Brad panics, as he continues trying to rouse Emily. He lifts her into his arms and rushes back to the boat. Meanwhile on the beach, Cassie’s confussion over Ric and Macca continue, with Ric telling her on the phone how much he misses her as Macca turns up and reckons they can’t ignore their feelings for each other any longer. Cassie tells Macca to go, but as he does, he turns to see Brad waving madly, calling out for help. Macca and Cassie run down and see Emily, unconscious in the boat! At the hospital, Emily is in the treatment room as the frantic Brad causes a scene, demanding to know what’s going on. Sally rushes in after being called by Cass and immediately pulls Brad into a comforting hug. Rachel soon arrives having heard the news as Dr Green emerges explaining that Emily’s in pretty bad shape – she isn’t going to be getting any better from here. It’s a heart breaking moment as Brad asks how long she’s got? Only a couple of days at the most. Brad remains stoic as he asks to see Emily. She’s still unconscious as he takes her hand, a man on the edge, only just keeping it together. Rachel watches on sadly from the doorway. Emily eventually stirs, wanting to know what happened – he doesn’t let on what he knows about how much time she has left, but instinctively, she already knows. They both attempt to be light, despite what they both know is so near, as Emily grips Brad’s hand tightly, tears welling in their eyes.

Rachel lays in Kim’s arms as he thanks her for helping resolving the Tara situation. Rachel remarks he saved her from Charlie, so now they’re even. It’s been a rough few months – no need to leave Summer Bay now… Kim mentions that he still wants to go to the city – afraid that the damage is already done. The charges are dropped, but; people still talk and so many turned on him. Rachel is unsettled to hear this… Having heard about it, Martha tells Kim he’s crazy to leave – his life is here! People will come around eventually. This as Colleen arrives in her work out gear with her bowls friends – they’re ready for training! Kim can’t help but smile, maybe Rachel and Martha are right after all. He calls Tony at the Gym who offers Kim the position of co-manager – Amanda is cool with it and Kim agrees to come back. Rachel is pleased to hear it as Martha rushes off to organize a celebration dinner with all of Kim’s mates.

Cassie is upset about Emily as Macca drops her home. As he tries to comfort her, their eyes lock and the URST between them is stronger than ever. Cassie breaks the moment asking him to leave, he tries to get her to admit to what she feels, but she won’t hear of it. Macca backs off and heads to Martha’s, leaving a confused Cassie in his wake. Martha is preparing food when Macca arrives, just as she gets a text from Jack saying he won’t be home for dinner. She’s really over this wife of a cop thing! She asks Macca to stay for a bite to eat at the gathering for Kim – Macca wonders if Cassie’s coming? Martha’s immediately suss as he asks questions about Cassie and Ric’s relationship. She tells Macca to not even think about going back there – but he pretends that it’s natural curiosity about his ex… Later that night, the dinner party is underway – Kim comes off the phone, reporting that Rachel is staying at the hospital with Brad and Emily as Cassie arrives. She sees Macca and says she’ll go, but Martha urges her to come in. Cass moves in, locking eyes with Macca. As usual, Macca is the life of the party – and Cassie can’t help but smile – this is the guy she fell in love with. She helps clean up to distract herself and Macca follows closely behind. Unnerved, Cassie apologises to Martha and leaves, leaving Macca frustrated by further rejection.

The next day, Cassie is talking to Ric – he senses something is up – but she covers, quickly ending the call as Macca approaches. He tells her to cut the crap – there is something between them and she can’t deny it – he wants to be with her and knows she wants it too. What they had was unique and he knows they can have that again. Macca knows she doesn’t want to hurt Ric – but thinks she’s just hurting herself by living a lie and ignoring her heart. They hold eye contact and Cassie’s resistance is waning, until finally Macca leans in and kisses Cassie – she kisses him back, swept up in the moment of passion!

