    It was that last one that freaked me out and the bucket the rest were reasonable normal.

    i had baby reins too and the wrist strap ones i think as well. how else are you meant to keep your kid from running off?

    I had baby reins and a wrist strap for Marley when she was a baby. But the other stuff is just freeky. I was out shopping on Saturday and I saw a baby in a buggy with one of those dummy's with the false teeth no lie.

    i dont see anything wrong with baby reins either and lots of people still use them but some of the other stuff was just OTT!

    My brother and I both had those reins when we were kids - does anyone else remember "skydiving" rather than hitting the pavement when you fell over as your mum lifted them up quick?

    My siblings and I had baby reins and they are much safer than the wrist strap, as was demonstrated one time when it's slack anyone can undo it and take the child. With reins it's easier to keep the child within easy reach, and pull the child out of harms way.

    As for the rest who dreamt up this stuff???
