CCTV of the flat he gets more than he bargained for when he sees her entering with David. What will he make of their intimacy?

At the Rovers the atmosphere's icy as Michelle and Sean come face to face. Realising the truth is out, Steve tries not to look smug as Michelle admits he was right about Sonny. As she thanks him for his support Steve thinks he's in, but when she overhears him telling Lloyd it's his chance now how will she react?

Elsewhere, Sonny hasn't given up on finding love in Coronation Street and turns his attentions to Sean. How will he respond?

Leanne reveals she's interested in buying Jamie's house and she'll give him first refusal if she rents it out.

And over at Underworld the factory girls aren't exactly making new recruit Vicki's life easy as they attempt to play a few tricks on her. But Vicki's no easy target.

Sarah's stunned when Jason shows her the CCTV tape of Tracy and David entering the flat. David tries to bluff his way out of it but Sarah's convinced there's something going on and confronts Tracy in the café. Tracy tries to brazen it out as Sarah warns her to stay away from David, but Deirdre's heard too much and wants an explanation. Tracy tries to stall but Deirdre's not budging as she demands to know the truth. Will Tracy be able to put her off the scent or is the awful truth about David's 'evidence' about to be uncovered?

When Michelle tells Ryan about her split with Sonny he's convinced it's his fault and decides to find out for himself. But arriving at Sonny's he's shocked to find Sean already there and guesses the truth. Angry and hurt, Ryan takes off in Sonny's car and when Michelle gets a call from the police she's devastated to hear the effect her break-up's had on her son. Back on the street she tries to talk to Ryan but Paul decides it's not the time for talking as, losing his rag, he hits Ryan.

Elsewhere, Liam's interested to hear that Jamie's house is for sale and that Leanne's a potential buyer.

And Liz's annoyance at Vernon's latest disappearing act is eased when she meets new delivery man Derek and the pair instantly hit it off.

I can't believe Sean through this storyline. Lying to Michelle about Sonny, and carrying on with Sonny behind her back. It seems like Sean gets back with him after they brake up as well. For someone who is all about friendship, it's not very nice behaviour is it?!

I love Sean as well. I hope he does something to redeem himself.

Sean is great and I am just loving all these lad get togethers Speaking of which a bit of an advanced spoiler

    Spoiler:
Paul Connor introduces Dev/Steve to the game of golf at the country club he goes to and they all get together for a game. Paul makes out that he is crap at the game whereas in actual fact he is a pro, he does this to con cash out of the two. Dev becomes a real fanatic and spends 100's of pounds on golfing equipment and even turns the aisles of his shop into bunkers for golfing practice. So glad that these three have been put together and can see some hilarious moments with friendly banter/arguments and of course a bit of foul play

Yes Corrie really do stick to their promises of fantastic storylines.