    4th Jan
Macca and Cassie break from their kiss – she regrets it instantly – what are they doing?! Macca thinks they’re following what they both want – but Cassie can’t stop thinking about Ric. She apologises to Macca as she runs off, overwhelmed with what she’s just done and once she reaches home, breaks down and cries… Later that day, Matilda asks Cassie if anything’s wrong, she isn’t herself. Cassie is initially reluctant to open up, but eventually reveals that she kissed Macca – Mattie can’t believe it! Cassie tries to explain her feelings, but Mattie thinks she’s making a big mistake. Jack’s reaction is much the same to Mattie’s, when Macca tells him about the kiss – he begs Jack to keep it to himself. Macca feels bad about Ric, but can’t deny how he feels. Cassie arrives home to find a large bunch of flowers and reads the card to find they’re from Ric – missing you heaps. This is getting really difficult… Cassie heads to the bar to find Macca closing up and explains that she’s been thinking about the kiss and that they can’t continue – it’s not fair on Ric. Macca’s not happy and let’s her know it, telling her to make a choice – him or Ric. Cassie chooses Ric and moves off. Macca is pretty hurt as he continues to pack up – Cassie lingers at the doorway, watching him – their eyes lock and she can no longer deny her heart – they come together in a passionate embrace. She apologises for acting the way she did, she does want to be with him and will tell Ric the truth as soon as he’s back from the city. Cassie admits that no ones going to be happy about this – Macca knows it too, but this is what they both want…

Matilda is clearly nervous about her surgery as Beth and Lucas do their best to cheer her. She smiles, and Lucas is pleased to find that he is not awkward being around her – just as golden boy Dean arrives with a bunch of flowers for Mattie and she’s thrilled and once again Lucas feels invisible. Dr Price enters, explaining the procedure that Mattie is going to have. She’s clearly nervous, but needs rest – so they all leave her to it. Later that day, Lucas sees Dean near the beach with the guy Dean claimed to be his brother. Dean isn’t happy as they begin to argue and Lucas watches on, curiously. He approaches to see if everything is okay, Dean says it is before skulking off… Lucas then tells Drew and Belle about it as Dean barrels into the surf club – Drew knows the guy from boarding school – Lucas asks about Dean’s brother, but Drew says he’s an only child. So who was the guy he was arguing with? Lucas approaches Dean on the beach and asks why he lied to him about having a brother. Dean gets flustered and tells Lucas to rack off – he’s just jealous that he’s with Matilda! And storms off, leaving Lucas increasingly perturbed. He goes to see Matilda, letting her know that something isn’t right with Dean – the lies etc and that she should steer clear of him. Matilda is furious that he’d tell her these things – and right before her surgery! Dean shows up and Mattie tells Lucas to go. Dean insists that Mattie forget everything Lucas said – he’s just jealous. Mattie agrees as Dr Price arrives to take Mattie to surgery – all wishing her well. Later that afternoon, Lucas makes it clear to Dean that he won’t let him hurt Mattie, Dean tells him fiercly to stay out of his way or he’ll regret it!

Belle and Drew laugh together as she tries to convince him to pose nude for an art assignment – Dan and Leah watch on, glad to see Drew happy and not letting being framed for the pyro crimes get to him. As they wonder why he’d be framed we cut to Jack at the Station trying to figure out the case. He’s baffled – the targets seem random and the only reason Drew is the target is for an easy scapegoat or someone’s set up the whole scenario to deliberately target him… Jack finds Drew and asks him if he’s had any trouble with any locals or kids at school? Drew can’t think of anyone and thinks all the questions are a bit weird… Later as he walks to the Surf Club with Belle, a mystery voyeur takes photos of Drew from a distance… As a canister of kero and a box of matches sits on a table and a stack of photos of Belle and Drew is dropped down. Someone is targeting Drew… But who? And why?

Cassie assures Macca that she wants this – but knows Ric will hate her for it. Macca tries to comfort her – but it’s not going to be easy to break Ric’s heart…

On their way out from the Diner, Belle & Drew bump into Amanda and Drew is instantly flustered to see her after his recent incident of seeing Amanda naked so drew quickly makes an exit. She moves into the Diner and Dan comments how well things are going with Drew and Belle after they had their chat. Irene is pleased too and invites Amanda, Belle and Drew over for lunch – Amanda thinks it’s a great idea and will tell the kids. At the surf Club, Belle is still trying to convince Drew to pose naked for her art project as Amanda arrives, telling them about lunch at Irene’s then moves to the gym to start her work out. Drew can’t take his eyes off her… Belle is a bit bemused by Drew’s vagueness as she talks to him, but thinks nothing of it. Amanda then comes over to Drew, sweaty and sexy and asks him to drop by the house – she wants him to check something with the pool. Flustered, he agrees, before making another quick exit with Belle… Later that day, Amanda walks into the house from the pool, looking hot in her bikini and Drew arrives to help her with the pool. Amanda tells him she saw the way he was looking at her at the gym and that he doesn’t have to pretend anymore… As she moves in to kiss him, Drew wakes with a start from a dream! He reminds Belle that they have to get to Irene’s for lunch… Drew is quiet throughout, unable to make eye contact with Amanda – the poor guy is really finding this difficult. How the hell did he get himself in this mess?!

