Tracy and Steve relax in each other's company
    Sunday, February 11 2007 at 19:30 GMT on ITV1

The Barlows have pulled out all the stops for Amy’s birthday but with most of her fiends a no show the adults are forced to join in the party games. Despite the poor turn out, the party’s a success and as Tracy and Steve settle Amy down for bed it’s a contented atmosphere. With their daughter asleep Tracy and Steve relax into each others company. But as the flirting gets heavier Steve goes to leave. Will he be able to walk away or will temptation prove too much for the erstwhile lovers?

Fiz is struggling to cope with the upkeep of a teenage boy and when she catches Cilla and Les pouring their money into a slot machine she’s had enough and storms round to the Battersbys'. Moving quickly, Fiz and Kirk load up all their shopping and make a run for it. How will Cilla react when she realises she’s been robbed? The fight’s just got dirty!

With Bill helping him on the bakery job, Jason’s attitude is blasé as Jodie inspects his work. But Jodie’s wise to it as she reveals she has every faith…in Bill.

Elsewhere, Norris is still whinging about Doreen despite Rita’s protestations that she’s made her feel 20 years younger, and Liam’s getting stick from everyone about his fling with Joanne.

Eileen’s had enough of Jason dodging his responsibilities and after another sleepless night she tells her son he’ll be looking after Holly today. With the baby on site, Jason can’t work and when Jodie warns him if things don’t improve he’s out of a job Jason despairs. Having to cancel his lunch with Sarah Jason’s bad mood is fuelled and eventually even she loses patience with his moaning about childcare. Returning home, Jason’s exhausted and unhappy. But when he wakes from his sleep Holly is gone. Jason freezes with panic as he realises the back door is open.

Steve’s caught red handed by Blanche as he tries to sneak out of the Barlows'. With their night of passion common knowledge, both mums are worried and as Tracy turns on the charm so is Steve. Making it clear he hasn’t got time for her, Steve’s insistent it was a one off. But when he sees the effect news of his fling has on Michelle he can’t help feeling pleased that he’s made her jealous. How will Steve handle the women in his life now?

With the fight for Chesney now turning dirty, Cilla focuses on the home comforts she can offer, and when Fiz catches him scoffing chips just as she’s about to give him his dinner she realises it’s war.

Meanwhile, Norris is unimpressed when Rita wakes from her night out with Doreen with a stinking hangover, and Paul urges Liam to keep his hands off their workforce in future.

Unable to find Holly, a frantic Jason tells Gail and Sarah he’s lost her. Panicking they call 999 just as Eileen arrives with Holly, having taken her for a walk. With calm restored, Jason talks to Violet, confiding that a part of him was glad she’d gone, and as he’s left home alone again holding the baby it’s clear he’s come to a major decision. Picking up the phone Jason dials social services, but will he be able to go through with his plan?

Realising the impact his night with Tracy has had on Michelle, Steve decides to build on this and asks Tracy out. He knows he’s playing with fire but as he and Michelle try to get one over on each other about their respective partners it looks like his plan is working. As she goes on her date with Sonny Michelle taunts Steve, leaving Tracy asking some difficult questions about their relationship.

Elsewhere, Chesney’s hanging out at the Battersbys' again, watching TV and eating pizza, and when he hides behind the sofa as Fiz looks for him it appears that Cilla’s winning the war. She wants him home for good but Les warns her not to push him. Are Cilla’s dirty tricks working on Chesney?

And Carla’s unamused by Paul’s lack of interest in her new business venture.

Sarah’s disappointed that Jason’s forgotten Valentines Day but he’s got other things on his mind as he awaits the arrival of social services. On cue a social worker arrives telling a worried Eileen she needs a little catch up. Explaining there’s been a complaint, Eileen’s furious but as the social worker reassures her that the last thing she wants to do is take Holly away, Jason’s gutted. The visit over, Eileen’s determined to know who grassed them up, pointing the finger at both Gail and Steve. Will Jason be forced to come clean about his plan to get rid of his daughter?

Michelle and Sonny are cosy after a night of love and as Steve watches their loving banter in the Rovers he chooses his moment to give Tracy a kiss. It clearly has the desired effect as Michelle suffers a twinge of jealousy, is his plan working?

Chesney’s been back at the Battersbys' but feeling guilty he lies to Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) that he spent the day with Sophie. Fiz is starting to wonder and when Cilla asserts there’s no place like home she realises she may be losing the fight.

Elsewhere, Norris gets a surprise Valentines Day card and Becky starts work on her big gift for the Croppers.

    Friday, February 16 2007 at 19:30
Becky’s finished her present for the Croppers but when she offers her carefully wrapped gift to Hayley, apologising for her recent behaviour, Hayley doesn’t want to know and tells a stunned Becky to stuff her present.

Later, as Lloyd spots smoke coming from the café, the Croppers are alerted and as the call is made to the fire brigade Lloyd rushes into the building. Emerging with a coughing Becky the accusatory stares start. Becky’s insistent she didn’t do it but after the day's events there’s only one person for Hayley to point the finger at.

Elsewhere, Eileen knows she’s got to make changes if she’s going to keep Holly, despite Jason’s protestations that he’s not prepared to play happy families. Arranging a job share with Claire she tells Jason that from now on she’ll be bringing up Holly without his help. But is this what he wants?

Kirk warns Fiz that Chesney might be ready to go back to the Battersbys'. Worried she tells Chesney it doesn’t matter if he does but is she prepared for his reply?

His detective work complete, Norris is convinced Sally is behind his mystery Valentines card. But as he starts up some serious flirting with her, Sally’s confused and sends Kevin round. Norris has got some serious explaining to do but when they dig a little deeper it looks like he’s not the only one.

And Steve and Michelle continue to taunt one another.
