Stingray struggles to deal with his impending fatherhood, but the more he reads about being a dad, the more he freaks out - and the more tempting the hotel mini-bar seems. Stingray takes Toadie’s advice and visits Sky who reassures Stingray he will make a great father and invites him to an antenatal class. Stingray accepts and is ecstatic to feel his baby kick for the first time. Unfortunately, when Loris learns of Stingray’s drinking problem she insists he attends an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in favour of the antenatal class. When Stingray finally comes to visit, Teresa intercepts him and lies that Sky doesn’t want him around. He selflessly gets out of her life, and an unwitting Sky is forced to doubt Stingray’s commitment to fatherhood.

Teresa eagerly takes Stingray’s place as Sky’s partner for the antenatal class. But when Teresa severely berates Sky for making light of the class, and becomes territorial over the baby, Sky sees a different side of her roommate and starts to question Teresa’s motives for taking such a keen interest.