Jack is still trying to find a connection between the pyro and Drew, but not having much luck, when Dave the fireman arrives wanting to see how things are going. He questions Rice about it in detail and Jack can’t help but find it a little suss. After Dave moves off, Jack asks Rice what he thinks – but Rice doesn’t think it’s odd – the guy is following up a case – it’s his job – but Jack decides to take a look at Dave’s file and finds that he lived near Drew’s boarding school and wrote a report about a fire at the school – and notices that Dave moved to the Bay only two weeks before the first pyro attack. Rice thinks it’s sheer coincidence. Adams arrives to report that forensics have found DNA on the canister of kero found at the latest fire – the results should be in soon. Dave then returns to pick up his hat that he left behind and Jack subtly quizzes him and is surprised when Dave lies about where he was trained… Is Dave the pyro after all? He calls the academy Dave trained at and learns that he was involved in an unauthorized fire that nearly got out of hand – in Jack’s eyes it’s further proof that Dave could be the one they’re after… Rice still isn’t convinced as Adams rushes in with the DNA results – it’s a positive match and they won’t believe who with. Jack grabs the papers and is stunned to learn that the DNA belongs to Peter Baker! What the…?!?!

Jack and Rice are reeling from the discovery that the hair found at the crime scene matches the DNA of Peter Baker. Jack insists it can’t be right, considering he has Peter’s liver, so therefore the only logical explanation is that someone is trying to frame a dead man – but why? Adams comes off the phone from Jimmy at forensics with the news that the evidence (piece of Peter’s hair) found at the Bob Radcliffe crime scene some months ago has been checked out by someone posing as a police officer. But Jack is stunned when Adam’s reveals this person’s name is Dave Elder…uh-oh…could the fire man be the pyro?

Dave is hauled into the station for questioning but he remains adamant he knows nothing. Dave angrily defends himself and insists that whoever is trying to frame Drew is now trying to frame him as well. Jimmy from forensics is brought in to identify the man posing as a police officer, but from the line up, Dave is not identified. Jack and McGrath are thrown – if it’s not Dave then who could it be? Jimmy sifts through police records in an attempt to identify the man they are searching for. Suddenly, he is distracted by a picture on the wall of Constable Evan Rice receiving a bravery medal. To everyone’s shock, Jimmy announces he is the guy they are looking for. Oh my god - Rice is the pyromaniac?!

The search is on to find Evan Rice, who has done a runner from the station. Jack and McGrath, who are still astonished are slowly piecing together the clues. Meanwhile, Rice is frantically packing up his belongings back at home, knowing full well he is about to busted. Jack and McGrath pull up out the front of Rice’s apartment and approach with caution. When there is no answer at the door, they barge in, but much to their frustration, Rice has escaped! Jack and McGrath search through the apartment and find kero and photos of Drew – it’s the last nail in the coffin for Rice. At that moment, a call comes through on the radio – Rice’s vehicle has been spotted. Eventually, the officers catch up with Rice after a speeding car chase. Rice panics and flees from his car but the others are on to him quickly and bring him to the ground. The game is over and Rice is well and truly busted now!

At the station, Rice is being interrogated, at first, he is reluctant to speak but eventually he agrees to do so, on the proviso they will protect him. Jack and McGrath are curious – who does he need protecting from? The mystery thickens as Rice explains he was forced to frame Drew for the fires and if he didn’t abide by their demands, then his life would be over. Rice is charged with arson and accepting bribes. Jack makes one final plea to Rice for names of who has been behind all of this. Rice remains tight lipped but issues the final chilling statement that Drew is in more danger than anyone could possibly imagine!

