But David manages to turn things around when he tells her that Charlie tried to kill him by drowning him in a bath. She is now impressed and sure he will make a fantastic witness. He later calls her and says he will testify but she will have to make it worth his while. Sensing her desperation David has been struck by an evil idea. He tells Tracy he wants her to be 'good' to him. Tracy is initially disgusted and tells him she would rather go to jail than go near him, but David is resolute. Will Tracy cave in?

David keeps up his campaign of manipulation by telling Tracy that he is still making up his mind about testifying in court for her. Meanwhile the Barlows head to court and are dumbstruck when they are told that they are not entitled to legal aid which could mean a bill of up to £150,000.

Tracy realises just how much she is about to loose and asks David to meet her round the back of number six. David can’t quite believe his luck when she offers him wine, a kiss and a lot more if he will testify. David is on the roof and leaves with a massive smile on his face, but Tracy feels terrible about it and hates herself for what she has resorted to.

Elsewhere, Hayley tracks Becky down to a grubby hostel and eventually makes amends with Becky and offers her job back at Roy’s Rolls.

Also Steve is starting to feel a bit restricted by seeing Tracy again and decides to go on a big lads night out. Sean (Antony Cotton) is also going with Lloyd and Jamie so it’s clear that it won’t be a quiet time as the lads get together for Friday!

It’s the big night out for some of the boys of Weatherfield and Michelle can't help but tease Steve over his bright shirt. They arrive at the revamped bar and get stuck into the drinks and ogling the women.

Lloyd and Sean enjoy some banter and Sean suggests they all go to a club later. But on his way to the loo Sean bumps into Sonny who tries to persuade him to go with him elsewhere. The two men start to get closer and when Steve tries to find Sean for them to leave, he discovers them together. What will Steve do with this explosive information? Will he tell secret love Michelle?

Tracy is still feeling vulnerable and worries that Steve is going off her. She goes home from the pub and David calls her on her mobile phone. She turns on her seductive voice and wishes him goodnight. But this is all a con for Tracy who feels disgusted with herself as soon as she puts the phone down.

And Tyrone is fixing a car but can’t help wondering what the object is in the man's boot. His imagination starts to wander as he and Kirk think it is a gun but it turns out to be an old metal detector. The customer then gives it to a thrilled Tyrone who is convinced this is going to make him his fortune!
