Neil and Sam are like chalk and cheese. Neil wouldn't be able to cope with Sam's demands. Neil isn't really Sam's type anyway, Sam likes somebody who is at her beck and call and Neil won't do that. Plus, they just DON'T go together. I can see sparks fly with them just sharing an ofice - of the angry type, not the love.

Anyway, Sam has had too many big storylines recently - Romania, her romances with Stuart and Phil and being the new DI. If they give her another one it won't be fair.

no, i can't see the appeal of putting sam and neil together either. i know i may be a little, ok a lot, biased towards phil, but . . . i don't know. i just can't see the two of them having any kind of long lasting relationship! they just don't fit. at all!