Drew approaches Lucas, who has just emerged from the surf. Dean passes by and overhears the other two talking about him. Dean cuts in and warns them to mind their own business. Lucas is suspicious that Dean may have something to do with trying to frame Drew – after all, he’s obviously hiding something. Drew takes this in thoughtfully and moves off on a mission to find out more. Later, Drew catches up with Lucas to deliver the news he’s found some major dirt on Dean. Apparently, he was expelled from his last school for setting the principal’s car alight. Lucas is stunned that Dean has a history of lighting fires and Drew begins to wonder if Lucas has been right all along. But what will they do now? Lucas and Drew are later confronted by Dean and much to their surprise, Dean reveals that the pyro has been caught. Drew is confused as to why Rice would want to frame him but is oblivious to the true danger that is lurking…

…It’s getting late and Drew is on his way home in the dark. Suddenly, someone rushes up behind him and clobbers him over the head, knocking him out cold. Drew lay on the ground – dead still….will he survive??

Drew remains unconscious on the ground and there is not a single soul in sight. Meanwhile, Jack is telling Harper they must warn Drew he may be in trouble but little do they know, it’s too late. Jack is just about to head out of the Station when he crosses with Martha. Jack apologises for being caught up at work and insists Martha head home and crack open a bottle of wine – he will be home soon. Martha is clearly disappointed, this keeps happening and her frustrations are only just being kept under wraps.

Amanda and Belle are at the Diner picking up some takeaway when Jack comes in, searching for Drew. Leah and Dan are on alert as Jack fills them in that Drew may be in danger. Amanda and Belle on their way home when they hear a pained groan. Amanda rushes towards a figure lying on the ground and is shocked to discover it’s Drew. Belle races to the Diner to get help as Amanda does all she can to comfort Drew. Jack, Leah and Dan race to the rescue and Drew is taken to hospital. Jack and Harper begin their questioning as Drew is tended to. Drew is stunned to hear he is being targeted but he remains strong, insisting he won’t let some thug intimidate him. Drew suggests the only person he can think would be after him is Dean. Amanda arrives and Drew is grateful for her help. She reaches out and touches his arm in a comforting gesture but Drew flinches. Although, it goes unnoticed by the others in the room, Amanda is slightly thrown by Drew’s odd reaction.

Lucas is sitting in the dark alone when Beth, Tony and Matilda arrive home. He is happy to see Matilda but his mood turns sour when he realises Dean is in tow. With Drew’s situation in mind, Lucas rips into Dean for hurting Drew. Dean and the others are shocked by Lucas’s outburst but when Tony tries to calm him down, Lucas storms off, leaving Dean very rattled. Later, Matilda confronts Lucas and demands that his attack on Dean come to an end. But Lucas remains adamant that Dean is up to something. And sure enough, the guy in question is in the Diner on a phone call – Dean is agitated as he tells the person on the other end that he cares about Matilda and doesn’t want her getting caught in the crossfire. What secret is Dean hiding?

Back at the station, Jack gathers up his things and gets ready to head home. He mentions he will investigate any grudges Dean may have against Drew. Suddenly, Jack realises what time it is and his heart sinks – he’s missed dinner again… He tentatively arrives home and as expected, Martha is far from impressed. Martha doesn’t want to hear his excuses and it’s clear he’s well and truly in the dog house! Things are still frosty the next morning and Jack knows he has to work hard to make things up to Martha. Jack becomes defensive as Martha accuses Jack of caring more about his career than their marriage. Martha storms off, leaving Jack stunned – his relationship is in more trouble than he thought!

Belle is pleasantly surprised to discover Drew is already out of hospital. She opens the door and lets him in but Drew is instantly awkward when he spots Amanda in a sexy robe. Oblivious to Drew’s wandering eyes, Amanda fusses over him, making him breakfast and insisting he rest. All the while, Drew is finding it very hard to keep his mind on track. Despite Amanda’s protests, Drew gets stuck into her gardening. Amanda later spots Drew working up a sweat with his shirt off and moves over to comment on his physique. It’s all innocent from Amanda’s point of view but Drew becomes completely flustered. Suddenly, he becomes dizzy and stumbles off the ladder. Amanda assists him to sit down, but again, when she touches Drew, he pulls away. Amanda wants to know if something is wrong. After much persuasion, Drew decides to bite the bullet and admits he can’t get her out of his mind – he’s completely attracted to her. Amanda is absolutely stunned!

Dean has undergone questioning with the police over Drew’s attack but his alibi checks out and he is free to go, much to Lucas’s disappointment. Lucas confronts Dean again but Matilda rips into Lucas, insisting he is a complete idiot. Dean has had enough and storms off, leaving Matilda absolutely fuming. Dean storms up to the cliff top to meet Gareth, closely followed by Lucas, who is careful not to be seen. His curiosity is instantly piqued as he watches a heated argument erupt between the two guys. Lucas is certain he is about to discover the truth but nothing prepares him for the sight of Gareth and Dean leaning in for a kiss. Lucas can’t believe his eyes – Dean’s secret is he’s gay?!

    10th jan
Lucas arrives home, still stunned after seeing Gareth and Dean, he knocks on Mattie’s door – she’s still annoyed following their earlier confrontation and he knows he must tread very carefully so he declares he’s got something really important to tell her. Matilda guesses it has to do with Dean again and immediately goes into shutdown mode. Lucas is just about to spill the beans when Dean arrives and plants a big kiss on Matilda. Lucas is completely at a loss – the nerve of this guy is unbelievable! Matilda moves off to the bathroom and Lucas launches into attack. Dean is completely thrown when Lucas reveals he saw him kissing another guy. Dean tries to cover by suggesting Gareth has a crush on him and won’t leave him alone. Dean reiterates he isn’t gay and questions why Lucas would want to hurt Matilda by telling her a stack of lies. Dean leaves and Lucas makes the decision to bite the bullet. Matilda is utterly shocked when Lucas reaccounts what he saw and suggests that Dean is gay. Matilda is confused as to what to believe but is willing to give Dean the benefit of the doubt. Matilda later confronts Dean and just as he is about to launch into the same story he gave Lucas, Constable Fitzgerald arrives and says she needs to have a word with him.

Down at the Station, Fitzgerald reveals a photo of Dean from the Missing Persons file. She encourages Dean to contact his family but Dean is adamant his family don’t care. It becomes clear, that Dean’s problems are not what he’d have everyone believe. Matilda is waiting when Dean comes out of the interview room. He is quick to insist there is nothing wrong but Matilda is curious – why would Dean have dealings with the police? It’s not long before Dean convinces Matilda that Lucas completely misconstrued what he saw. Lucas arrives home and discovers the couple canoodling on the lounge and it is clear Matilda has fallen for Dean’s lies - hook, line and sinker. Lucas is absolutely furious!

Amanda is still overcoming her shock from Drew’s revelation that he is attracted to her. Amanda insists it’s all just in his mind and it’s crazy he feels this way. Especially since he’s with Belle. When Drew begins to question if Amanda feels the same way, she becomes increasingly flustered and insists these thoughts must end now! The moment is interrupted by a knock at the door. A frantic Dan is on the search for Drew and is relieved to find him safe and sound. Dan insists he’s been looking everywhere for him, convinced something had happened to him again. Drew moves off with Dan, leaving Amanda to get herself a stiff drink. Belle arrives home with some art supplies, ready to paint Drew in the nude. Amanda drops her glass and it smashes on the floor. She is clearly rattled – but why is it getting to her so much?

Drew later returns to the house to pose for Belle’s artwork. Much to his embarrassment, Belle has purchased him a very brief garment made of leafs and twigs and as he is posing for Belle, Amanda passes the door way and spots Drew almost in the nude. She can’t help but stare – what a body! But she drags herself away from the pleasing sight – this is so wrong to be perving on Drew! Drew looks up and spots Amanda checking him out – their eyes lock for a moment and Amanda realises she’s been caught out! Drew later confronts her and Amanda continues to insist what he’s feeling is nothing more than a school boy crush. Amanda is defensive and Drew questions if she’s acting that way because she finds him attractive too. Amanda snaps, warning him not to mention this again. Drew moves off but it’s clear Amanda has feelings too – and it’s freaking her out!

Leah is serving Brad at the diner when Sally invites him to come around for dinner that evening. Sally is doing all she can to offer her support to Brad, who has been to-ing and fro-ing from the hospital visiting Emily. Leah comments on whether Sally is coping – obviously seeing what Emily and Brad is going through is a reminder of what Sally and Flynn had to endure. Sally insists it has actually helped her deal with her own grief. Leah is pleased and moves off. Shortly after, Brad arrives. He’s downbeat because Emily is not well and things are clearly taking their toll on him. Brad doesn’t now how Emily stays so strong and as he talks about her with great affection, he struggles to hold back his tears. Brad feels guilty for dumping this on Sally but as she moves to wrap him in a big hug, his emotions take control and he finally breaks down. Brad slowly begins to calm down. Sally reassures him it’s better to let out his emotion than to keep it bottled up like she did. Brad is so grateful for her support. The moment is broken by the phone ringing. Sally moves to answer it but as she is given the news, her face falls. Brad’s heart sinks – he knows it’s Emily – and the news is not good…

Back at home, Sally, Rachel and Kim listen on as Brad reminisces about the good times with Emily. Brad decides to head out for a walk. The others comment on how well they think he’s coping but unbeknownst to them, Brad is struggling to make a difficult decision. He returns and thanks them all for their support – he couldn’t have got through it without them but he has decided to leave the Bay! Sally, Kim and especially Rachel are absolutely stunned by the sudden decision. Brad explains that by living there he will be reminded of Emily’s illness and the memories are too intense. Emily was more content knowing Brad had family and friends around him, so he agreed to move to the Bay but it was not his intention to ever stay. Nothing the others can say will change his mind and he moves off, leaving the others concerned he’s making a mistake.

Brad is sitting at the cliff top where Emily passed away, when Sally tentatively approaches. Sally mentions she understands why Brad has made the decision then hands over the letter Emily left for him, urging him to read it before he makes any decisions. Sally moves off, leaving Brad to hesitantly open the letter. In true Emily fashion, she expresses her thoughts that by now Brad has probably decided to leave the Bay to escape the memories. She predicts he feels he wants to stay but can’t because it’s too painful. Brad is overwhelmed, as he smiles wistfully – for even in her death, Emily is looking over him.

Cassie is talking to Ric on her mobile as Alf listens on, clocking the awkwardness of their conversation. Once Cassie finishes the call, Alf begins to question how the dinner party was and mentions how happy he is that Macca has found another woman. After all, it was everyone’s concern that Cassie might think about going back to him. Cassie becomes increasingly flustered and makes a quick excuse to leave. Alf is left even more curious. Macca finds Cassie up on the cliff top, deep in thought. Cassie is on edge and doesn’t want to be seen with him. She is sure Alf has his suspicions. Macca tries to reassure her there’s nothing to worry about but Cassie insists she can’t handle lying anymore and rushes off.

Colleen is busily cleaning Amanda’s house. She’s driving Amanda batty and much to Amanda’s relief, there is a knock at the door. Amanda welcomes Macca in and they moves off to another room– but Colleen is just around the corner listening to their every word. Macca confides in Amanda he is having an affair with Cassie. Amanda listens as Macca insists he can’t change is feelings despite her having a boyfriend. Amanda advises then he should stick with it. Colleen’s eyes light up, although she hasn’t heard mention of fact Macca is talking about Cassie, she is shocked Macca is seeing a woman who’s already spoken for!

Cassie enters the Diner, still lost in thought. There is a hive of activity following the announcement Robbie and Tasha are having a christening for baby Ella. As everyone gushes over the baby, Cassie moves over to join in. A random comment is made about Cassie and Ric being great parents one day. Cassie is mortified and her guilt becomes even stronger. Meanwhile, Colleen has popped round to visit Alf, or more importantly, to relay the gossip she’s just overheard about Macca’s new girlfriend. Alf’s ears prick up when Colleen mentions this new woman of his is actually spoken for! Colleen insists that Macca always was a dirty rotten scoundrel but Alf is concerned – his suspicions about Cassie and Macca are growing stronger.

Alf tracks down Macca at the beach and charges into interrogation mode. Macca is taken aback by the 20 questions but Alf is on a mission to get to the bottom of it all. Whilst Macca pretends to be oblivious, Alf insists he didn’t come down in the last shower and suggests that he and Cassie are seeing each other behind Ric’s back! Knowing he’s just been busted – Macca prepares for the worst as Alf demands to know what the flamin’ hell is going on!!

Oh my god, who would have thought, posting a few spoilers, would be such hard work Took me forever

Anyway. Sounds like a good week coming up. I'm looking forward to the Peter/Drew stuff. Should be good. As does Brad/Emily. That should be quite good, and moving, what with Sally being involved.
